SPECIAL: Voices of Milwaukee — Ordinary people talk about violence, family and broken Democratic promises

Lauren SouthernRebel Commentator

On Saturday afternoon Sylville Smith, a 23-year-old black man from Milwaukee, allegedly pulled a stolen gun on an African American police officer, who then shot Smith for fear of his life.

A protest in Sherman Park against Smith’s death turned into a riot, thanks to agitators like the Nation of Islam, Black Lives Matter and Antifa. Looting was rampant. White people were dragged out of their cars and beaten. Arsonists burned down six businesses and a home.

On Sunday night, while buildings were still burning, a Rebel cameraman and I flew to Milwaukee to find out what was really going on. I can’t trust the mainstream media to tell the real story.

(You can see my short video reports at MilwaukeeRiot.com)

The Uber driver taking us to our hotel warned us not to go to the area of Sherman Park unarmed.

Luckily we had some friends down there who love their Second Amendment, and they escorted us.

We spoke to many ordinary people, especially mothers. They agreed that young people need guidance, fathers,  role models.

Instead, there are parents out rioting with their kids, because they are kids raising kids.

I met many kind people who were just hurting. They don’t blame white people for all their problems, and know when the cops are justified and when they aren’t.

One man told me his community had been indoctrinated to blame everyone else for their problems rather than look inward, and how all promises the Democrats make about helping them are just politics as usual.

These people are frustrated with Black Lives Matter, with the lies and the race baiting. WATCH as they speak for themselves, about what they think can and should be done.

Well that was a lousy show… Three commercial breaks over a period of 17 minutes, big differences in audio volume levels, and most of the content was already on Youtube. Still a lot better than what the mainstream media is reporting though :-)

Thank you, Lauren, for the real story on what is going on. I certainly would not have heard any of this from the CBC.

How sad is it that these black communities are so impressionable that they are always willing to believe that “the white man” is out to get them. Laws and logic never seem to apply to them.

Jay, wow, how screwed up can one person get? “Lauren Southern was asked to go to the U.S. to uncover a story of us against them. That is the weakness of The Rebel.” Where do I start? I don’t think Lauren was asked to go anywhere, she decided on her own, at least that’s the impression I got. The “us against them” angle, WTF? So, you’re saying it’s really a story of unification? Where the hell did THAT come from? Somehow, the MSM (whom you’re supporting) in all their stories glorifying the damage done by BLM etc. is supposed to not be antagonistic, not “us against them”? Here’s what’s really happening Jay: the MSM is reporting in an “us against them” manner, but they’re taking the position that the “us” is BLM. Lauren’t POV is that the “us” is everyone else. But they’re both “us against them”, for sure. It’s just that Lauren’s talking to other people involved in it than the BLM people the MSM people are focusing on. It’s an attempt at balanced reporting, something you’ll have to go to a reputable journalism school to understand, I guess. I only know of one, so, good luck with that. Then there’s your “weakness” comment. Again, WTF? That comment just makes no sense. I really don’t understand that. How is it a weakness to uncover a story, any story? Please tell me, Jay, what that means. Go to Google and type in “uncovering a story is a weakness for a news/media organization how?” and tell me what it says.

liza Rosie commented -" Another bonus of Trump getting in is Ben Carson."

There definitely will be a place for Carson in a Trump cabinet – secretary of Urban renewal?

- Police shooting happens / it’s instantly labeled a murder before any facts can get out / activists are bussed in to produce “spontaneous” outrage / the city gets gutted / Obama & palls gin up racial hatred / George Soros pays the activists / the activists go off to the next “spontaneous” outrage / the mainstream media spin the Democrat narrative / the people are left with the mess. Next.

- The Democrat party is the party of slavery. These days they’re harvesting votes.

Can any REBEL tell me when was the last time a “white” mob ran wild burning and robbing and rioting their community in the U.S.A.
The last time a protest by mainly “white” protesters was when the Tea Party protested. They left the park cleaner than when they arrived. And no one was injured.

Wanna learn about the Dem Party racket – see this movie or read the book – book is better.

http://hillarysamericathemovie.com/

The Dems have decades of paying off “uncle Toms” to pull the masses of blacks under their influence in exchange for social program payouts. These programs are designed like cocaine – to get them hooked and keep them down.

The Dems are the party of pro-slavery, now enslavement – Canada has this same process – check your tax rate lately???

Canada and the liberal party have done the same thing with the indians – and the media party press-titutes just sit around waiting and promote this vile shit.

FUCK YOU TRUDEAU!!! FUCK YOU HILLARY!!!!

Lauren Southern, thanks again for a great reporting job; you are a very brave woman. It is so important what you do. I hope many Canadians appreciate the full value of it and that they take the full measure of it. The Rebel is the only News organization that can be trusted in Canada.

Very interesting stats, thanks Bill Elder. Another bonus of Trump getting in is Ben Carson. You can be sure he will be there in some capacity. Who better to help tackle this problem with some common sense than Ben Carson.
Good reporting Lauren, you gave us some insight. Looking forward to more.

Bill Elder it is usually left wing run cities that are high in crime and poverty, they always fail to mention that when talking about programs and other such crap.
Good to see the sensible blacks not falling for the lies and stupidity.
Jay Kelly you really need to get out more. The left is the reason blacks are downtrodden.

Thanks Jay Kelly, for your asinine commentary. You criticize The Rebel when they think too small, you criticize when they think too big. Nice try, dogsbody.

Black IQs matter:
I’m surprised Milwaukee hasn’t exploded in rioting sooner.

Some interesting stats:

Wisconsin blacks usually score the lowest in the national Educational Progress tests of public school students. 55 years after the landmark Brown v. Board of Education case, a majority of African-American males in this country are still not graduating from high school, Wisconsin has one of the lowest rates in the nation.

Blacks in Wisconsin are 9 times more likely than the general population to be on welfare, the worst ratio in the country.

Predictably the black incarceration rate in Wisconsin is the second highest in the US.

Milwaukee elected three mayors on the Socialist Party ticket. Wisconsin is where European welfare state socialism came closest to happening in America. But it’s also where the welfare state owners (Dems) turned the perennial welfare under class into a captive vote plantation.

In the 80s Milwaukee’s primary industrial employers migrated to China and more tax friendly havens, precipitating a skilled working class and white middle class migration out of the city, leaving the large under skilled welfare-reliant black demographic stranded there. This created a vast imbalance between tax payers and tax consumers, leaving Milwaukee a welfare reliant culture on an endless loop of dependency and crime. Feeding that eternal underclass is the Democrat-influenced loser/victim narrative that creates apathy and high drop out rates in schools which renders each new generation incapable to compete in the skilled job market – vicious circle. Add to this the agitation and incitement from race baiting communist community agitation groups and you see what you saw last week.

The solution does not lie in more welfare government – they are struggling to provide basic financial life support for this community, this is unsustainable in chronic unemployment regions. What Milwaukee needs is for the Black community to care for its children’s future by emphasizing the need for them to obey the law and excel in school, then they have to toss out the traitors (Dems/BLM/Commie groups) which have kept them a politically exploited underclass. A local reform government has to convince the private sector to make an investment in Milwaukee by sponsoring technical skills colleges then creating local enterprises to employ graduating students – pretty much what Trump is saying – which BLM tells Blacks to reject.

BLM tells them to riot for more food stamps and to protect the eternal underclass dysfunctional culture, Dems/socialists/commies like the eternally reliant inner city vote plantation – this will end badly for blacks and America unless they choose a different path. The best welfare program is a clean record and a steady job.

Thanks for doing some of the heavy lifting that the MSM fails to do. These communities are being ripped apart by entities such as BLM and Nation of Islam. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson do more to cause death and destruction, than they do good, if they do any good at all. As long as the status quo is maintained, as long as Democrats are in power in America, and Liberals/NDP in Canada, this problem will not be solved. They quite frankly do not want it solved, because it helps them promote the narrative of division and hate, which keeps them in power.

Happening frequently in Canada’s Aboriginal community. No supervision or discipline at home. So much violence and drunkedness, but the kids are told they are being “oppressed” and its whitey’s fault. CBC has a policy of perpetuating this story to the benefit of no one. Trudeau and Bennett are ignoring the grassroots and appeasing the elitist Aboriginal leaders and their activists.

John Landry, do not apologize for commenting twice. Do it more often!

The Black Lives Matter movement in Toronto is so insulting and hurtful, and it is almost inviting a hatred of race against race.

As you point out, the situation in Canada is different than in the United States. Canadians are bewildered by the Black/White diatribe. For one thing, Canadians do not all fit into either White or Black.

It is somewhat sad that Lauren Southern flew off to the U.S. to prepare a sort of expose. It does not help that she says in her item “I can’t trust the mainstream media to tell the real story.”

Lauren Southern was asked to go to the U.S. to uncover a story of us against them. That is the weakness of The Rebel.

The BLM are being paid to stir up trouble and cause violence, based on lies and deception. Does anyone else see that this mindless destruction, is the same mindless destruction that Islam is bringing. I think they are just setting the stage, for the same type of mass destruction that is taking place in France, and Germany, and other countries that are being overrun by Islam. They are using black people, to further the destruction of anything normal in society, so that they can override our rights to freedom and democracy. I’m pointing the finger at the first black president, and his Muslim brotherhood. That’s some community organizer, but like anything from the left, it’s’ always the opposite of what they say. Who stands to gain from all this violence. It certainly isn’t the black or white people, its Islam.

Excuse me commenting twice, but I’m so angry at the BLM being here in Canada. I grew up with all kinds of people in Toronto. We all made fun of each other, but at the same time, loved and respected each other. I never had a bone of hatred for any person during my childhood or youth and neither did the people I grew up with. To see a group of BLM in Canada protesting about racism here is the most disgusting and backwards thing I can imagine! Anyone who would subscribe to the BLM in Canada, needs a history lesson! What a BUNCH OF ASSHOLES!
commented 2016-08-17 22:13:32 -0400
The BLM is bad for Black people. The BLM is out for their selves and their own profit. They create a problem, present a solution and take over! Just ignore their stupid, useless lies!

Keeps getting worse and ridiculous, these people need to be shown education or else we are doomed to colapse as a society, if we haven’t already.

It’s going to get worse , when Obama leaves office , he will be the defacto leader of the black anarchy movement, and the PRESSITUTES will give him full coverage
