Lawton Online: Honouring Rob Ford, debating Patrick Brown PLUS “diversity quotas” ignore men

Andrew LawtonRebel Commentator

In this Lawton Online, I pay tribute to the outspoken former mayor with a heart of gold, Rob Ford, who passed away this week and explain why Canada is grateful to have had him for however short a time we did.

I also talk to columnist Peter Shawn Taylor about the University of Manitoba "disadvantaged person" diversity quotas that seem to think everyone is a victim--except men.

Then, I share a segment of an interview I did with Ontario PC Party leader Patrick Brown about carbon pricing, and explain why we, as conservatives, can't let ourselves get infiltrated by the climate alarmists.

How long until white people are forced to sit at the back of the bus?

The faculty of education at the university of Manitoba has one saving grace. All applicants must have completed a degree before entering the faculty. The U of M has a policy as to how to deal with affirmative action quotas not being met. When this happens, they will just fill that quota up with members of another minority group. So if there were not enough native applicants to meet the quota, then they can fill those numbers with disabled people.

On a side note, the U of M education faculty is the largest faculty on campus to be physically cut off from everything else. They are just one building in the middle of campus, and they do not even have an underground tunnel connecting them to anywhere else. I wonder if the isolation has made the faculty become more delusional and distant from reality.

On the topic of delusional, I feel very sorry for conservatives in Ontario. Talk about having the worst conservative leader in all of Canada. If I lived in Ontario, I think I would join the conservative masses in staying home instead of going out to vote.

What a complete mealy-mouth weasel Patrick Brown is. His being chosen as the Ontario Conservative leader over Christine Elliott completely guarantees that the corrupt Liberals and Wynne will once again be elected next year. More is the shame.

That was my point Peter Netterville…the word is co-opted jargon for anti-white male pogrom. The people who have that word in their daily vocabulary actually believe in a one size fits all overbearing conformity.

There isn’t a chance that I’d vote for him if I lived in ON. Patrick is looking out for himself, not the voters.

Glenn Craig said, “The very word “diversity” means “not a white man””

Definition of diversity (Merriam-Webster):
1) the quality or state of having many different forms, types, ideas, etc.
2) the state of having people who are different races or who have different cultures in a group or organization

Really, Glenn? Seems to me that it would include white man as well as the others. Maybe your definition is how the politically correct think of it, but according to the dictionary definitions, white man would be included in diversity. Not very diverse if it does not include every group, is it.

The very word “diversity” means “not a white man” ……unless in a wheel chair or wearing a pink Stetson hat. All “diversity” programs are anti-white male pogroms.

If Patrick Brown continues to lead the Ontario PCs, you will just get another Liberal government in Ontario.

Patrick Brown calls it “running” when the Conservatives hold to the truth that this Anthropogenic Climate Change is a scam meant to be a tax grab. Patrick Brown wants to give in to the enviro-liars.

Caring about the environment does NOT mean trying to reduce the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. That is a load of crap. The real pollution is massive land fill sites, toxic waste dumps, dumping raw sewage into the ocean, and other similar real pollution.

Well, I self identify as a disadvantaged Anglo-Saxon single white male, and my “self identified” group is a minority and it is disadvantaged in so very many ways.
