Lawton Online: John Robson on women in combat, feminism critic Cathy Young and drunk healthcare workers

Andrew LawtonRebel Commentator

In this Lawton Online, I chat with fellow Rebel historian-in-chief Dr. John Robson about whether women should be allowed in military combat, PLUS:

I talk about an alcoholic healthcare worker who won the right to be drunk on the job, and speak to feminism critic Cathy Young, who is in Toronto and Ottawa speaking this week despite attempts to shut her down.

This inevitably leads to discussion about why free speech is not alive and well on university campuses.

John Day….I saw the fanfare of this thread and like you it almost put me to sleep even though the subject matter is something we are usually passionate about……John you have lots of experience and practice on YOUTUBE……why not make a submission to the MEGAPHONE…..I for one would love to see it.

Andrew, back in the sixties, Foster Hewitt’s voice always put me to sleep during Hockey Night in Canada. You have the same effect on me. Thanks for a nice nap at work. Always love to hear John Robson, a very smart man.
