Lawton Online: Mark Steyn on climate change & cat crooning, the Naked Chef’s “fat tax”, plus banning Mein Kampf

Andrew LawtonRebel Commentator

Mark Steyn makes his return to Lawton Online this week, joining me to break down Justin Trudeau's planet-saving trip to Paris for the U.N. climate summit, as well as to talk about his new album of cat songs (yes, you read that right.)

I also talk to Kevin Lacey of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation about chef Jamie Oliver's hypocritical war on sugar, and explain the move to ban Mein Kampf--and why it shouldn't happen.

The idea that some jew hating Islamist is going to become even more radicalized by reading Mein Kampf is laughable. Its akin to me not watching the news anymore about world genocides, and then declaring that because I don’t witness it, it is not happening. The idea that educating ourselves and learning history is a bad thing is backwards. I could argue that Das Capital is more destructive as its proponents have killed upwards of 100 million people, but I still read it, so I know what I am talking about when I critique socialism. And indeed, making a fuss about it causes curiosity.

Mein Kampf is feared because it ‘goes against the status quo’???? Sorry, but that’s shallow, facile, and ludicrous. Mein Kampf is a blueprint for genocide. And it’s a hot seller, along with the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, in Muslim – especially Arab – countries. Your contextualization of the issue is seriously inadequate. Put this together with Ezra Levant’s interviews with French Muslims after the Paris attacks last month, the ones who blamed Israel/Mossad/the Jooooos for the attacks, just for starters.

People will be swayed when they are told not to do something!! That becomes highly suspect when people are not allowed to embrace all information!! Read and read on!

Just heard that Canada’s delegation to France is 383 people more than the U,K, Australia and another (sorry missed it) countries delegation combined. Just who wonder is footing the tab for this show.
