“The NDP can’t stop the craziness”: Far-left LEAP Manifesto back on the party’s agenda

Brian LilleyRebel Co-Founder

During the last election, NDP leader Thomas Mulcair tried to drag his party to the center. The NDP still lost miserably and now, instead of focusing on the real reasons why, some members say Mulcair wasn't leftwing enough.

At the Party's upcoming gathering, some of them are re-tabling the LEAP Manifesto.

I told you about this crazy plan during the campaign:

A demand for a guaranteed annual income, universal daycare, the end of fossil fuels and a return to a small scale farming economy, to name a few of its socialist policies. All endorsed by David Suzuki, Avi Lewis and all the "usual suspects."

WATCH and I'll read to you some of what's in this LEAP Manifesto.

It's the sort of stuff that we already know doesn't work, in failed nations like Venezuela -- and now the NDP is desperate to implement it here.

So BRIAN , what your trying to say, is that our pm imam is a LEAP FROG
commented 2016-04-05 20:25:50 -0400
Round up all those NDP nut jobs & deposit the lot in an asylum for the insane & then turn off the electricity, gas & anything else fossil based. The food has to go also because in winter especially, trucks running on fossil fuels transports most of it. They should have no problem with this because that is what they preach. Enjoy your stay!! ,

“The most important thing is to keep your children away from the all day daycare game. They are trying to take your children and groom them for a political cult. This all day daycare needs to be stopped. This was Hitler’s tactic, and they don’t give a damn about the children.”

Interesting point Deborah,
The education system is constantly teaching children and students to self-censor themselves, and teaching that it’s a virtue to not challenge anybody or make others feel uncomfortable.

It’s more of that utopia mentality again, where the leftwing wants everyone to become robots, and be a mirror image of what they think is right for other people;
rather than teaching people how to think for themselves, and understand that is actually a virtue to be critical. This is how progress is made.

Freedom is the opposite of enforcing belief systems.
Freedom is allowing other people to act on their self-determination.
It’s not about moralizing and gospelizing everyone to think the same.

Parents can help counter this regressive education strategy (indoctrination) by teaching your children critical thinking.
Teach them that everything has pros and cons, and that you must evaluate all angles and evaluate the full body of evidence on a topic.
And act on what’s best regardless of your biases.

The scary part is that there are millions of Canadians who support the policies of the LEAP Manifesto.
commented 2016-04-05 13:58:53 -0400
I wonder where the 4-million is that the NDP owed to Canadian taxpayers? I’ll bet Tom sold his soul to the liberals, so they could write off the debt.

Brian compares the LEAP Manifesto to what has been tried in Venezuela. Personally, it reminds me more of what Pol Pot did in Cambodia. Pol Pot ordered the cities evacuated and put everyone to work on agriculture trying to build his socialist utopia. 2 million people, a full third of the Cambodian population, died in the four years that he tried his experiment before he was finally overthrown. The LEAP Manifesto feels like a sugar-coated version of the same thing: end all foreign trade and get everyone back on the farms to practice subsistence agriculture. While the NDP doesn’t describe this local agriculture as mandatory, it seems inevitable that it will become mandatory if we exit all our foreign trade and let the infrastructure rot, as they are proposing. We’ll all have to work on the farms or starve.

Our unicorns can LEAP over bigger rainbows than your unicorns – the latest Dip pissing match with the selfie party Libs – both gunning for the citiot-welfare-pot user green weenie vote.

The only thing that demographic produces is a drug hazed fantasy that politicians can exploit.

“… a small scale economy…”

aka extreme poverty. None of these city dwelling Starbucks addicts know how to grow their own food or hunt, yet they beg for this?

Laughable. Maybe they’ll get to be number 2 again 50 years from now

Breathtaking that the “Leap” moniker is bandied about given the millions that died under Mao’s "Great Leap Forward’… Which, ironically, reminds those old enough, of the smug 70s folk song refrain: – “When will they every learn; when will they ever learn?”… Evidently, for NDippers – “never”…

Was there any socialist sound bite they didn’t include in their ‘manifesto’? The low info, nanny state babies are going to love it. What, is Mulcair trying to be Canada’s answer to Bernie?

When the left try to be constructive, they always come up with the most ludicrous goals possible.

Seen a picture of Libby Davies recently? She is one of the promoters of Leap Manifesto and eating only food grown within 150 miles.

She looks like she has eaten an extra large pepperoni pizza every day for the past fifteen years. Seriously, I don’t know how she can get out of a chair under her own power she is so huge. These NDP (No Damn Principles) can’t even hide their hypocrisy. She is an advertisement for a fat farm.
I hope they keep promoting this lunacy and maybe that will backfire and see Tommie the Commie disappear out of sight.

Only ndp and manifesto can be used in the same sentence.

Wonderful! Canada’s version of Cambodia under Pol Pot.

What would be the lesser evil, NDPeeism or Sharia Law and Islam ? I have been thinking about this for some time now but I cannot decide. They both represent the end of civilization.

The NDP can stick there commie dream , i will not live under a state run dictatorship like they want.

The NDP is a socialist dream of the leftwing.
In the ’60s, the NDP was originally “a hardline socialist party, dedicated to the downfall of the capitalist system.”
But I would say it still is.

The leftwing love the government paying their way; this prevents them from having to ‘try’ in life.
Just sit back and reap the free handouts.
It’s a poverty mentality.

Look at Quebec as a template of failure of humanity. They are the 50 year old able-bodied kid living in his parent’s basement, and his mom still making his bed for him every morning. (to the tune of $20B in transfer payments every year, and increasing by an extra $1B yearly; free money from hard working motivated Canadians who actually produce.)

What has come out of there since Celine Dion?
Just unmotivated socialist plebians sitting around watching their skewed version of the CBC Censorship Channel.

No spirit.
No drive.
No will.
No desire to achieve.
No wish to excel.

Venezuela 2.0

The leftwing utopian dream is to mirror the society of a banana republic.
Stalin would have loved the NDP and Quebec. :-O

United Nations Agenda21/30 Canada now has enough folks living in country and born in the country from third world countries following same oppressive religious political religion and with the covering of multiculturalism that are forced to vote for all things against personal freedoms hence popularity of NDP/Liberals/PC. Countries oppressive debt is the direct result of supporting these special “hyphenated citizens”! Better reject all Political correct culture and dismantle of moral society! NDP are now enemy of home/family/country! Get out Notley and your liberal PC counter parts!

Fuck didn’t these wealthy has-beens get their 15 minutes of re-fame back in September? Go find a island somewhere build huts and sing kumbaya already. Take Dicraprio with you and leave us to develop in due time. Yes there will be a time when “real” science and development will bring humankind to the point where we are not dependant on oil,,, but we’re going to have to burn oil and manufacture products from oil to get there. You just can’t turn off the switch and expect things overnight and to not have people turning on eachother in the streets because they’ve lost everything. I’ve never seen so many “book smart” people proving just how real world stupid they are and lack just common fucking sense! Of course the burn outs and failiures who figure they are entitled to be “taken care of” just because they were born sign up figuring they’ll get the hug they so desperatley need and tag along for the promised free ride.
Fine,,,you don’t want to go to an island then move all these freaks to the welfare provinces in eastern Canada, split the fucking country up ( It doesn’t work anymore ) and let us be successful. Just don’t come whining for handouts any more. I’m sick of this shit! I work smart and hard. I’ve EARNED what I have. I pay my taxes and am ok with that as long as it’s not excessive and going into the pockets of thieving politicians and welfare bums who are just too fucking lazy or like I said before, feel entitled to be taken care of simply because they were born. I say please and thank you and hold doors open for people and help people who truly need it where I can. I’m proud with what I’ve built and aquired and if you have a problem with it then you can suck a fart out of my ass!

The crazed socialists will never understand reality . . . not ONCE has this marxist philosophy succeeded in over 100 years. Where are we going with this insanity? Venezuela or Greece !

Sadly, those pushing for the federal NDP to accept the LEAP manifesto and move way left to socialism will probably have more chance of gaining federal seats. It seems Canada is not just tipping left in recent years, but it is bolting that direction.
