Liberal conundrum: Side with their anti-airport Toronto MPs? Or "corporate welfare bum" Bombardier?

Rebel Staff

No surprise: Corporate welfare bum Bombardier is already demanding a billion more dollars in corporate bailouts from Trudeau's Liberals.

And why not? Justin Trudeau is from Quebec, that back-slappy world of insiders and old friends.

As I told you earlier, he’s already appointed a senior executive from the Desmarais Family’s Power Corporation to head up his transition team.

But look at this news:

The Liberals, led by far left-wing MP Adam Vaughan are considering blocking the expansion of Billy Bishop Airport in downtown Toronto. The airport wants to make their runways longer to accommodate larger aircraft.

In fact, Porter Airlines has ordered $2.3 billion worth of new jets from Bombardier. They need those longer runways to use those jets.

So will the Liberals support their anti-development, anti-industry extremist MPs in Toronto, who are against the runway, and kill a $2.3 billion Bombardier deal. But what about Bombardier’s existing demand for a billion dollars?

You know, Ronald Reagan had the Liberals' number. He used to say, if something moves, government taxes it. If it still moves, government regulates it. And when it stops moving, government subsidizes it.

Since the Liberal party has long been about picking winners and losers, aka corporate welfare, my guess is they will bail out Bombardier. Corporate welfare under the Liberal Party was disgusting, but to be fair, I don’t recall Harper doing anything to roll it back.

Steve, I am not convinced Justin Trudeau is a homosexual, but he certainly does have effeminate qualities.

Bombardier share price – $1.38.

….and if it’s dead, the government will subsidize it.

Our homosexual boy Trudeau will be signing cash over to quebec/demarais/bombardier faster than a herd of fat kids assaulting a truck load of snickers bars.

Watch as cash gets routed to quebec and in return Canada gets force fed dialect french that no one outside of Canada speaks including France.

Airport expansion and Bombardier jobs or anti-job insanity? We’ll know what Butts has decided when JT speaks.

I think Justin will go with Bombardier. I remember when all they made was Snowmobiles, that was until the family got tied up, by marriage to Liberal PM, can’t remember his name,, Cretin or something like that. Now they make Buses, Trains and Aircraft. Some good bids got turned away on them deals I bet. Keep it in the family boys.

Since I can’t comment on the Anti- Christian post, I will comment here:
I hope those bureaucrats that prevent Christians from singing will be able to deal with the cry of “Allah Akbar” at their door. Can they ban that too?…oh and it won’t be SINGING THAT TIME

I always did get a kick out of the left whining about corporate welfare except when it comes to those loans(yeah sure) to Bombardier , that was somehow different. And i seem to remember they had an exemption from the Kyoto accord as well. Also the way they hated any thought of private health clinics , unless they were abortion clinics of course.
SUCH INTEGRITY!

Left wing activists like “bullets Vaughan” lining up foursquare in another attempt to drive out BB Airport is another rent seeking scam in aid of boosting the property values of newly arrived waterfront condo residents, not unlike Wynne’s gas plants opus from the provincial election.

Well Justin you wanted to be PM, now you have to make a tough decision. Part of the job.

What is Justin going to do with the Pickering Airport? Yes, the one his daddy started…kicking families off the land that they had owned for generations..All of his local MPs are against it, Mark Holland, Jennifer O’Connell…The City of Pickering wants the airport. So does Regional Chair Roger Anderson, but the residents of Pickering, Ajax and Eastern Scarborough don’t…Other than do another study (add it to the pile already done and the millions of dollars wasted on them)…the question then becomes: WWJD…What Would JUSTIN Do?
