Liberals put new spin on old style Quebec politics to give your money to aerospace industry

Brian LilleyRebel Co-Founder

We all know Justin and his Liberals aren’t big fans of the oil and gas industry, repeatedly telling us they won’t champion pipeline projects because their job is to be an “impartial referee”.

Of course, careful inspection of the referee’s calls, shows that they do have their favourite players on the ice and they’re pretty good at giving their favoured businesses a helpful assist now and then, with your money.

I point to some recent comments from Justin Trudeau and his Finance Minister, Bill Morneau that demonstrate how these Trudeau Liberals are playing the old fashioned game of Pierre Trudeau and Brian Mulroney when it comes to favouring business players from vote-rich Quebec and eastern Canada over the west.

Any chance we will ever find out how much of that tax money gets spun around and used to pay off lieberals and the Liebranos? Methinks, no!

I have said all along – the french bastards in canadallah will get the money.

It is simply a matter of timing and optics.

Dash-8s were designed by Boeing before Bombardier bought DeHavilland.

I work in the aviation business. Government involvement has made it such a low-margin, high-overhead business that only big players with government connections can survive in it.

Jet fuel guzzling. Ontario continues to build vehicles with internal, combustion engines. Trudeau spits in the face of westerners who just want their fair share. All Canadians would support the slow phasing in of a green economy, but our kid PM want it his way and is obviously prepared to destroy the west. Can he be stopped?…….

Are Bombardier some kind of Con Artists. The UK Government just gave them 300,000,000 Pounds Sterling, not three months ago.
Now they are after more.

They build their plant in Northern Ireland, a tax haven, and are not even employing Canadians. Bet Quebec takes a cut.

All Baby Doc has to do is redesignate transfer payments to as Quebec as being ear-marked for Bombardier and not as revenue for the Quebec government. That means no increase in money to from the Canadian taxpayer to Quebec beyond what we already waste on them. It will make Bombardier happy because they will get more than their billion, and the Quebec government should be happy because their demand for federal funding to Bombardier will have been met.

Win win for everybody. I’m sure the Quebec liberals and their junior staff in Ottawa will like this suggestion.

Bombardier is not aerospace.

Bombardier is a virtually bankrupt company – no one wants their planes.

Their dash 8’s used to be worth something, but Embrauer kicked this shit out of Bombardier with a better product.

$1B to Bombardier, librano consulting companies invoice Bombardier for their kickback to their own holding companies. Fraud at it’s best.
