Liberals try covering up moving expense mess

Brian LilleyRebel Co-Founder

The Liberals are trying to cover up the mess they created when they signed off on huge moving expenses for high level staffers Gerald Butts and Katie Telford. In addition to apologizing (sort of), Butts and Telford have agreed to repay some of the money.

The heat got so bad they’ll pay some of it back, but it’s fair to ask, why did this happen in the first place?

And it’s also fair to ask if there were other Liberal insiders getting these cash payments.

We need to keep the pressure up.

Help us show the government how annoyed Canadians are at being taken advantage of by these entitled Liberals by signing and sharing our petition at

Isai Libbslye = another Penson/Kelly troll accout

Been hitting the bong tonight Penson-Kelly-Isai – your obsequious logic is really fragmented – we should blame the movers for Butts’ pilfering – right, so says the talking sphincter.

Has the link to Brookfield Asset Management, and Brookfield Renewable energy like been explored ? They were the ones trusted to ‘make the move’ for Butts/Telford. I find it somewhat fishy Frank McKenna is the chairman of the board, you can see the money in and out of both federal and provincial goverments…(contracts for Asset Management (overcharging on moves) and Renewables (Green in Ontario) ) ( OLP and LPC political contributions the other way) Just curious …

Hey, its not like having a $16 glass of juice. You know, sweat the small stuff but ignore the big grabs.

Baby Doc learned well at Papa Doc’s knee.

How would Baby Doc Trudeau refuse to sign? Whatever Butts tells him to do he does. What next? Butts hands him a warrant to hang a “climate denier”? The Little Prince Dumb would sign.

Longing for the days of Cretian? Where it wasn’t this bad for personal double dipping?

Miss Stephen Harper yet?

Only a Liberal would try to hide a steaming turd under a shite-stained blanket – worse than the crime is the cover up – transparency is simply a meaningless platitude for corrupt Liberals to preen with in their hollow rhetoric.

Butts and the other advisers are the people Trudeau trusts the most and they just stabbed him in the back. Trudeau is looking very out of touch with Canadians because these people used him. I believe that they have low morals and too much influence with Trudeau.

I guess the next question is who bought Butt’s home for so much more than he payed for it. Is it possible the rabbit hole is a lot deeper.

Trudeau and his boy Butts – a match made for stupid fucking Canadians that voted for these marxist pigs.

The MSM & Liberals almost destroyed Duffy with their incessant criticism & pursuit for the $90K & for which all charges were eventually dropped but now that they’re caught in a scandal, they’re trying to make light of it & cover it up. Must be nice to go into a high paying job & all the costs associated with the sale of your home are all covered by the taxpayer. What about Trudeau himself, did he not move, how much did he claim.
BTW! Trudeau & Sophie are off again to Victoria to hobnobb with Kate & William. What a farce this all is. One holiday after another, off all summer, travelled for most of the other months & no end in sight. This is a comedy of horrors.

You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink. Pigs at a trough, an entirely different story.

Robbing the Canadian Tax Payer is part of the Liberal Manifesto. Just look back to Liberal Governments of the past, right back to Trudeau’s Daddy, who was an expert at relieving people of their hard earned money. I must say, though, I think our current PM is going to beat all the records, as far as deficits are concerned. How much money will Canadians owe, at the end of Trudeau’s first and last Term.

Indeed. Why did this happen in the first place? CRA rules are quite specific. A citizen can claim actual moving expenses beyond a certain amount and distance if they are moving to a job. The return is fractional. The Liebranos whether they like it or not are simply employees of the Canadian Public, nothing more. The arrogant attitude surrounding this event betrays public trust and is way past acceptable. More worrisome is the other 4 years we the voting public will have to wait before tossing these thieves onto the street. Moot point however, as by then, Justin bin EL BOW will have subverted the electoral system using his phony majority to keep the Liebranos as rulers indefinitely!

This is a litmus test of the insincere “transparency” , if this Chretien era Librano pilfering is what we can expect in the coming years, this will be a one term government.

This speaks to the basic immaturity of these clowns, both elected and unelected, which bodes well well for future flubs. A sense of entitlement by these ubermensch will alienate voters and the best thing is that these clowns are oblivious to the effect they are having. Pass the popcorn and watch the comedy.

If this had not been discovered and if outfits like the rebel had not promoted it – would they have paid it back?

Bev lost her job over a glass of orange juice.

Seems these guys are untouchable.

What they claimed is more than the vast majority of people could ever hope to make.

And what they claimed was covered by the tax payer.

They do not give a damn – and that is the problem.

What are they getting that we DO NOT know about?
