Liberals use Remembrance Day to fundraise (for the Liberal Party -- not veterans)

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

The Liberals have sworn that they will not buy F-35 fighter jets, to replace our aging CF-18 jets, which are older than most of the pilots who fly them.

The Liberals won’t be replacing the CF-18s — why would they? They don’t plan on using them, even in a relatively safe mission, like fighting ISIS as part of a larger NATO coalition.

But once a year, on Remembrance Day, the Liberals love the military!

At their official party website, they have one whole sentence thanking the members of Canada’s Armed Forces and Canada’s veterans.

And there’s a bright green donation button in the top right.

So the Liberal Party doesn’t have a lot of time for soldiers. But once a year, they show they care — by fundraising off the backs of veterans.

Liberals have a historical record of mistreatment of the Canadian military going back to JT’s father PET. The conservatives were way better at it than the previous Liberal governments. Let’s see what JT can do to remedy these past gaffs.

Many veterans have been disilusioned or hurt by their treatmet by Veteran’s Affairs over the past few years. Those who have served their country in an exemplary fashion — that is, those who are veterans — can now enjoy a bit of respect.

Typical liberals showoffs, these entitled liberals

OOps! I did not mean the Military were not respectful! I meant that they appropriately and respectfully wore their uniforms in camouflage or blue or even the motorcycle vets in their leathers with medals!
commented 2015-11-12 13:18:30 -0500
Call me petty, but could not have JT and his wife wore more “conservative” overcoats in black or navy for such a solemn event as Remembrance Day? Everyone else there in the front lines, excepting military in uniform, was respectful. Were their dark coats at the cleaners or did the Liberal Party suggest they stand out from the crowd? They look like they are dressed for a Sunday stroll in Ottawa after mass (or is that after mosque?). Perhaps, the old ones were wore out and the trust fund cheque hadn’t come yet. Well, PaPa PET was a bit of a fashion plate…yeh, sure!

So Don you’re spreading the ABC message for them, how about being fair and go to The Veteran’s for the Conservative Party Facebook page and get the other side of these veteran’s story, Bravo isn’t the only veteran that thinks the Liberal’s are braindead..

Jay, exactly. It’s shameful how the last government treated it’s Veterans. Send them off to protect the freedoms we enjoy and then screw them when they get back. Shameful.

Jay – I somehow doubt you are a military if only from your opening line that states this:

“Drew, military veterans like myself are relieved and grateful that we have a new government which may respect us.”

If you are indeed a veteran I almost think you are a paid shill.

I still work in a military office on a major base and I can tell you there is not one person who is happy being under the lib thumb. That is all ranks.

I also remember the way we were treated by the libs – I remember my Dad an Air Frame Tech collecting supplemental welfare because his pay was so low.

I remember the creature – Chretien – may he die a long, slow and painful death for what he did to my friends and I – and calling us boy scouts.

I remember how he sent us to A’stan with poor clothing, equipment and non-functioning weapons.

I remember the Consrvatives buying us new environmental clothing, weapons and improving ou services – were they perfect? No.

Was the money fr pensions a sore point?

Damned right and I know because I get one for an incident and an IED

But over all I gave the Conservatives a B minus – the libs? They will fuck you in the left ear and smile as you bow down to them.

I remember far more and most of it was which was far worse than the stories screamed from the media about the Conservatives. It will not be long now before the libs go back to their old ways.

Jay – for that statement alone – and I know you will not care – I now despise you – you have swallowed the bull crap

Drew, military veterans like myself are relieved and grateful that we have a new government which may respect us.
Over the past ten years we have had a government which showed disdain for the military.
May I say, respectfully, that they were supported by you?
A weird Conservative ideology seemed stronger than a respect for the individual.
Do you reflect on the things that you say about us?

Sean Penson maybe drink some raw sewage i hear it is better than carrot juice, at least according to the libs.
commented 2015-11-12 01:41:32 -0500
Sean Penson sorry we will criticize the libs as much as we choose to , we do not need your permission to do so.

Don Cloud Justin will have shorter term than Harper did.

Jay Kelly where did you get that phony stat from? And maybe talk to some actual military people, not the ones CBC has on.

The new Liberal government has more Veterans as members than any government since the 1940’s. People who have served in the military are glad that the government respects them for the first time in a long time. There are also more veterans in Cabinet than there have been for decades.
Most strikingly, of course, the new Minister of National Defence.

Sorry, that was a typo. Should read F18’s.
commented 2015-11-11 21:46:16 -0500
I almost puked when I heard the shiny pony in that interview talking about the military whipping out their F15’s. He has no respect for the military and he showed his real colors in that interview and backed it up by withdrawing our fighters from Iraq. He also said he won’t replace our aging fighter planes, Then the hypocrite shows up on remembrance day and pretends that he supports our veterans. This guy is so shallow. It’s a wonder he didn’t use the occasion to take selfies with the veterans.

Justin is a Muslim, they are all in the closet. I guess this would make him a Child Molester also.

Exploitation anything shady you can think of seems Liberals are involved!
commented 2015-11-11 18:01:55 -0500
BARB and Steve. Nope, he’s not in the closet. And no, his relationship with his Mommy isn’t a concern.
But he is a tit…just a silly little tit. And that explains everything.

Belinda said, “keep track of the orange juice bills in Paris, lol.”

Yes, that $16 certainly was a crime of national scope! Or so the MSM made it out to be. But $280,000 Mac Harb claimed inappropriately, na that’s nothing!

Steve McQueen – you’ve posted several times that you believe Justin Trudeau (sorry – just can’t bring myself to call him PM) is a ‘closet homosexual’. I’m curious about what you base this upon. I don’t have an issue if he is, nor of anyone who is homosexual, closeted or not. The reason I’m curious, is that I’ve always suspected that Justin has an odd, if not unhealthy relationship with his mother. I base this on video coverage of the Liberal leadership race and pictures from election night.

And regarding the video to which these comments are attached. No big surprise. Didn’t this come up recently in a provincial election?
commented 2015-11-11 17:30:53 -0500
Belinda , exactly. Hold them accountable and after their majority government ( how did that happen???) ( thank Harper and that weak weak campaign ) ceases, we’ll be able to get rid of him. I voted PC the last election but Mr Harper and his team was non-existant in my area. Probably because the incumbent, a PC, knew there was no competition here, unlike the national level. And he did win by a wide margin. The NDP guy ( a First Nation’s member) didn’t do his homework and the Liberal guy was weak. But He showed up to answer questions about Trudeau’s promises. Unlike the PC candidate. I don’t think he had any answers. I voted for a winner this time, just like the last time.

Thanks Sean… I didn’t know…. So no more criticizing the Liberals for the next four years?…
commented 2015-11-11 17:18:59 -0500
Yes Liberals are in government now and we need to hold them to the same standards they held the Conservatives to – no more but definitely not less – if mainstream media did their job they’d be out in 4 years but mainstream media is not going to do their job. Hold them accountable – keep track of the orange juice bills in Paris, lol.

Sean Penson, or is it Terry Rudden? On line persona can be so incognito!
commented 2015-11-11 17:08:03 -0500
The Liberals are government now, the Conservatives lost. This is a non-issue, and doesn’t need any fighting over.
