Marc Morano: Armed guards “didn’t like my life-sized Donald Trump cutout” at UN climate meeting

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Commentator

You've seen the footage: Climate change sceptic Marc Morano was physically removed from the UN conference in Marrakech by armed guards, for holding a completely peaceful (if mischievous) demonstration today.

I met up with him to find out what happened next, and why he thinks he was singled out for this harsh treatment.

Remember:

You can see all my reports on the big-spending, hypocritical globalists at the UN COP22 meeting HERE. I'll keep you informed about what the huge Canadian delegation is doing (using your tax dollars) and lots more.

Sheila Gunn Reid is doing a fantastic job at the UN conference in Marrakech. The fact that there are so many Canadians in attendance has ticked off many international observers. They wonder why so many Canadians have so much time on their hands.

But Sheila Gunn Reid is her usual hard-working self. She describes herself a “dowdy” but she comes across as lively and enthusiastic. Many Rebel readers helped pay for her trip, which is money well spent.

She may be part of “the huge Canadian delegation” but she has her own bold voice. Go for it!

Tony why do you lefties always defend the violence that is so prevalent among yourselves? “They are passionate”… “someone might get hurt”. If the lefties control their tantrums no one will get hurt. But they are incapable of doing that so everyone else has to shut up for fear of triggering another riot in the name of compassionate leftoids. Perhaps they should grow up.

I offer you the example of the traffic snarl on Portage Avenue in Winnipeg yesterday for 2 hours caused by protesters acting “in solidarity” with protesters in North Dakota over the pipeline. This is not something Canadians have any power to influence but the SJWas can’t avoid a reason for pointless provocation to make no point. Had there been an emergency “someone would have got hurt”- as in dead in an ambulance. The cops stood by and did nothing with these loogans for fear of triggering them. They need to be triggered by the folks with a tire iron in their vehicles. Then the cops would move. Can’t have the precious snowflakes getting the lumps they so richly deserve.

Perhaps we can have an unbroken solidarity protest on Portage and Main every day over some perceived slight in the world. Protest Putin’s involvement in Syria. Protest the price of coffee beans in Brazil. Protest Trumps victory. Protest the muslim invasion in Europe. Protest whatever comes into the peabrain’s skull. After all it isn’t about making change its about making people aware of my personal hobby horse. I can’t wait.

Bill your comment reminds me of Henry Ford’s: you can any colour you want as long as its black. I guess Hank was ahead of his time. Black Matters.

Nazis and Commies rolled into one. How charming.

Tony Benjamin – there were SJWs there spewing their garbage about “deniers” and I saw some left wing political tee shirts as well, how is Morano any more provoking?

That might have been an idea. Life-sized picture of Obama, preferably hugging Baby Doc, and distributing real scientific literature about climatology from Patrick Moore, Tim Ball, and other such empirical scientists.

This is just plain silly. It’s like Marc Morano is just trying to provoke a reaction. Obviously the people in attendance are passionate about climate change. If violence was to erupt, someone could get hurt. I’m glad the security took it down. I’m disappointed in The Rebel, too. I have yet to hear anything meaningful about the conference. What was said or decided? Flinging mud is fun, but where is the substance? For instance, I would have liked to know what the reaction to the possible change in course of the US is. Do countries report on their activities? Has it made any difference to the outcome? How will they determine success? Do they invite any experts who are in disagreement or who would like to expand research on climate variability to look at other possible factors besides the still controversial CO2?

So if the Lefty’s got their way and the UN was our one-world government, I guess we have now confirmed out concerns that it’d be a dictatorial anti free speech regime! No surprise, but good to know, good to use in debates going forward.

Well this was certainly predictable.

UN globalist authoritarianism is positively Orwellian.

We get a peek at globalist social justice here – is this the freedom they have in store for their planetary governance? You have freedom to think, speak and express anything you wish as long as it conforms to our narratives – dissenters are disappeared. The creeps who support this global uniculture are possessed. “If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face – forever.” George Orwell, 1984
