Media and the left turn a blind eye to Liberal and NDP scandals

Brian LilleyRebel Co-Founder

The Mike Duffy Trial is back and we all know what that means.

Lots and lots of New Democrat and Liberal MPs, egged on by the media, asking about Duffy and his $90,000 and what the prime minister knew and when he knew it.

The NDP and Liberals have decided that Charlie Angus and Domenic Leblanc are the ethics standard bearers for their parties. There are not only problems with those two men being critical of ethics but also problems for each of the parties.

I break down the millions owed to taxpayers by each party and the problems the ethics standard bearers each have.

Adscam gomery still bother me. No charges. Entitled walk. Paul Martin, still active. Gun registry. Can’t stomach this dirt. I quit watching news cause I knew it was crap. Then I found snn. Now I watch this but my stress has peaked. You are right as MLK. Is not what you are but who you are. Or as Rachel said to Bruce Wayne " it’s not who you are but what you do that defines you." Maybe that’s why msm keeps us in the dark, so no one does anything

@maurice Potvin …The “preaching to the choir” that I dread the most is the sort that was manifested in the book “Lord of the Flies”…..the leader of the choir fancied himself as the leader of the group and was willing to do anything to get there.

There was only one Simon on the island brave enough to go and look the truth in the face…..everyone else…the choirmaster…the charismatic one…and the intelligent but unpopular fat nerd….were all true believers in “the beast”.

Maurice, it has been my experience that democracy is not a tyrany of the majority, but rather an oligarchy of those who bother to participate.

The nomination process is now happening….participate…don’t nominate anyone who advocates persecuting people for their bad habits ….the people with bad habits vote matters…don’t nominate anyone with a “let them eat cake” platform…we saw where that got Tim Hudac…don’t assume that fear of socialism will ensure a Tory vote….we saw what happened in Alberta…win the votes…don’t ever assume you are married to them.

Public square, good idea. I don’t live in a city so it’s not something I can do, but I can contact family and friends in cities and strategize. Of course, getting them to become political may be a problem, but it’s a good place to start. Thanks, Deborah.

What would be very interesting is a cost analysis of the Duffy trial and the actual wrong doing in dollar terms and how much we the taxpayer have to bear in all this shenanigans. where are the priorities? Lawyers rake in the dough and we are all victims

Maurice – we need a public square, where we can debate publicly, in all major cities. Ezra has the right idea, with his town hall meetings.

It’s a given that MSM has a Liberal bias. We’ve known that for years. There’s no sense complaining about it and continuously reiterating the fact. Instead we should be strategizing about ways to get the complete truth out there. And I don’t mean covering up for conservatives when they screw up. They have to held accountable like everybody else. But what we need is a strategy to ensure there’s a level playing field, and ALL the facts are made known to the general public, whenever there’s misconduct in ANY Party. Here at the Rebel, we’re mostly preaching to the choir. There are a few dissenting voices to be sure, but most of us tend to lean more to the conservative side, both politically and socially. So how do we ensure that the dirty laundry of all parties is aired in public equally? Obviously MSM is closed to us. Any ideas?

@ Mike Semoff…..Alphonso Gagliano?…well sure I worked with him in the olive oil business….but that was years ago…..besides….a change is as good as an arrest………:-)

BTW, does anyone know the real infamy of Alphonso Gagliano?

There is not enough ink to document the scandals of the Marxists. Their very existence is the biggest.

Dollars to Donuts there will be no focus on the Mac Harb trial as there has been with Duffy. Probably will be no reporting at all!
