Michigan man used hidden gun to SAVE HIS FAMILY from murdering invaders

Victor LaszloRebel Commentator

According to the homeowner, who's Brother I spoke with this morning, there were some important facts not included in the news clip below.

The home invaders did shoot at the homeowner when she was down on her knees, but the gun misfired and as the shell was being ejected, the homeowner managed to get to a firearm he had hidden, and shot back, putting a bullet in the invader's leg.

This took place in Detroit on May 23rd, 2016 sometime in the evening.

Not worried about the criminals. Those guns the americans have are the last defense against totalitarianism. Is this the first time in history the victims of totalitarianism were so well armed?

When I had my – now lapsed – NRA membership I received a monthly magazine called The Rifleman. My favourite section was called ‘Armed Citizen’ which described people defending themselves, families and property, with firearms, from predatory criminals.
Here’s the internet version:

I’ve listened to many interviews with Detroit Police Chief Daniel Craig. Bright, articulate , simply a great leader. Craig doesn’t believe in gun control , actually directly the opposite. He has said many times that the Department cannot respond to every call involving violence within the time needed to protect the citizen. In this case the citizen has every right to act in self defense.
Detroit is improving slowly. But cities with the strongest draconian gun controls like Washington and Chicago are the worst in the nation.
The statist democrats like Clinton want to seize every gun in the nation irrespective of all evidence that gun control creates more crime and homicides rather than diminish it.
Americans need to realize that Hillary will try to pull a Deep River seizure. A vote for her is a vote for your guns to be seized. Tell that to all the Bubbas in Kentucky and Tennessee.

Like they say,
‘If you need protection, call 911. The police will get there in time to clean up your dead body.’

if you shoot someone in canada don’t get the cops involved if you can help it. just cut up the body and get rid of it in a fire somewhere in the bush where no one will ever find it. it’s pretty easy to dispose of a dead body.

If my family is in danger, I will be defending them in what ever way that I can. This law was likely enacted when the liberals were scamming gun owners to register their guns. And at the same time, they were setting up the gun registry, they turned the focus from the victim to the criminal. We were all supposed to feel sorry for the criminal, not the victim. Even victim impact statements are read by the criminal prior to, and if anything hurts their feelings, it’s not allowed to be read in court. I told anyone that would listen, not to ever do what a liberal tells them to do. Defy them at every opportunity.

If this happened in Canada, the victim of the break-in would have charges against him. A perverse view of defending yourself. Something I really don’t want to believe, but the evidence is there when one case after another is reported where defending yourself – even firing into the air or throwing spices at the attacker – gets you before a judge who isn’t sympathetic to your situation.

Sunny Sunni Ways!

FUCK Canadian courts! I’d rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6!! If these kind of “issues” clouds your reasoning – you are truly fucked!!

Henry, very logical assessment. However, the Canadian courts do not see it that way. There are many cases where the victim who defends himself is convicted of a crime.

I was on another website a couple of years back and was reading the comments of American police officers who said they had a saying amongst themselves: “When trouble is only seconds away, the police are minutes away.” In other words, it normally takes several minutes (at least) for the police to respond even to a 911 call. That means it’s entirely possible that they will be too late to prevent a tragedy unless we can defend ourselves, at least until they arrive. There are, of course, many ways to defend oneself but a gun tends to be one of the most effective, especially if the owner knows where it is and how to use it effectively. If we choose not to make any effort to defend ourselves, we have only ourselves to blame. There simply aren’t enough police to put one on every corner.

In Canada, that man defending himself and his family would be convicted to the fullest extent of the law. The Canadian legal system would have made sure that he would have been made an example, an example of what they do not want you to do … to defend yourself and family. That’s a big no-no in Canada.
