Ministerial mandate letters show Prime Minister's office run by environmental radicals

It is becoming clear that Canada did not really elect a Liberal government on October 19th, we elected a climate change government and seem to have elected the World Wildlife Fund to run the country.

Trudeau generally played up the environment but it wasn’t a really big part of his campaign. It was all about the middle class.

Well now his ministerial mandate letters are out and it is all about the middle class and climate change. Every letter mentions climate change.

Immigration. Yep, it’s in there. National Defence, yep. Even National Revenue, the revenue minister.

Gerald Butts, Trudeau’s principal secretary used to head up the World Wildlife Fund and now the Liberals are in power, Butts still has the prince’s ear and that is evident as we read these mandate letters to the ministers.

While every minister is told to deal with climate change, some have more duties than others.

The letter Trudeau sent to carbon tax proponent and minister of natural resources James Gordon Carr may as well have said make sure all the stuff we used to take out of the ground and sell, stays there.

Transport Minister Marc Garneau has been told, in essence, to kill the Northern Gateway pipeline that would take Canadian oil to Asian markets.

Elections have consequences. The consequence to Canadians who elected Trudeau before vetting him, is that we now have a prime minister’s office run by environmental radicals that will take steps to move towards their agenda even if it means hurting the economy, throwing Canadians out of work and putting our natural resources, our industries at a disadvantage compared to our competitors.

The Liberals promised real change, well on this front they are delivering, I really wish they wouldn’t.

there’s not s thing you can do for 4 years. So sit back and watch as the Left destroys our country.Maybe then ( I hope) the people of this country will see the left as they really are. But I’m not holding my breath on this one. They didn’t learn in Ontario and I suspect the Emperor will get re elected 4 years from now

To be real, Gateway was already dead in the water long before Trudeau was elected. Does any know what he says about Energy East?

We’ve got to get these maniacs out of Government!
How can we do it legally before the end of 4 years?

The Liberals brought out a puppet that was charismatic and popular with a younger generation. I’m sure in no part due to his marijuana stance. Yes he even had nice hair. So when he talked in soft tones those people listened to HOW he said things, not WHAT he was saying.

Some will say it is the “elite” are about to destroy things but both sides say that. Fact is there are elite on both sides.

This election went the way it did because people who voted liberal listened but didn’t hear a thing. In one ear and out the other except when they caught catch phrases about certain issues they agreed with and it sounded good to them.

I’m hoping a republican president gets elected in US. One that is harsh enough to tell Justin that it’s time to grow up.

Nobody should be surprised here. As soon as I heard some of Trudeau comments and at the same time learned that Gerald Butts was his chief advisor, I could see all this coming. Normally, The Liberals campaign from the left but govern from the centre-right when they gain power, but never before has the Liberal Party been run by radicals until Kathleen Wynne gained power in Ontario. Now, we have Trudeau federally. The rational among us think he will soften when in power. DREAM ON. Radicals don’t soften. They ram through their policies even though most voters who supported them were of the low information variety.

It starts with low information voters and ends with the biased media. I have raised this before. Somehow, we have to convince the TV Media that we need balanced reporting and comment. With no SUN NEWS any more, there is no small c conservative news and comment on TV.

Good Luck To All over the next 4 years.

Steve McQueen said: “The way to hurt and cripple Trudeau is to stop spending. Halting consumer spending halts tax revenues and forces the government to make cuts.” Well I have curtailed my discretionary spending in a severe way, not necessarily for this reason, more for the coming survival tactics we will all need when Trudope raises taxes on everyone to fund his agenda! The Canadian middle class is about to be financially raped in a manner not seen since the Chretien days of Adscam etc. Lieberals are entitled to their entitlements after all! You heard it here first!

The Laurentian Elites are moving fast to economically cripple Western Canada, in particular Alberta!

Has anybody else checked out the comments on msn concerning our PM ,its hard to believe with hundreds of negative comments and almost no positive ones that he actually got elected.
This is a mainly conservative group so negative comments are to be expected but MSN is far from that its at least a mixed group .He and his policies are very poorly received by a very large majority of commentors.

Climate crap is just a front to raising taxes, creating global taxes and a global government.

Kiss Canadian sovereignty good bye.

The way to hurt and cripple Trudeau is to stop spending. Halting consumer spending halts tax revenues and forces the government to make cuts.

Wynne is going through this in Ontario – Orville Redenbacher has jacked electricity rates ( even though OPG exports electricity below their costs to the USA – can’t shut off nuke plants and can’t store it either ) and consumption is tanking – net result is lower revenues for his Orville Wynne and her band of economic suicide socialists.

There is a special place in hell for those who lead others to their deaths, without a second thought! Leaders will be held to a much higher standard! So take heart, Junior and friends will not need parkas where they will be going!

Absolutely correct Ron, just follow the money.

Brian, “It is becoming clear that Canada did not really elect a Liberal government on October 19th, we elected a climate change government”. Ditto for the Alberta election where it is manifestly clear. Like coup d’états by socialist environmental radicals. Crazy! The “useful idiots”, puppets, who are carried along by this insanity will eventually find out who the real benefactors are. Those puppeteers who are pulling the strings.

“They also paid 1.5 million dollars of OUR money to CBC "
They also paid 150 million dollars of OUR money to CBC

Just a small correction.

History might not be kind to trudope – especially after someone takes a successful run at him when security is not looking

There are enough people in Canada that are ticked – it could happen

This is just the beginning, the Liberal puppets are responding nicely to their Muslim string pullers. Look forward to Social Engineering, be prepared to become a robot, be prepared to become a slave to the political elite and their master, Islam.

Canada used to be one of the best countries in the word and one of the safest places to live in, alas plans are now in motion, to start Canada on it’s downward spiral to infamy. We, the citizens, will be brainwashed into confusion. The sudden change will be unmanageable for some and they will lay to one side, ignored. Unexpected death will become commonplace. All of this, because the Liberal Party of Canada, chose to use the shiny moron, Trudeau Jr, as a figurehead.
They also paid 1.5 million dollars of OUR money to CBC as insurance for the right coverage on the air waves. In addition to this, they sold themselves, and us, to Islam, in exchange for votes. We are caught in a Bay with an onshore Gale.

I hope the Liberal Party will be proud of themselves, in four years time. If they still exist.

With Notley at the helm in Alberta doing the destruction she is doing, and Justin in Ottawa doing the destruction he is doing, I a truly worried about the future of Canada. Not fear mongering, but truth.

Now when Justin sells us out to the UN, we will be required to pay the UN multi-billions per year in CO2 emissions taxes.

Canada is – - – - – (fill in your own explicative)

Even after these bums have been deposed, the bureaucratic Gordian knot they create will take decades if ever for us to unravel, let alone recover from.

Well….here’s your Real Change, ‘middle class’: the economy has been given cancer. Too many people tired of too many oilpatch toys, from oilpatch jobs. Kiss’em all goodbye, along with your employment (unless you can get hired on with OPEC). I’m quite glum, I see unemployment careening towards double digits; of course, it’s all someone else’s fault.

So when Justy says he’s deferring to the experts, he really means activists and environmental special interest groups.

Oh boy, hold on to the rails as the economy comes crashing down.
