That’s wishful thinking on Brian MacDonald’s part… It’s not “bureaucracy”… It’s the fact that Premier Brian Gallant went along with the Greenies who nixed fracking and exploration for the shale oil under their feet – a la Quebec… And, if you don’t have the guts to exploit the natural resources under your feet, but rather prefer to suck Ottawa’s teat, then stay mired in your welfare mentality and keep burping along as you have now for decades… By the way, taxing cheaper beer from Quebec is not going to save you asses…

The Maritimes is a welfare case addicted to government subsidies. They don’t want to work. They don’t want to make the effort to push for self-sufficiency. They’ll do whatever JT says because he’s waving their big fat welfare cheque in front of their faces. There will be NO energy east pipeline.
People living there can’t argue with this statement because EVERY seat went to the Libranos in the last election.
