NDP Courts the Wildrose Vote

Marc PatroneRebel Commentator
NDP leader Rachel Notley says ex-Wildrose supporters are seriously considering voting for her party as they weigh their options for the May 5th vote.
There is a percentage of Albertans who have indicated they'll vote for 'anybody but PC'.

Notley told reporters after a rally in Calgary that in the past, voters unhappy with the PCs thought their only alternative was the Wildrose.

She says that is beginning to change.
"I think there's a lot of folks out there who have been very frustrated with the Conservative record, they were frustrated with the deal that Jim Prentice made with Danielle Smith and the Wildrosers and they're angry. And those people might have been thinking the only option they had was to vote Wildrose and now. I think that now that maybe there's another option and they can vote for the NDP. I think there's just as much likelihood of that happening," says Notley.
The PC strategy following the debate appears to have shifted towards treating this campaign as a two party choice between the Tories and the NDP.

PC leader Jim Prentice's message lately has been that Alberta is not an NDP province while appearing to treat Wildrose leader Brian Jean as an afterthought.

I just hope that voters aren’t nieve enough to think that it was the WR who betrayed them

The NDP would cosey up to Rat Shit, if it could vote. Come to think of it, they already have, if one takes into account their “Weird Religious Friends”

People would have to be idiots, and I don’t believe Albertans are idiots. She should relocate to Ontario. Boy you can see it in her eyes, she wants it bad, and will say anything.

Fortunately, the only poll that matters is the one taken on Election Day. Smith was my MLA; the Wildrose Party is much better without her. We gave her the boot she deserved. As for Wildrose supporters voting NDP, that stupid cow Notley needs to spit out her cud and start paying attention to the real world if she actually believes conservatives would ever in a million years support stupid Socialists.

@joan Abernethy – you know Joan, you’d probably have more fun riding that “forum poll” than talking about it.

Anyone who would consider voting for the Wildrose would never consider voting for the NDP. Those two parties are about as opposite as opposite can be.

Wildrose – pro-business
NDP – anti-business

Wildrose – against raising taxes
NDP – peeing themselves with excitement at the chance to raise taxes

Wildrose – cut government spending
NDP – can’t wait to get their grubby hands on the public purse so they can spend, spend, spend

How can somesone considering Wildrose flip so drastically to vote NDP?

The conservatives are ready to vote for the communist pigs. Makes sense – to a communist pig.

You can court that vote, but there was a reason they were Wildrose supporters to begin with. D Smith may be gone, but I think the Wildrose has a better leader. All the best (you’re a-gonna need it)!
