NDP waste $5M advertising Notley’s partisan “vanity campaign” — Five times worse than Redford

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Commentator

How bad is Rachel Notley? Based on her shameless new ad campaign, she’s five times worse than Alison Redford.

Remember those building Alberta signs that littered the province?

Everywhere a shovel touched the ground or even threatened to touch the ground, Alison Redford had a sign saying ‘Building Alberta’ put up, proudly displaying her name on it. It was eventually revealed that the signs cost way more than they should have - $1 million - because they were rushed for partisan reasons.

It was partisan garbage. And the NDP didn’t like it. Leader at the time, Brian Mason said “we deplore this waste of public money advertising Alison Redford”

Well how ‘bout that?

Times have changed. Albertans are worse off. We have an NDP premier. That NDP premier, Rachel Notley, is spending $5 million dollars to advertise herself or rather she’s spending $5 million dollars to advertise her Climate Leadership Strategy.

That’s the climate leadership strategy that, according to documents leaked to the Calgary Herald, will cost Albertans 15,000 jobs.

Rachel Notley is spending $5 million to try to take the stink off her garbage fire of a carbon tax and the job losses it will cause. This is money Alberta doesn’t have and money the NDP would have condemned anyone else for spending.

So how bad is Rachel Notley? Compared to Alison Redford’s $1 million dollar vanity campaign, she’s five times worse.

Deborah,
The rate nutley is going, we won’t have to wait long until people are begging in the streets.

Driving on my way to work this morning in Calgary, I was blown away by all the business buildings up for sale. You can’t avoid seeing the signs now, because they are everywhere. This is what an NDP government does to our society, with their lies, lies, and more lies, and all their lies are backed by the lying MSM. I think most are fleeing to SK. Let’s just hope that Brad Wall can remain strong, but I see they are preparing to take down Brad too. I hope to see rioting in the streets soon, but I guess we’ll have to wait until everyone in the private sector is begging for food!

Sheila – there is more like 10x 15,000 people without work because of Nutley’s Tyrannical treasonous schemes!! I hope all golf courses put up cardboard cutouts up for people to do target practice with. …& she needs to consider herself fortunate that it is cardboard that people are shooting at!

Brian Mason reminds me of that puppet Kerry in the states. He’s a loud mouth running around doing the dirty work for Queen Rachel. You’d think he’d have a sore back from always bending over for his Marxist master!

$5 million for nothing but an ndp circle jerk. Pathetic!

I suggest that come the next election, Edmonton’s ridings should be reduced to one.

Obviously, the people in Edmonton can’t handle anything responsible, like voting.

This Summer Notley and the the New DemocRATS will hit the BBQ’s and parades. BBQ’s and rodeo parades that are a celebration of our Western Farming and Ranching heritage that the New DemocRATS are trying to destroy along with our oil and gas industry.

As Notley or your New DemocRAT MLA is riding by in a parade or in a public meet and greet we should all give them a chorus of BOOOES and shouts to RESIGN or whatever short insults but remember there are children around so no profanity. Riding through a parade and hearing nothing but BOOOING would help give Notley the picture that Alberta can not stand her New DemocRat government.

And if Trudeau shows up, he should get the same BOOOOing and shouts to RESIGN.

Couldn’t the stasi princess have at least syphoned off enough money from the 5 mil so she could have a face lift. Can you imagine her in three years, K. Wynne the 2nd. Is this the prerequisite socialist-leftist wretch look?

Redford was cow UN leftist lawyer with chubbins the calf in tow

MONGREL: You’ll have better luck finding sasquatch I think. Just wait until the real ugly stuff starts happening, and all the ministers start to become invisible. We are on the bullit train to hell. Help.

And someone PLEASE kick Brian Mason in the nuts with a steel toed boot. He was, is, and always will be a dick wad.

That $5M could have gone a long way to help the unemployed as well as Fort Mac. What a complete waste of taxpayer money to promote her sick climate change agenda. It’s about -65C in Antarctica right now & I guess this can all be attributed to global warming of course.

Gerald here in Alberta it’s Edmonton that swings the leftard vote.

Lol, you guys actually elected that, lol. At least in Ontario , I can blame Toronto for our awesome leadership.
You guys protest voted that in, nice protest.

There’s a more realistic picture of Rachel, with the look of contempt in her eyes. Contempt for the people of AB. That would be a good billboard picture, and write the words across her face.

Here’s what really gets me. An election or two ago in Ontario the conservatives proposed cutting 100,000 jobs from their bloated public sector. Not surprising this proved to be toxic to them and the libs were in. They should have followed the lib handbook of not making something that might be controversial an election issue but just ramming it through after they got elected. Most of these jobs were going to be eliminated after they retired or just given early retirement. Anyway how many jobs have been lost in Ont. under the libs since then. One million? Two? Here in Alberta the Wildrose were poised to get in but then the biased media went to work and found a former pastor now running for the Wildrose who, heaven forbid, still believed in the traditional definition of marriage. Well now we find ourselves in this disaster. So everyone who didn’t vote Wildrose in the last election can at least thank their lucky stars we don’t have any crazy Christian former pastors in the government. I find that to be of no consolation whatsoever.

Albertans need a referendum on this carbon tax scheme.

ROY JEANINE, I agree we need a show of numbers to protest Notley and her New DemocRATS destructive policies that is destroying Alberta. This Summer Notley and her Ministers will be doing the BBQ and parades. We need our signs of protest. Hold their feet to the fire. Make this a long Hot Summer of Hell.

How much longer are we going to sit back and do nothing in Alberta? What more damn things will this evil witch nutbars do before we get up and do something? Good God, we are a bunch of passive, do-nothing-while-nutbar-kicks-us-down. Everyday she comes up with some bad thing against us, the bastards left ndpee news media doesn’t say boo. Man, I hate those milley-mouth followers, I just don’t know how Darryl Janz of leberal ctv can spout this evil government’s garbage with a straight face, and global, and cbc as well. The evil msm is pushing nutley’s destructive agenda which is all meant to kill our jobs and these traitorous msm are fully compliant with this. I am beyond ticked.

Actually, following on some prior comments our premier should be referred to as Allison Notley. Both rich kid, entitled women that are queen bees intolerant of dissent. I think even the invisible energy minister who taught Allison Notley would agree.

You should see the Notley home above the Dunvegan.

Fatal Rachel, like all gluttonous and hedonistic Marxists, do not possess even the slightest inkling of reservation, or guilt, with their outrageously demented and delusional ideology and governance. In fact, they have the gall and are further emboldened with the aid and abetting of the main stream media conspiring with them to be so incredibly sensationalized and willfully contemptuous, now that the disbelief of their egregious behavior has become normalized among the common folk and thus, has paved the way for expedition of action, since they have discovered just how easy it is to deceive decent people who helplessly watch in stunning horror and disbelief. Appeasement and the lack of vigilance has become the millstone around the neck of integrity, freedom and liberty. Relativism is the rapacious and pugnacious malignant cancer stealthily devouring western society from within.

Furthermore, to even think, not yet state, that Fatal Rachel is worse than the self-indulgent cunning Marxist Redford coyote denotes the magnitude of the psychosis and flashes only a sneak preview into the depths of the abyss.

Back in Feb/Mar, the Non-Democratic Party had the ad campaign targeting coal with broad stroke claims about respiratory diseases, the elderly, and the ubiquitous socialist science of climate. I wrote my MLA for the studies that showed Alberta had bad air quality due to coal and that showed that closing down high tech coal generators that scrubbed of all pollutants including the evil carbon will significantly improve the air quality such that Albertans will no longer suffer ill health.

My MLA is the invisible energy minister, and I forgot to use invisible ink. Hence I still await a reply.

I thought Winniezuela was bad but it looks like Notley is loonier than Wynne.

Mike Piesse,

I don’t have the sad duty you have, but do drive for work.

My road report for the last week of driving from Peace River to Grande Prairie, Red Earth, Ft St John and Manning: eleven tractor trailers total most on the FSJ route when in BC. How was it to Drayton for you? Equally uncongested?

One thing I noted on the FSJ route is that the Alberta Wildrose bushes took the invisible energy ministers advice went to BC.

Great job Sheila!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with NDP SUCKS, some former video of the ndp Leader saying it is waste of money would be great.

A glowing example, these people are not worth the amount of air it takes them to form the words that come out of their lying mouths.

As to Nutley, she’s definitely in the lead, at the very least Redford on steroids. And just think she has 3 more years to further perfect the art, something we can all look forward to.

just back from Drayton …had to go up there to lay off more people …tough day.. but hey I have had plenty of practice lately ..It has become very apparent our government intends for our way of life to end and they will do anything in their power to make it happen. So much damage so fast
commented 2016-06-22 18:03:32 -0400
Maybe individual Albertans should start putting up signs with their own view of things, at no cost to the public
commented 2016-06-22 17:41:59 -0400
Sheila. I think you hit the nail on the head when it comes to Brian Mason. Perhaps you can dig up some old video clips of Brian saying one thing as an opponent and now doing the exact opposite while he is in government. He used to get quite a bit of media time when he was the leader of the communists. This could produce some nice juicy sound bites in favour of the Wildrose and maybe get Mason to shut his big fat mouth.
