Terrible, bitter, disappointing news out of Paris today: Charlie Hebdo's new editor says they will no longer publish any Mohammed cartoons.
Well, even then, you could tell a lot of people didn't mean it. If they had they would have been holding Mohammed cartoons at the rallies, not just French flags.
The new editor sounds almost put out by the expectation that he'd continue the magazine's old policy of equal opportunity offensiveness.
But isn't that why people all over the world sent them tens of millions of dollars after the massacre?
He wants the fame, status and money without the risk.
