NEW PragerU video: Lemonade Stand Economics

Rebel Staff

Want to quickly understand the basics of running a business? Then studying your neighborhood lemonade stand is a great place to start.

This new video from PragerU explains:

From supply and demand, to pricing, marketing and the costs of labor and supplies, lemonade stands provide a fundamental, albeit simple, way of understanding how hard it is to make a buck, and how much harder it is when the government takes its cut.

Canadian Economics 101 that were once taught in Russia.
There once was a boy named Justin
Who no one liked or could trust him
For it was easy to see
By those who were free (and had half a brain, were open minded and not bought and paid for)
That he followed his Lib Father’s corruption.
Now Canada it’s said
Soon will be dead
If nothing is done to stop him. (and Clarke BC, Notley AB, Wynne ON, Couillard QC, McNeil NS, Gallant NB, MacLauchlan PEI)
So rise up and scream
Make your dollars supreme
And don’t shop at the stores that protect them. (advertisers on CBC, Air Canada and every other business that supports government owned or supported entities, any company that supports global warming groups or are anti oil, gas, coal or aren’t energy efficient driven, etc, etc)
For now is the time
To stand up to their crimes
Or we’ll all share the blame when it’s over.

And don’t cry about the jobs lost or businesses ruined by not supporting the liberal companies. Those business and their employees are the ones electing these fools. Smart use of our almighty dollar is our only way of surviving this madness. Well, that’s what we read about capitalism before we left Mother Russia. It appears we were lied to.

I wish all our politicians – especially the left-leaning parties – had to have experience running a small business, even just a lemonade stand or a paper route. It seems like most of them have never run even such a tiny enterprise – and it certainly shows when it comes to their economic policies. I still cringe whenever I think back to Sonny Boy and his pronouncements on economics during last year’s election campaign. Still, what can you expect from a trust fund baby who has had everything handed to him?

Most socialists could watch that video over and over and over and still not grasp the facts of that video.

That is why they are socialists … they cannot grasp the reality that surrounds them so they make up their own and then get mad and sometimes violent when every non-socialist does not agree with their made up reality.

Super markets make a profit of one to two cents per product sold? That is amazing! Hard to believe!
Don’t get me wrong…….I am all for free enterprise. But that is very hard to believe.

From time to time I will post some questions just for the fun of it

Who was the first to say " I’M COOKED ON THAT SIDE; TURN ME OVER, AND EAT ME. "

I’ll post the answers at the end of Ezra’s show on Monday.
Just another reason to watch THE REBEL only $8 bucks a month or $80 bucks a year.
The only voice that shines a light on the news and brings you the news the other media won’t. Just think of all the comments you leave FREEDOM OF SPEECH….use it or loose it.

I love Prager U videos. They pretty much stand for normal thinking people.
