No surprise: Notley's NDP spent big bucks to sell job-killing budget

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Commentator

Rachel Notley and her NDP are under fire for spending taxpayer money to promote their attack budget.

They have a new television and online advertising campaign worth over $750,000 to try to sell their massive deficit to regular Albertans who know that deficit and debt can only harm our economy.

Back in 2013, the Redford government spent about a million bucks promoting their budget. Who could forget all the infamous "Building Alberta" signs that were rushed out all over the province (at an inflated cost) to promote the PC’s budget.

At the time those signs popped up, Brian Mason was the leader of the NDP. And he was rightfully opposed to promoting Alison Redford with taxpayer money. Now Brian’s party is in power and the NDP partisans are singing a different tune.

Albertans thought they were voting for change. They’re just getting more of the same.

The NDP budget is a disaster. Over 50,000 are out of work. Investment is fleeing the province.

Ron voss. People forget what happened in Egypt. The us came in to throw out the government to put their choice of power in because they made the people believe the last govenrment was bad and it didn’t take long the Egyptians caught on and then ousted the government the US put in and the Egyptian army commander came in for the people and ousted Americas version of democracy. If we wanna send a message to notley. I say we as albertans maybe start with mayors of towns and cities I for one think we should oust our mayor of Calgary. Start there and then move onto notley. Would anyone be opposed to ousting nenshi the way lybians ousted Gaudhafi. I think we should protest against nenshi. Start a wave nenshi must go. People go look at what has happened at Missouri university the students had the president of campus resign. I’m telling you the masses speak and make a statement and go to city hall and have nenshi removed. Once removed then go to Edmonton and remove mayor there that supports ndp as well.

The NDP uses the people’s tax money to promote public acceptance of the destruction of the economy by the NDP.

Today’s NDP is just a labor-affiliated collection of AGW cultists who have been conned into believing that the planet will be destroyed unless humans give up having a 1st World standard of living. They are out to destroy Canada’s economy in order to save the planet from a phony threat that they have been conned by the UN into believing is real.

I swear, Tommy Douglas is turning over in his grave. He would never have bought into the NDP lunacy of today.

Oh no, we did get a change … like taking a clean diaper off a baby only to put a dirty one on because the child was too quiet.

THE GREAT MYTH OF CLIMATE CHANGE, “Keith Barnes how is option 2 not possible. It happens all over the world.” Consider the mass protests in Egypt in June 2013 that demanded and led to the resignation of president Mohamed Morsi because of his increasing authoritarianism and his pushing through an ideological (Islamist) agenda. Or are Albertans, like most Canadians, too polite?:

Enough is enough. How do we get rid of this NDP problem? They did not get voted in to destroy Alberta, so like anyone else that has a contract and screws up, they get notice and they get fired.
It amazes me that we allow our politicians to be above the law.

Does anybody wanna know why ndp wants the carbon tax aka climate change tax. Is to pay for govenrment spending. Why do you think North America wants a carbon tax. The us and Canada is in debt and if you have a carbon tax then ou take more money out of people’s pockets to pay down debt. Mark my words the moment there is a carbon tax oil prices will rise because if you implement a carbon tax then oil will rise so that governments can make money of the tax. What would be the point of putting a carbon tax in if drilling is down you don’t get a real profit. Does anyone see how the govenrment sin Canada and us are saying climate change is a big thing. So if a big thing then why add a tax to it. Think abt it people. They are blowing smoke up our asses by using climate change as a fake front which isn’t real but with climate change comes carbon taxes. What a sneaky way to tax private sectors and the public to get money to pay off govenrment debt. I’m serious mark my words the moment carbon tax is in oil price will go up so that they can make a profit The writing is on the wall. Do some research and you will see this is simple economics.

Debt is a good thing according to the left, it UMMM , not sure what it is good for?

Kelvin. How abt tent city with farmers tractors and combines and cattle shitting everywhere on the lawn and semis and trucks. And people. Remember the movie maximum overdrive where the semis circled around the gas station. And anyone that tried to leave something happened. Things are too the point now to take action by the thousands Mobs can’t be controlled and the number one thing that the govenrment fears anywhere around the world is the mob. The mob has more influence then government
commented 2015-11-12 18:39:01 -0500
Maybe it’s time for a tent city to spring up at the Ledge. Occupy Alberta

Keith Barnes how is option 2 not possible. It happens all over the world. Is your families future more important. Is not having a home and roof over your families head important. Or is it ok to just move your kids and family around wherever and lose everything we as hard working albertans have fought for to obtain and let notley and her party take it all away from us because she doesn’t want to work with oil or agriculturen or mining or forestry since they shut that down in southern alberta by pincher creek. Do you let some socialist determine your future for your kids and take away everything to possibly be homeless plus take jobs away because they don’t want to help the province. It is obvious they want to destroy alberta. Can you name one thing she wants to help in alberta?

Keith Barnes:
would you rather die fighting or be bled to death slowly and die anyway?
commented 2015-11-12 18:27:23 -0500
Bruce Kirk,
Unfortunately, I suspect that your second option, would cause Notley to call out the KGB.

No Charles mouton. We don’t bring her up on charges Go watch on YouTube what lybians did to Gaudhafi once they got their hands on Gaudhafi. That’s what albertans need to do to notley That’s democracy revolution. Because our stupid voting system isn’t working. The power should be if the people don’t like govenrment they go and run them out the lybians way. That’s alberta some way to make national news plus it sends a message to Trudeau. Canada and America has bullied people to long with no true democracy and it’s time too let them know. Remember cops don’t arrest mops. Take for instance ferguson. Yes we would do damage to our own parliament. But I’m pretty sure albertans would gladly pay taxes to have it rebuilt if it meant getting rid of notley and ndp. Remember the Roman days. They always said the biggest fear any government should have is fear of the mob. Think about it people. Now that we have spoken and just rant and rave it’s time to take action. Hey rebel instead of making a tshirt the republic of alberta. How abt(We The People of Alberta against notley!!!!). should be the slogan.
commented 2015-11-12 18:00:29 -0500
@climate change,

I so agree with you. This Alberta government needs to be taken out and put up for charges. They are living on their own agenda and they are not following the majority of Albertans. They are following the crazies out there that don’t see there noses in front of their faces.

I truthfully believe it is time to start being true conservatives, which means stop helping the low life’s out there and stop allowing people to live off our hard work. I swear once everything is gone it will be us conservatives that build everything again

Kelvin. Catherine Murray is a dead beat person on Bnn. I thinner should call Bnn and have her removed she lies on tv and is part of main stream media. Hey albertans how’s that protest vote working out for us now. It’s amazing remember all those ndp supporters that were in here and saying give ndp a chance. They are pretty silent now. Maybe because their jobs are now being affected. I’m really wanting to hear albertans comments abt the protest vote they did in May. Happy alberta? And yes now ndp is attacking agriculture in alberta. That’s a definite big NO. Notley is no starting to piss everyone off in alberta. Farmers will not take that. Time will come for notley and her party members. I say albertans do to notley what Libyans did to Gaudhafi when they captured him. If you need a refresher look it up on YouTube. That’s how they got rid of him. I think she deserves the same and a little revolution.

There is no way any of this is going to work for Canadian citizens’ at this point in time whether it be Provincial Government or Federal Government!
We the Canadian people absolutely have to push hard to create some Legal Binding Legislation that will allow Canadian citizens’ to create an uncomplicated, non expensive legal instrument to throw out a Government that is in power whether it has been elected by a majority or a minority or – which hopefully never will come to pass a Coalition Government of any kind elected by Constituents or Voters!
Possibly under the condition that industry or Resources by which a Province or Country mines or produces or manufactures cannot be obsoleted, demolished or shut down by the decision or decree of Government or Environmentalists unless 95% of the population of citizens’ of a Province or Country as it is a country or Province in a Democracy that is to be managed by the people or citizens that are in agreement to shut such operation down! For example – one would need Solicitors and Lawyers’ and Legal minds to draw up such an instrument!

Also certain actions against the peoples will by that Government or members of that Government – could be considered a reason to call in such an Impeachment Instrument to remove any in-fractional Government or Government Member or Representative!
I don’t know if such as this could be constructed for example – but I do know we need something like this, if we are going to be able to maintain a Free Country, Free Nation and Free Citizens’ – as it stands now, I am concerned whether we are even going to be able to hold on for in Alberta’s case 3years and 10 or 11 months – in Canada’s case 4 years?

Without an instrument as such for the Canadian people to use to make and encourage their elected Government Representatives’ do the job we elected them to do – we are going to need such an instrument to survive – mark my words!

Anyone as smug as Notley and her children, need a good slap up the head for being so stupid. Imagine killing the economy because you are hypocrite who uses oil, and tells others that they can’t because you don’t like it. Notley = Hypocrite!
commented 2015-11-12 16:31:26 -0500
Notley said that the NDP was working very hard to bring about environment policies before she heads out to Paris (all the while saying that with an air of smugness). She is so hell bent with her so called “climate change” agenda, she will stop at nothing. Farming, ranching, oil producing…..the backbone of Alberta’s economy is not important to Notley, rather what is important is more like destroying all three. She is succeeding with the oil & now starting to attack the farming industry. With Notley at the helm in AB & Justin in Ottawa, we are in good hands. Watch out!!!

Albertan’s have 2 options:
1. directly petitioning ndp ridings to recall mla while simultaneously petitioning notley goverment for recall legislation. with the goal of forcing by-elections and a minority government.
2. province wide civil disobedience until notley and co. are forced into submission
commented 2015-11-12 16:02:23 -0500
Steve McQueen – I would rather have a PST than destroy the economy for the coming generations, by burdening them with unnecessary debt, and ridiculous environmental policies, that kill off our standard of living because of environmental idiocy.

41 handle oil today. Notley can kiss her tax revenue goodbye. Oil should be in the 30s very soon.

This means that Alberta is going to get a provincial sales tax.

Check all the oil parked in ships off the coast of Texas.

The world’s largest glut of oil and the mideast is holding production.

Alberta has been kidnapped and detained. The financial gang raping of Alberta starts soon. The only way to stop a financial rapist like Notley is to end Notley.

The NDP will teach those who voted for them a lesson, or at least I hope they will learn a valuable life lesson, when it comes to politics. If you want to remain an individual, with individual rights, then never vote for a communist government like the NDP. Communists don’t believe that you have any rights, and will do what the state tells you to do. They can take their archaic ideology and burn it, as that is all that it is good for, it certainly isn’t good for humanity!
commented 2015-11-12 15:40:35 -0500
Knot Head Notley is also starting a war on the agricultural community from what we hear farmers will have to obtain an environmental license to plant their crops come next spring. Because rural Alberta gave her the boot in the last election now she will punish the farmers and continue with the raping and plundering of our oil and gas sector. She and the rest of the NDPIGS must resign immediately they are not worthy of being Albertans let alone Canadians, Putin of Russia would be happy to take them as refugees.

Kevin Oleary just made the host on BNN pee her pants a little by calling the Alberta government INCOMPETENT. Of course he is just saying what everyone else with a brain is saying . It was good watching while she( the host) tried to deflect, Oleary kept hammering his point home.
