North Korea sentences Canadian pastor to life in prison; Trudeau, Media Party yawn

Rebel Staff

North Korea has sentenced a Canadian citizen to life in prison, with hard labour: a Canadian pastor of Korean ethnicity named Hyeon Soo Lim.

The charges are a sham.

His crimes include,  “harming the dignity of the supreme leadership” of North Korea, “using religion” and “disseminating negative propaganda."

Well, no. He’s made more than 100 trips to North Korea to "disseminate" food. The place is starving.

Why did North Korea wait until now to sentence Lim? Did they want to test our new prime minister, Justin Trudeau?

Well, Trudeau did speak out. He said he was "very concerned." No demand for Lim's immediate release.

And not a word from people who officially care about things, the Media Party, the virtue-signallers. You know, the ones who went absolutely ape over Mohamed Fahmy and Omar Khadr.

Of course, those two are Muslims, not Christian "do-gooders" like Lim...

Is Trudeau going to defend this pastor? Let’s wait and see, and count on nothing. Somebody has to help this poor man (i mean the pastor also)!

I think we can officially call Junior the “dirty pony” now, as the dullness of his personality shows through. We have an empty headed child, in the seat where an actual leader sat. Junior will bring our country to its knees, and he will brag about it, because he’s a communist tool.

So lefty trolls tell us what your glorious Shiny Pony will do now? Other than nothing of course LMAO!

Ian the pastor was only charged when Harper was in power, they had to wait for proof or lack of it. Sorry to burst your little pathetic bubble. Hey Wayne Rebel , you got your answer now try using your head for a change. Sorry if you got proven to be an idiot once again LMAO. Reality and liberals just do not mix.

well the good pastor is not a member of the death cult, if he was a muslim you could bet the libs and the msm would be all over this story.

Ian, I thought JTurdo brought change and said “Canada is back”. He should be able to pick up the phone and get Kim released instantly. Or is he really just an empty suit? Face it, your Lib hero is a loser. Find a new useless leader to follow you useful dupe.

I commented on this CBC story two days ago:
“North Korea chastises Canada, Trudeau over reaction to jailed pastor”
My comment:
“A good solution to this problem: A swap. We’ll send Justin to North Korea – maybe a bit of hard labour would instill some character and backbone in him – and bring back the Christian pastor – of course we would get the better part of that deal. Imagine pretty boy Justin with a Kim Jong Un haircut swinging a sledge hammer on a rock pile all day…
I wonder when the war on Christians in Canada will escalate to the level of jailing pastors for preaching the Christian Word?
”http://www.ezralevant.com/update-charges-dropped-against-toronto-street-preacher/“>http://www.ezralevant.com/update-charges-dropped-against-toronto-street-preacher/”

The really interesting thing is not that I got two likes, the really interesting this is it hasn’t been Content disabled (censored) – yet!
I have to assume the “ezralevant” in the link scared the anti-Christian-zealot-censors at the CBC into not censoring it – yet…

Wll, or the bigoted Progs and PM Selfie this Canadian is
A) the wrong color
B) the wrong faith
C)the wrong age
D) was doing good and not engaged in warfare against his nation’s allies

He does not qualify as a “victim” which the media and Liberals can make some political milage worth – all he presents is an opportunity to do what is right and required of a government – and we all know that isn’t on the agenda of the current liberal regime.

Libs, what should Trudeau do about Hyeon Soo Lim other than what our government is already doing? Did the prior government issue the “demands” that Ezra is calling for in the ten months that Hyeon was detained? No. What should our current government do differently? Are you certain we’re doing nothing? We have no embassy in North Korea, no diplomatic relations (suspended in 2010), and sanctions were already applied in 2011. We can try to negotiate a release as we did in 2008 in a very similar case, and consular access is our first step, but this will be difficult with no direct diplomatic relations.

Dec 16: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/world/canada-dismayed-at-life-sentence-handed-to-pastor-in-north-korea/article27779189/
“Canada has in the past had diplomatic relations with North Korea. In 2007, Ted Lipman, then ambassador to South Korea, presented his credentials in Pyongyang. He helped negotiate the release, in 2008, of Je Yell Kim, an Edmonton preacher and humanitarian worker.”

Dec 16: http://news.nationalpost.com/news/canada/north-koreas-unduly-harsh-life-sentence-for-canadian-pastor-blasted-by-ottawa-as-serious-violation-of-vienna-convention
“This is a serious violation of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations and the right of states to have consular access to their citizens,” [Diana Khaddaj of the department of Global Affairs] said. “We continue to request consular access and work towards a resolution of his case.”

He is no islamic.

He is not evil.

He dos not stand for the death of anyone outside the cult of islam

So there will be no help from trudeau – may he someday be involved in a serious car accident.

Thank you Ezra for standing up for Christians when nobody else will!

Wayne, Ron and Ian, the triplet useful dupes. Maybe JTurdo can actually pull himself away from his photo shoots and selfies to do something. You do know that he is now PM. Please try to get over Harper, the best PM ever, and start to demand that your emperor with no clothes actually do his job. Maybe you three can go and give the almighty commie leader in North Korea a BJ to help out. It should be right in the lefty playbook.

Despite having a cult of personality, being the current leader of a political dynasty and having notable hair, young trudeau is not going to accomplish anything… (quick chuckle to those who thought the first 19 words was in reference to kim jong un)… the reason is simple. The original “sunny ways” was the failed ideology of appeasing despots in exchange for harmony.
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-korea-north-sunshine-idUSTRE6AH12520101118

Even though ‘sunny ways’ aka ‘sunshine policy’, is a failed ideology, young trudeau is hell-bent on implementing it.

Well J.T. is from Que. and the communist media is from Ont. so this is what you get.

If Hyeon Soo Lim was a reporter…….
commented 2015-12-23 14:02:46 -0500
If Lim was a follower of the Muslim faith, Trudeau would have started WW3.

Justin Trudeau cannot stand being hindered by Christians and the Divinely Inspired Holy Word of God. Therefore he will take every opportunity to destroy Christian morality with his evil, satanic desires and actions. Hence it is no surprise that he will not even try to do something for this Christian Pastor!

Gee no problem getting on Fahmy’s. side He needed the Muslim votes back then!

Nice post Ian Stephens.
Looks like Ezra lied again. And his minions bought it hook, line, and sinker without thinking for themselves. Again.

Send in Deborah Graupner or Brian Kelly. they’ll get him back. Better still, send Levant and his rank megaphone over there. I’m sure that will do the trick.

Thanks for bringing Hyeon Soo Lim up, Ezra, but why only now? He’s been detained in North Korea since February and was sentenced last week, so why hasn’t The Rebel been banging the drum on this every month since the beginning? No pleas to Stephen Harper all this time? No petitions? In the almost 11 months Hyeon Soo Lim has been trapped in North Korea, only this post exists on The Rebel. Sorry Ezra, you’re the one who’s been asleep.

Say what you will about the CBC, The Globe, and The Star, but at least they’ve been reporting on Hyeon Soo Lim almost since day one, and have continued to do so. Here’s a sampling, but there’s much more if you do a site search on the major news sites. Compare to https://www.google.ca/search?q=site:therebel.media+hyeon, which brings up this video, and that’s it.

You won’t hear any uproar from the media or left as Kim is not sexy like those poor Muslim folks. The left only care for a few fleeting seconds when they can show off to the world. This will be shrugged off as they are really uncaring useful dupes. If Harper was PM, the media would be screaming for him to get Kim out. The left media are all scum sucking cowards.
commented 2015-12-23 11:35:28 -0500
I think Kim Jong-Un wants to toy with the newbie PM because he knows that they are like two peas in a pod. They have a lot in common, as both are narcissistic and only care about staring at themselves in mirrors.
commented 2015-12-23 11:24:47 -0500
Trudeau is just another dictator like his father was, both are communist sympathizers with no regard for what the majority wants unless it falls into their own personal agenda.

Let’s give them Junior in exchange for this Pastor!
