Notley NDP reject exemption for children going to school because “your kids want to be taxed”

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Commentator

The NDP are going to carbon tax children going to school. Really.

An amendment to the carbon tax brought forward by Wildrose MLA for Chestermere-Rocky View, Leela Aheer, sought to exempt school bus transportation from the new tax on everything. She was trying to spare rural school boards the hundreds of thousands of additional transportation costs that will be levied upon them.

Her amendment was denied. And the reasoning the NDP used for denying the amendment? Your kids want you to be taxed. Watch my video to see NDP MLA Robyn Luff’s mind boggling statement.

The NDP Government thinks they should be drafting tax policy around the immature minds of our children. Have you ever heard anything so stupid?

There is a reason we don’t let kids vote.

Just what I wanted to hear Ron. Now we can join Oregon as one of the sappiest jurisdictions on the planet. I saw an interview with one of their spokespersons last week. She was talking about their new climate curriculum. It was FRIGHTENING.
So now we can dump millions more $$$ to placate the NDP position on these subjects. I can just imagine the end result and the recommendations and policies that may be adopted then.
RON, I’m about to pursue Wilrose issue, keep you posted.

According to a recent report in The Calgary Herald, Education Minister David Eggen has announced a full-scale project costing $64.4 million over six years to overhaul Alberta’s education curricula that will include topics such as climate change, gender diversity and sexual orientation.

RON VOSS: I’m not sure how Wildrose will correct their STUPID error of a few years ago, but it is paramount if they want my vote. I’ll try to navigate my way up their chain of command and see if I can get some kind of concrete answer and also as to what their policies on this will be moving forward. The called me just the other day for more money, and I’m sure whoever was on the other end still has a sore eardrum. If they can’t address my wishes I may be forced to abstain with my vote. Alberta Tories have become far to red for me, and for me the rest are simply the rest. I’ll inform you if I make any progress.
Federally I would really consider Ambrose for the Conservative leader if she performed like she did the other day, raking Junior over the coals, and if this was ALL the time. I thought her interim thing precludes her from running, but if I’m wrong on that I would sure consider her. She’s from my riding’ and they have definitely been after our money for support, so I would expect a good job from her. Somehow we have to turn the federal mess around or our future will remain bleak, and correcting it may not happen in my life time.
RON, I’ll update you if I get some kind of response from Wildrose.

traveling with a ton of security in Canada indicates a decent into madness. when you think you have become so important that you see threats everywhere, then Elvis has definitely left the building.
Canadians aren’t real big on assassination. perhaps she sees the threats coming from new arrivals from third world shitholes. I couldn’t possibly explain how an insane mind operates…

Cute comment Anonymous but I would suggest you add the word " YET" to your vocabulary.

Look on the bright side. At least Alberta is not forcing the school buses to run on electricity.

The problem Yvette, is that either left wing politicians do not have “common sense”, or, more likely, are trapped by their past mistakes but can’t admit to it at this stage in their lives… Remember the old Chinese proverb: – “The most dangerous part of riding the tiger is trying to dismount…”
commented 2016-06-16 01:05:29 -0400
Are there no left wing politicians including prime ministers, presidents, also private citizens, professors, judges, provincially, nationally or internationally that have any common sense whatsoever? The whole world is now run mostly by these politically correct idiots who want to brainwash everyone who are passive & don’t have a mind of their own.

The ndpees want us to “freeze in the dark” while they and their parasite union buddies are stealing enough from us every payday that they will be shielded from the cost of this abusive, vulgar carbon tax. The union parasites make so much more than a lot of us so they really don’t care what struggles we will have. All these disgusted, destructive bastards want and are entitled to is our hard money, you know, “JUST PAY YOUR TAXES AND SHUT UP.” WE DON’T EXIST OTHERWISE. PURE EVIL NUTLEY, WHEN WILL SHE BE RECKONED WITH, 3 MORE YEARS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

For all intents and purposes , the opposition parties might as well pack up and go home for the next three years. Why maintain the pretence of a functional democratic legislature when Notley is running a banana republic dictatorship.

DAVID WHITE, “As I said on a post last week, Jean and the Wildrose have to rescind and CORRECT that faux pas of a few years ago”. I agree, but how will that happen? Do the grassroots of the party support the current Wildrose position? Set up a petition from party members? Ask the Wildrose to poll its members? ? ?

Real heroic of Motleys crew to dupe a bunch of kids

Good reporting like usual Sheila. I’m sure the children want it, don’t forget a number, and may be a majority, of teachers are spewing this ideology about man-made global warming. So one has to wonder, how many classrooms had a good talk about the NDP tax grab called carbon tax before any type of consensus was taken. Also, I have to ask the dishonourable member how she’s aware that the majority of children want this, couldn’t be the teachers telling her, could it?

Another good example that the people of Alberta just don’t matter to this government, not even the children. On the other hand, I’m sure this doesn’t apply to its teachers there obviously valued to a much greater extent than the children they’re supposed to teach important subjects to, instead of being filled up with political ideologies.

Still talking about children, schools, and teachers, I’m sure this government and its loyal teachers have the best of intentions when it comes to drafting and implementing new curriculum. I’m sure one of the many courses will be how the ndp is the best choice for a governing party. We already know in at least one classroom this is already being taught, somehow I can’t bring myself to believe that it’s just one classroom though.

Talk to your children.
Talk to your grand children.
Talk to your neighbours and friends.
The NDP in Alberta and Liberals in Ontario are brainwashing children at school.

These governments are turning children into confused individuals who do not know what gender they are and that climate change is being caused by their parents. The teachers are also campaigning with their students for their local socialist/communist party. BRAIN WASHING.

RON VOSS: As I said on a post last week, Jean and the Wildrose have to rescind and CORRECT that faux pas of a few years ago. That is step 1, then they must renounce our new little gem announced by Rachael the Wretch, and clearly state their position is to eliminate it when they gain power. I hope this isn’t too much to ask, although for me, Jean is still on probation for the Fildebrandt incident. I hope that sorts itself out soon and successfully.

ELTON BRAUN: Your grandson is a lucky young lad. He has a smart, loving grandfather who also makes very smart, mature posts. At least your grandson stands a chance with you as one of his mentors.

Taxpayers fully fund “their” school boards. Now the NDP want us to further tax “ourselves” for operating “our” boards? When will the madness end?

Exactly right Ron Voss. That was my post David White refers to concerning the indoctrination of my grandson and his fellow students. The pinko disease runs deep and is everywhere. I knew it was bad but never much thought that teachers could be allowed to preach their ideology so blatantly to their gullible students. Logical right wingers are generally the ones who are far too busy trying to make a living, raise their families and make ends meet to have the time to fight back. Also a simple fact is that it’s so over the top that we can’t even comprehend the damage being willfully perpetrated on us. What can we do when they can control the minds of our children as well as the media and the curriculum?. It’s a huge uphill battle. I grew up in Sask but lived through the eighties in Ont until the NDP ruined it and my place of employment went bankrupt. Moving to Alberta in 91 was a no brainer as to me it was the last safe refuge for sane right wingers. It’s so devastating to see how this perfect political storm has led up to put these self serving traitors in charge of completely destroying this province. At a minimum we need to absolutely bombard these politicians with our disgust as well as preach sanity to anyone who will listen.

The leftists understand full well that whoever controls the schools rules. People naively think that there is such a thing as neutrality. The schools have become transmission belts for socialism.

DAVID WHITE, “and Brian Jean better get any thoughts of supporting a carbon tax OUT OF HIS MIND”. How can Wildrose have any credibility standing up to a carbon tax when a few years ago it embraced the notion of man-made global warming? When will Wildrose stand up to this scam?

As much as people want to believe that another march on the Legislature will make a difference, it will not.

Even if the numbers of Albertans, reasonable, concerned, worried people, show up and demonstrate, Notley will go nuts, declare them the enemy, and demand that she be protected from her evil “Anger Machine” fantasies. It maybe that Notley’s mindset is a combination of sociopathology and dementia.

When someone talks about threats from phantoms, it becomes clear that the insane are running the madhouse.

I was convinced Notley was just a stupid socialist/communist dolt. She is somewhat of a bubble head, and the shots are definitely being called from deeper in the slime of the NDP cesspool. Probably fuck head Topps is having his say in the proceedings, look at the EXTREME goofiness of their policies. Notley is smarter than I thought though, the army of security around her is needed, and she KNOWS that.

Dump the usuals

Should come as no surprise to anyone. We just had a topic on the Rebel the other day explaining how one of the poster’s grandchildren was preached at in class by a slimy leftist teacher, and the kids changed their original position and ended up supporting the teacher’s wishes. Saint Suzuki used the same indoctrination pitch with the blessing of the dido riding Queen of Ontario, scaring a bunch of kids with the usual climate lies. We have to revisit our entire educational system, instead of balance and debate , we have things so slanted to the left that the kids have only one way to fall. That would be into the cesspool of the left. Our universities are a mess. NDP SUCKS tells it like it is.

EGIL LOMELAND: I’m with you, and Brian Jean better get any thoughts of supporting a carbon tax OUT OF HIS MIND.

KEITH RICHARDS: I enjoy your posts, and don’t mind the ones that are even a bit more colorful than some people care for. But as other posters have stated, please refrain from implying that all Albertans or all Canadians are responsible for the mess we are in. Maybe include percentages or numbers when ranting on the stupid voters. When you (justifiably) comment the way you do, I look around and almost feel guilty, then realize I can’t be who you’re talking about because I could never vote THAT way. Please don’t take this the wrong way. In fact we could easily be 2 peas out of the same pod. By the way, was Maggie any good in the sack.

CANADIAN MONGREL: If you are ever lucky enough to locate that invisible bitch, you should strap her to the exhaust pipe of your rig and give her a taste of carbon on about a 100 mile run. Mongrel, keep typing, you are always good for a couple chuckles a day, and I definitely need them.

@ Daryl Herman
If it’s going to take us marching on the legislature, ( I’d prefer marching on the heads ) protests, sit-ins, or a general strike you can count me in! I’ve had enough of their antics.

I hear you buddy. It’s just a damn shame that someone born and raised here who had built so much in his community, built equipment for O&G and Ag businesses and paid his share of taxes now would now have to pack up his family, sell his place (probably at a loss) and move just to survive.
It’s what I had to do 24 years ago when the ndp Fucked the Ontario manufacturing sector.

PG – The Anger Machine needs to fire up NOW!! – actions need to be taken NOW!

The other day a local Bailiff told me that Nutley as premier of Alberta has 24 / 7 RCMP security NEVER in Alberta’s history has a premier had so many RCMP tied up in personal security! Who the hell is paying for this? Add all the other “Fantasy” shit these Tyrants are blowing OUR money on – with all the 10s of thousands of lost jobs – where the hell is all that $$ going to come from?
Autistic children have more logic & reasoning than the group of thieves in Alberta’s legislature.
What the hell is the opposition doing???

NDP SUCKS “It is just like the communists to brain wash young people and then say the people want what the government is offering.”

Yes! And just wait until the NDP goes through with its “aggressive curriculum review.” Think the brainwashing at schools is bad now?! My kids told me that during the last provincial election, some of their teachers were campaigning for the NDP during class time. The ATA and the NDP are working in conjunction to spread their socialist message to a captive audience (our vulnerable, gullible kids), and we get to foot the bill.

I hope the NDP are right that the kids want to be taxed. The way the federal and provincial gov’ts are borrowing, they are sure going to get what they want. For a long, long time…
