Notley appointee's “green” group wages war on “cheap” clothing

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Commentator

It’s back to school time, one of the most expensive times of the year to be a parent. With school supplies, school fees and school clothes, it can add up to well over a thousand dollars for the average Alberta family.

And environmentalists want to make it even more expensive for Alberta families. Really. These people never stop.

Watch my video to see what the environmental group, Stand, thinks about the cost of clothing.

Why should we care what the kooks at Stand think? The head kook at Stand, Karen Mahon, sits on the Oilsands Advisory Group, appointed by Rachel Notley to decide the future of the oilsands.

If Karen Mahon thinks your t-shirt needs a carbon tax, imagine what she thinks about developing the oilsands?

And if Rachel Notley really cared about jumpstarting oilsands development, she wouldn't appoint the craziest of the “no to everything crowd” to her oilsands panel.

Cameron – please stop breathing. You’re emitting CO2 that plants need to live. You’re the problem and will be taxed accordingly by Herr Rachel and her beasts of burden. Just hold your breath and stop emitting plant food. There, now you’ve complied to Rachel and her ridiculous ideology. Hopefully you don’t suffer brain damage for the lack of oxygen.

CAMERON… Might I suggest you clear the residing pakalolo fumes before you post?… “yawning” is a dead give away, and faulty English syntax as well…

Yawn. Not even a real post.
Just another bad attempt to hack the Ndp party. Before any post os read change the name to PC/wild rose and see if you fight for Notley. If you agree the. This rebel news it total garbage. It was good when it first started. Today It stinks worse than new yorks garbage.

Hang in there DREW W.

Stephen E: That was rather depressing, and probably where we are headed.

Stephen…at night, when photosynthesis cannot occur, green plants give off CO2…so you CAN tax them!

Beer production and consumption cause CO2. Tax that.

Hard spirit production causes CO2. Tax that.

Carbonated drinks release CO2. Tax that.

Livestock breath out CO2. Tax that.

People breath out CO2. Tax that.

Decaying vegetation releases CO2. Tax that.

Perrier water and other sparkling drinks release CO2. Tax that.

Trees and crops absorb CO2. You are still going to CO2 tax that.

Dead bodies release CO2. Tax that.

Producing and printing thousand page budgets release CO2. Tax that.

Melting glaciers release CO2. Tax that.

The planet releases CO2. Tax that.

What the heck. Tax everything, and then tax the tax.

Dear Rachel: I was released form hospital today, i needed emergency hernia surgery due to a potential life threatening bowel blockage. I have had 3 previous surgeries 2 of which were for hernias , this was a previous repair that had broken through. All 3 previous surgeries were non urgent and happened when the Conservatives were in power. The longest took one 3 months and 1 week to be done from the time i first saw my doctor about the problem and that was because i pushed it ahead 2 weeks as i was out of town working. I saw my doctor for this one over 4 months ago and finally was able to get a consult with the overwhelmed surgeon final 2 weeks ago and was put on the urgent list which was projected to be 3 months rather than the non urgent 6 , so either 7 or 10 months for the same day surgery as i had gotten in the past in less than half the time. So please i ask you or any of the socialists who support you-“What was that almost 11 billion in deficit spent on?” other than on your cronies i mean. You cut forest firefighting spending and let waterbombers sit idle and people suffered , and yet i hear how you are the government of the people?? Well i am a person , Alberta born and raised, why are we going into massive debt to have longer wait times and why am i sitting in pain waiting? You also claim to hate rich people getting richer then you borrow and this year alone Alberta will have to pay over 1 billion to rich people for debt servicing rather than that money being spent on Albertans.
Unlike you Rachel i cannot jump the Queue or afford to go down to the US to have it done privately as i have no doubt you would do without hesitation like Jack Layton did.

I personally believe that it is entirely coincidental that Notley seems to come up with these kooks she has working for her. I also believe that the CBC has a policy of carrying fair and unbiased news representitive of the majority of Canadians. I also believe that Adolph would be historically reveared if only he hadn’t decided to go into the gas business. (I’m not crazy. My mother had me tested.).

The left is finally beginning to realize how intricately intertwined the “petroleum” industry is with the goods we need to clothing, shelter, transportation, entertainment, etc. So, that provides them with the “excuse” needed to tax these goods to extinction. Should call it an “extinction” tax, because at the rate they are being applied, mankind will be extinct because we cannot afford them. Better yet, mankind will become extinct because our basic unit of survival is our building block – CARBON! Without carbon, all life ceases to exist. So, Canadian sheepie, you are okay with taxing and hastening your own extinction! When a species allows itself to willingly become extinct, what does that tell you about the intelligence of that species?

The amazing thing about sociopaths like Notley is that their level of awareness of their surroundings is completely skewed toward favouring their manufactured reality, a reality where they are always right, always just, and always perfect. Right now, there are a lot of hangers-on who protect Notley and her made up reality. They routinely nod every time she speaks, agree with everything she says, and constantly proclaim her magnificence to her pleased ears. This is what madness looks like, and it’s capable of anything.

Nutley said today that her government might have to “re-calibrate” their budget.
YOU THINK SO?
Nutley stated that if not for the Fort Mac fire the budget would be sitten’ near forecast. Well ya dolt. You removed fire fighting dollars from the budget to make it appear more “friendly” to Albertans. Well guess what, we want you out of their. 2years 8mos months to go.

The dippers are getting desperate for moneys to finance their fictional fairy tale agenda , so everything that is manufactured is a target of additional so called carbon taxes

You may have heard of them in legendary tales about PEI’s rural poverty, but I have actually seen examples….t-shirts for kids made from burlap potato bags.

Zoolander better hurry up and make hemp fibre more available….but his current plan of just taking over the action of the Montreal Rock Machine at current black market price is not likely to do that.
