A former co-worker of Orlando terrorist Omar Mateen says he complained to his employer that he was making homophobic and racist comments, but nothing was done because Mateen was a Muslim.
Florida Today reports that Daniel Gilroy, a former Fort Pierce police officer who once worked with 29-year-old Omar Mateen, says the jihadist was “unhinged” an “unstable”.
Gilroy quit his job after Mateen began “stalking him” after he complained about his racist and homophobic comments.

Allegedly Mateen sent Gilroy 20-30 messages a day and 13-15 phone calls.
“I quit because everything he said was toxic,” Gilroy said. “...the company wouldn't do anything. This guy was unhinged and unstable. He talked of killing people.”
