Foiled: Pakistani man allegedly plotted to attack U.S. consulate, other Toronto targets

Marissa SemkiwRebel Commentator

Today an ISIS-inspired Pakistani man was charged with allegedly plotting to bomb targets in Toronto, including the U.S. Consulate on University Avenue, and buildings in the financial district.

Jhanzab Malik came to Canada in 2004 as a student, and had reportedly attended terrorist training camps in Libya.

I review many of the other foiled Muslim terror plots focused on Canadian targets.

I also point out that the Globe & Mail and the CBC are still going to almost comical lengths to avoid mentioning the Islamic inspiration for these planned attacks:

Look up the term Palestinian scarf on GOOGLE and select images….see anything familiar? Same one as worn by the mentally deranged lone wolf who attacked Parliament for no good reason that the politically correct can imagine….except perhaps that he was “homeless” (but then again so was the Buddha).

That fashion statement scarf is as much a uniform as the red and white checkered scarves that were worn by the Khymer Rouge.

Great job of presenting the truth, Marrissa

I find it very odd that all the Canadian News Services ran this story but all of the U.S. News feeds totally avoided making any mention of it . But they all mentioned the poor Canadian woman who was killed by a whale in Mexico , I guess bombing a U.S. Embassy is not news worthy to them any more.

Well said Marissa , the Globe and CBC are no more than cheap toilet paper

I often do a quick scan of the msm just to keep up with what the consensus media are up to. I wish to report that the jihadist-sympathizing is reaching galling new lows. Today’s TO Star features three terrorist-friendly items on it’s online landing page. One is entitled “Ahmed Abassi a Via Rail terrorist-in-waiting, or just a talker?” Poor Ahmed was caught blabbering, among other things, killing hundreds of thousands of Americans by putting poison in the water supply, but hey, he was just talking about it. Poor Ahmed was deported by the Americans to his native Tunisia where he’s been living in relative obscurity until the Star came along. The feature-length report seems to beg the question, what’s the big deal? Talking about it never leads to actually doing it. Then there’s video of Rick Salutin, the old fossil himself, ruminating about how politicians should be listening, like I mean really listening, to Mike Zehab Bibeau’s video message. Then there’s an editorial faulting PM Harper for “invoking” the Holocaust to spread fear about Islamic terrorists, which is strangely juxtaposed against an opinion piece lauding Le Bebe Trudeau of his recent “Welcome call for an end to fear-mongering” where, by the way, he also “invoked” the Holocaust but that was not mentioned.

In constrast the Star’s report on the story that is the subject of this item on the Rebel is brief, describes the wannabe bomber Jahanzeb Malik, as a “Pakistani-born father”and focuses mostly on his fight against deportation. Poor guy, he was just talking about it too. I take some solace in a recent announcement that the falling Star is removing its paywall, a sure sign that the customers aren’t lining up for their daily dose of jihadist whining.

Great reporting Marissa! I think those paying attention fully understand the threat. There will always be thoee who cannot see the forest for the trees. Is it our duty to continually point out their flawed logic?

Get in there JT and find out the root cause – such a dim witted phony.

The man is just misunderstood. If we would just admit that we in the west are evil, that Islam is peaceful, that husbands should be allowed to beat their wives, that rape victims should be stoned to death for adultery, that FGM is a good thing, and that anyone who insults Mohammad should be beheaded, we’d all get along just fine! I don’t see what the problem is here. Our bad! No wonder they want to kill us all. What this Pakistani man really needs is a nice big hug from Trudeau and Mulcair, and for the rest of us to apologize and tell him we understand.

Good report Marissa. This latest mishandling of the reporting by the MSM of a planned terrorist attack by yet another Muslim extremist, underlines in indelible red ink the absolute necessity of bloqs like the Rebel to get the truth out to ordinary Canadians. Keep up the good work.

Good report, but who keeps making Marissa record out in the cold wind and traffic? I’m worried for her. C’mon Ezra you slave driver, crowdfund a flat screen with a street scene playing on it, and hang it on that brick wall inside for a backdrop, and let her sit on a TV stool (okay, crowdfund that too) to give her reports. She’s worth it! And that goes for everyone else at TheRebel too. So there, Nya.

The Rebel is so good at getting the news out without watering it down…….The cbc sucks….Time for it to leave the tax payers nest and make it on it’s own……

Deport him to ISIS-land. Odds are good he won’t be back.

Probably felt marginalized because the Kafurs wont submit and pay the Jizyah. Some council from Mr. Trudeau and a hug should alleviate the situation. Nothing to see here.

This nonsense isn’t going away. We have to deal with it.

Then there is that Calgary imam from Somalia wanted on rape charges in the US. He has refugee status here, is telling women they must drop whatever they are doing and obey the man’s sex demands no matter when, no matter where. And he is telling his faithful they must choose Calgary or Islam but not both. Because they are incompatible. Scary.

MSM is afraid of the truth.
