Panama Papers: Beyond the media spin, what’s this story REALLY about?

Faith GoldyRebel Host

Not long after the so-called Panama Papers story broke, the mainstream media's narrative became locked into place: A lot of rich and powerful people were hiding money in offshore tax havens.

But some of this reporting just doesn't add up.

Why, for example, do journalists keep bringing up Vladimir Putin when his name doesn't appear once in these thousands of leaked documents...?

D MARY, he operates partially in the open. Some parts of his “business” are way to dirty to do in the open. He certainly does need to hide certain things (even though he’s not very successful in that).

Valerie, Putin operates right out in the open and doesn’t need to hide anything.

Something to ponder, is this simply another attack on leaders opposed to Soros? And why are Soros funded news sources not covering this? I do agree however if you are sheltering money to avoid taxes, you should be indicted to the full extent. Now that this has been exposed the whole truth may come out eventually, but so far we have only been told what the globalists want us to hear.

DREW WAKARIUK, if you’re really interested in the issue (“why would Putin need to dodge western taxes moron?”, “Please show us where Putins name comes up if you can.”), you can really find answers yourself.
1. Putin has extensive connections with Mafia (generally, Russian mafia and KGB are two parts of the same entity that rules Russia currently). It means some money should go to certain places.
2. You know, normally people who don’t want their crimes to be revealed try not to identify themselves. Murderers usually don’t leave business cards after committing the murder. Corrupt politics don’t use their own names when working with dirty money.

There is a great documentary on Putin’s criminal history, but I’m not sure if there are good English subtitles for it (the video is in Russian).

Frank, have you browsed the millions of docs? And what taxes would Putin need to hide his money from? He is not in the west. You get more delusional by the minute.

Getting way out of your depth.
Has anyone in this outfit browsed through the 11.5 million documents that 400 actual news people have examined for the past year?
Has anyone associated with this outfit had a chance to refute allegations swirling around the Russian dictator? Hey, there’s an angle. Is Vlad the new Stalin or is he more a Comrade in the Khrushchev sense.
Guess the 63-year-old homosexual will be defeated prior to his 64th birthday this autumn.

Why the hell would Putin have to send his money offshore in the first place? I am not a huge Putin fan, but he would have little reason to hide his money, nor if i were him would i trust the offshore countries with it.. The media party is full of crap as usual.
