Will Paul Bernardo's book land him a Maclean's cover story?

Rebel Staff

Look out Omar Khadr — you have a rival murderer who is vying for the title of media darling!

That’s right — Paul Bernardo, the serial killer and rapist, has written a 631-page novel, called A MAD World Order, and is selling it on Amazon.

Paul Bernardo is a sadist — he enjoyed torturing and murdering people.

Omar Khadr, same thing — he told guards at Guantanamo Bay that the best day of his life was when he murdered  U.S. Army Medic Christopher Speer.

The Remembrance Day edition of Maclean’s magazine put a smiling picture of Omar Khadr on the cover of their magazine.

Why not Bernardo next? If they’re the full-time PR team for a terrorist, why wouldn’t they be for a regular murderer?

READ The Enemy Within: Terror, Lies, and the Whitewashing of Omar Khadr, Ezra Levant’s new book about domestic terrorism and radicalization.

Muslim terrorist Omar Khadr is free on bail. The media and his left wing fans are cheering --

Are you from Canada Michael? We’re soft on crime in this country, there isn’t “millions needlessly in jail”.
I agree with getting your news from a wide variety of places, though the Rebel is my favourite.

You might want to change your name btw. Like seriously, do you want ppl thinking you’re THAT Michael Mann, the one responsible for the biggest hoax perpetrated in the history of man?? (or is that – history of Mann) lol

I suspect that within the decade, some progressive parole board will let him out.

Michael Mann millions in jail needlessly? Are you for real? THis is Canada we have murderers out running free.
commented 2015-11-13 22:43:57 -0500
Michael Mann the left wing media lies and hides and deflects on a much higher level than the right wing media. There is no comparison between the 2 in that department. I can show you liberal media lies, show me some lies form the right wing media

Don’t give them any ideas.

Peter,

When did I say anything about lying? You seem to have a problem with people who don’t share your exact view.

The right wing media is no better or worse than the left wing media. Seems to be the intelligent decision to get your news and information from all sources, so that you are completely covered and can make up your own mind.

What’s wrong with that?
commented 2015-11-13 15:59:27 -0500
Peter,

Well not everyone in jail is Paul Bernardo and millions of people are in jail needlessly, so I am not against someone making a buck if they want to write a book about wizards.

Michael, regardless of your intentional misconception of theRebel, you are right on one thing … I guess you have to trip over being right once in a while … and that is “Better to get your news from all sources and then make up your mind.”

It is always good to go to many sources, because the leftwing sources are even more biased liars that you pretend that theRebel is.
commented 2015-11-13 15:41:15 -0500
Yes, Michael, you are right. Jail is club med. Room and board paid, free TV, free Internet, free psychological counseling, free education, write your own book if inclined, and much more.

Wallace,

The right media are just as ignorant. Better to get your news from all sources and then make up your mind.
commented 2015-11-13 15:13:08 -0500
I’m pretty much finished with hard copy magazines and newspapers and television news. My sources are 90% internet based such as “The Rebel”. I don’t need the aggravation of the ignorant left.

The law is quite clear. If you are in jail, you can still make a profit from a book for example as long as it has nothing to do with your case.
commented 2015-11-13 14:36:43 -0500
Forgive me, but I’m including my email response to EDWARD PRUTSCHI and his Toronto Sun article: “No law to stop Paul Bernardo from profiting on his novel” as my post, since there are NO Comments at the SUN:

“It’s too bad the Sun did the BIG-CENSOR and nixed the Comments section…
Since I feel that Bernardo should be executed by the state – a public hanging seems appropriate – I was surprised to conclude this article by agreeing that he should be allowed to publish a fiction whatever. That the ‘lien’ on Bernardo from his victim’s families is correct, and since there are many ‘people’ out there in our fallen society who would be ‘entertained’ by anything written by this demonic sub-human, I’m all for a free market and free speech. As long as the POS living the good life at taxpayers expense is still breathing, he should get NO benefit of any kind.
I include Homolka in that too…”

Standing with Voltaire is a bitch…

And what’s with this link?

Of course it is an attack on Macleans. This left wing pulp is fit for the Out House only.

Steve,

Macleans probably needs to put Bernardo on the cover to keep their head above water.

This seems to be more of an excuse to attack Macleans in general over outrage that Bernardo wrote a book.

Perhaps – but like any other industry, media has a rumor mill – and if macleans.ca has invested to publish a “bernardo edition” it makes them look like bigger assholes than they already are.

If macleans.ca is ready to go with publishing bernardo and cancels, this costs them plenty and may include firings which would cost macleans.ca even more.

In short, Ezra is right to make this segment – macleans.ca gets to put on display what they are really all about – a socialist terrorist loving agenda.

Carla, my point as well.

Every media outlet that runs his image/this story, gains this vile monster exactly what he wanted: publicity for his book. That includes The Rebel.

How can this convicted murderer even be alive today? Prisons are very dangerous places.
commented 2015-11-13 13:15:44 -0500
The thing is – his gal pal was even worse than him – she is out and married with kids

Hardly seems right
commented 2015-11-13 13:14:35 -0500
How does a convicted murderer get to publish a book? Why was this allowed? What happens to the Money garnered from the sale of the book?
I just can’t believe that this could happen, or that it would be allowed. Did he not lose all rights and privileges when he was convicted? How does this make the families of his victims feel, that he is now a published author?
Unbelievable!
commented 2015-11-13 13:11:06 -0500
It was enough to get the Rebel to put his likeness on your site. If he doesn’t get one shred of publicity , he fails.
commented 2015-11-13 13:10:43 -0500
I don’t know that we should be advertising for that piece of subhuman excrement. His name should never be uttered and his face never seen.

Its different with Omar, he is freshly on our streets and being pushed in our faces, there may yet be something we can do to put him back where he belongs, but its a waiting game at the moment.

This other toxic waste should remain buried, locked away, and never be spoken of. You don’t think he won’t love this?
