Media silent as PM skips Premiers' meeting: Trudeau abandons “collaborative federalism” over carbon tax

Brian LilleyRebel Co-Founder

Do you remember way back before the “enlightened” Trudeau era last year when Stephen Harper wouldn’t go to Premier’s meetings to listen to their demands for more money? The media told us Harper was rude.

Justin Trudeau agreed and loved to fan the flames about Harper’s lack of regard for our Premiers, but guess what? They’re meeting right now in Whitehorse and Justin’s not there.

He was invited of course but some of them want to express their opposition to a carbon tax and suddenly, Trudeau doesn’t believe in the collaborative federalism he accused Stephen Harper of not supporting.

That’s because, as Justin told the media, he wants a strong price on carbon and if the Premier’s won’t put one on, he will.

This is bad enough but the real story here is that there’s no media hullabaloo about Justin strong-arming the Premiers and skipping out on the meeting.

Unfortunately, I don’t see this lack of media honesty during the enlightened Trudeau era changing any time soon.

Jay Kelly – liar – cheat – claims to have served in the Canadian military. I think that might actually be illegal – but that would not stop the troll from trolling.

The best part?

Jay Kelly is absolutely MORE trustworthy than justin trudeau.

Says a lot about Canada doesn’t it.

Jay Kelly

I know you’re a liberal, and as such are unable to make an unbiased or take a non partisan position.

The point of the article was that how Harper was crucified in the media when he missed any meetings of provincial leaders, yet when Trudeau does it, it’s ok and defended.

The point, my simple friend, is exposing the glaring hypocrisy of Trudeau and his pathetic partisan supporters, like you.

Jay Kelly: What part of “He was invited of course” did you NOT understand? Mr. Lilley is addressing the issue of the “hypocrisy and double standard” that the media party is displaying with regards to Mr. Trudeau’s absence at the meeting! The media and Mr. Trudeau, himself, excoriated Mr. Harper when he did not attend a premiers’ conference, but they are strangely silent when it comes to Mr. Trudeau. Can you understand that, as I have tried to express it in simpler terms?

I would imagine that Mr. Trudeau and his sheep will have a good excuse to explain away his absence, such as “We shipped all the parkas to Syrian refugees for the upcoming winter, and there were none left for him and his family to wear.” or “It’s 2016, you know.” or “He was scheduled for an appointment with his hairdresser.”, or "The batteries died in his cell phone and he was not able to take any “selfies”, or “He was on board the Greenpeace ship carrying solar panels to a village in the far north.”, or “He was busy hatching Pokemon eggs.” Whatever the excuse, Canadian sheep will swallow it hook, line, and sinker!

Gotta feel for Wall, being the only adult at the meeting must have been pretty challenging.

Jay Kelly , they are pointing out media party hypocrisy , and as usual it goes way over your head.

The Rebel should ask : “Was Trudeau invited to the Premiers’ meeting?”

He was not invited because he is not a premier.

Next, the Rebel should asked if Justin Trudeau should have been invited to the meeting. It is a fair question. The Premiers have important matters to discuss, but Trudeau is the top national leader.

Should Trudeau have been part of the First Ministers’ Conference?

The Rebel should muster up the courage to ask and answer the question.

Now that the Emperor has ascended to the throne, the underlings will be given some rope to play by themselves from time to time. “Over Lord” Butts will indirectly orchestrate proceedings while your glory, King Justin sits on high. Meanwhile Princess Hasnobrains mans the “juicer” at Camelot (24 Sussex Drive), while the nannies raise the kids. WTF

My God. Don’t they all look Proud. ? We vote and this is what we get. Nice outfit Rachel. You look absolutely stunning Kathleen. The rest of YOU. Whom cares . All you can do is regurgitate bullshit and figure out new ways to Tax ‘Mom and Pop’ people that work at private business and then buy votes from Big Business and Unions . SMILE !—— You Low Lifes.

Did anyone bother to set Baby Doc Trudeau’s teddy bear alarm clock to get him up for this meeting? Did his boss, Butts, tell him that he can go to this meeting?

Now, someone please explain to Baby Doc that “carbon pricing” is actually a carbon tax. Well, someone other than Butts. After all, Butts really, really, really wants a carbon tax and the cessation of all oil related drilling, transport, heating, et cetera. Baby Doc just knows how to smile, squeeze his Missus’ butt in public, and spout meaningless but quotable nonsense (Sunny ways; Because it is 2015 (2016, 2017 – and he can count to twenty-one without taking off his shoes or dropping his pants).

Papa Doc must be spinning in his grave from the embarrassment of fathering such a blank faced dolt. In Quebec, the permanently stupid of a rich family would be sent to the clergy while the intelligent were sent to medical or law school. Makes you sort of wish for the good old days. Sigh…

The Prime Front-man, as a great admirer of the “basic dictatorship,” is just following the orders of his Principal Secretary. Not enough between his ears to do anything else.
If Butts jumped off a cliff, Junior would lead the other Libs behind him, like lemmings.

Media honesty, enlightened Trudeau era? Would the word oxymoron be appropriate?
commented 2016-07-22 17:11:57 -0400
Guess the Premiers are not behaving as one should, says the guy who ‘admires the basic dictatorship of China’.
Well, says that same guy “in that case I will not attend but you will do as I say or else”.

There should be some kind of basic and objective intelligence test before one is allowed to vote in Canada.
commented 2016-07-22 16:48:36 -0400
Considerably less than half of the Canadian population voted for him, Steve Hicken. Although, I must agree that so many Canadians have a heart-throb (as opposed to an objective intellectual understanding) for the tyrant in pretty-boy clothing.

I really dont give a rats ass anymore .the canadian people voted for him , have fun

Fortunately the millenials who voted this moron/buffoon in, are dying off thanks to natural selection, mostly Pokemon Go related accidents.

Come on guys. Give Justin a break. He was just in Calgary and was put through his paces by flipping pancakes, working hard through his cowboy qualifications and now you want to nickel and dime the guy? You Rebel people are ruthless, especially Brian Lilley who can be a real hard ass. Justin did not go to Whitehorse because Sophie told him that he needs to stay home more with the kids. Can’t you understand that? Jeesh, back off for once, will ya! Hey, the media deserve a holiday too you know. You guys need to mellow out and chillax. Besides, do you really think Justin had anything substantive to add to the meeting? Thank about it.

The MSM will not abandon Junior no matter what he does. They spent ten years demonizing Harper. They will spend at least the next ten trying to make Junior look like the second coming errr maybe the third coming, I forgot about Obama.

Shame on the mainstream media. Tyrants have always used the media for their despotic voices.
Absolute damnation to Justin Trudeau — SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS!

Like the old saying goes WHATS GOOD FOR THE GOOSE IS NOT GOOD FOR THE GANDER, in other words let’s KILL THE GOOSE THAT LAYS THE GOLDEN EGG. Proverb. To destroy something that is profitable to you or in other words what may not be good for one person is not necessarily good for another person. DUH! You might say and also say that, that is quite evident to those with any bit of common sense. Yet it seems that when it comes to operating a system and it DOSENT matter what the system common sense is missing. So just because in Trudopes mind of minds he thinks we have to all fall in to line because he thinks he is right and he has the power over us, WE HAVE A CHOICE, we live in a free democracy, he was voted into his position to lead this COUNTRY for the PEOPLE, by the PEOPLE, not as a DICTATOR but as the PM of this Country and he needs to realize that and stop trying to DICTATE his rules of engagement upon us.

You think that’s bad, you should see the map of canada hanging in his office – Canada ends in the east at the border of Laval-sur-le-Lac and in the west at the border of Rosedale – all the land outside those narrow borders is marked “hostile territory” and believed to be inhabited by anti-marxist wild unpacified peoples.

All hail the grand poobah of stupid, arrogant and self-centeredness.
