“A Suggestion” Albertans.. There may be no “Recall Law” on the books that shouldn’t stop you from going vocal and public in seeking one… Anything that stirs the pot is welcome and keeps the Alberta news media working rather than drinking beer and doing high-fives at the Press Club…

Bill Elder—-also todays news—Brad Wall’s Gov’t is suing Federal Gov’t over new Carbon Tax Law . Wall didn’t say, Gee no recall law , so I can’t sue Feds.

Bill Elder——Do you need a special recall law or legislation ? All a Province is doing is suing the Gov’t for not telling the truth in order to get elected. In this case it is certain the NDP would not have gotten elected if they told the citizens that they were going to receive a new 5or 6% tax.
Todays news for example shows that Scot Walker has won his recall case in Wisconsin. I am positive that The Fathers Of The United States Constitution never even thought of recall in the 17th century. All Alberta would be doing is suing the NDP to do what they said they would do to get elected.

It seems that there are legal channels that are open that interested parties could pursue to force the liberals and the NDP not just to reconsider but to remove this unfair and illegal tax..

Alberta has no recall legislation, so all the dolts that voted for these commie hacks is just going to have to bend over a little deeper to get the government they deserve.

Alberta?

I bet most people in Canada are against this tax.

Heck – the dyke that runs Ontaaaaario is planning to put a provincial tax on that tax when it hits Ontaaario.

Alberta can do something about this tax as a precedent was set in BC a few years ago, when Premier Campbell shortly after being re-elected gave us the GST and Prov. Sales Tax combined. He never said that he would do this in his campaign.
Although Businesses liked it (less paperwork) the people did not. The people leading the recall (Ex-Premier Bill Vander Zalm) had to get 10% of the vote from each riding. Campbell had to resign and we got Christie Clark and no GST combined tax. Some of the small details may be off.
Vander Zalm misses Politics and might organize it for Alberta if someone got hold of him. He never had much love for the NDP.

Ok.. Now we are starting to find out that perhaps not all is lost and maybe we could put a fund together to hire lawyers who specialize in Canadian political law..

Bugs potter… Hats off to you putting our elected representatives in the hot seat and taking them to task over this issue…
I hope everybody follows your lead and takes some kind of responsibility into making this issue very uncomfortable for the elected people.
WELL DONE..!!!

Those who don’t oppose the carbon tax are the ones that the thief Notely will hand the money over too.

Obviously the 32% that agree to the Carbon Tax for one they don’t have jobs and are on government assistance and two they must like working and giving 1/2 of there money to taxis FREAKING IDIOTS .

WAKE THE FRICK UP PEOPLE

Notley should be charged for obtaining money under false pretenses. She is blaming Man for Global Warming, which is, of course, a falsehood.

What she is doing is, in fact, a crime under International Law. I expect our enlightened PM will soon follow suit.

Charles asked, “Who the fugg thinks that taxing carbon is a good idea!???”

The ones who collect and spend that carbon tax money.

I have written my own MLA as well as the Premier and the Minister of Environment regarding this poll. Since the NDP did not include a carbon tax in their election platform, they have no mandate to impose it, especially in the face of massive public opposition.

The primary responsibility of an MLA is to represent the wishes of their constituents. I hope you all take a minute to remind them of this inconvenient fact.

Thanks for the heads up bugs… I hope everybody posting on this thread picks up on what you just said and starts rattling the cages of their MLA’s….!!!
Maybe that can work on a federal level as well..!!!!

Who the fugg thinks that taxing carbon is a good idea!???

Are these social justice morons completely void of common sense??

Carbon is the single most abundant element on Earth. Humans are carbon based animals. The plants that produce the oxygen we rely upon are dependent on carbon dioxide.

Do humans need to reduce air pollution? Absolutely, without a doubt. That is just plain logic.

i just find it very ironic and hypocritical that the biggest advocates of carbon taxes are in fact the biggest carbon pigs on the planet. Pigs like Suzuki who will fly around the world denouncing carbon based energy instead of using technologies like video conferencing to deliver their message.

Why aren’t new homes being built with solar panels that are self sufficient?

Albertans are no different than the majority of Canadians their commitment to junk science green/climate causes is only lip service and wallet deep They’re all for these feel good hollow gestures until it costs them something or increases taxes.

When being green and loving the “climate” was a simple matter of buying stuff that made them feel eco-responsible, they were pro green, the minute it increases taxes and the cost of living, they drop it like a hot stone.

That’s why these duplicitous globalist governments attempt to hide carbon taxing from consumers by burying it in the supply chain..
commented 2016-10-02 19:05:52 -0400
Show me a poll which shows Canadians supporting more tax.

If you can live like the Amish, you will no longer be a useless taxpayer to these pigs. Build a still , (booze and high octane fuel), burn wood, grow a garden and poach the odd queens cows….. and booya, bobs your uncle. Non taxpaying sumbitch.
commented 2016-10-02 18:12:43 -0400
So far Albertans have opposed every thing that those NDPiggers have done!! Those who voted for this tyrannical government need to be shipped back to where they come from!! Just a bunch of Bolsheviks!!

Socialist are all about the ends justifies the means even if they leave a path of destruction and or pursuing less drastic measures that can get something done. They are so arrogant and short sited, it’s like dealing with spoiled children that you have no authority over.

Drew asked, " I wonder when socialist voters will finally get it? "

No. They won’t.

Leviticus said, "I don’t think the NDP has a political future in this province again. "

And I think they know it and have full intentions of doing maximum damage, and taking as much for themselves and their friends while in their first and only term.

The NDP will never see office again.

MOST CANADIANS OPPOSE CARBON TAX.
Except the stupid ones who support the Liberals that think money will stop carbon emissions.
They don’t realize that burning anything will cause carbon emissions. Paying money won’t keep them from happening.
commented 2016-10-02 16:48:14 -0400
As if the so called government of the people cares what the people think. I wonder when socialist voters will finally get it?
commented 2016-10-02 16:46:27 -0400
And neither does the NDP have a future in any province from coast to coast, where it has ruled previously… It’s too bad the people of Alberta didn’t learn that lesson after watching NDP rule in Nova Scotia or Ontario or Manitoba or Saskatchewan or British Columbia…

I live in Alberta and every Albertan I have talked to vehemently opposes the carbon tax… hates it..!!!!
I have never met anybody from Rachel Notley’s cabinet and they must be the only ones to support it,
I don’t think the NDP has a political future in this province again.
