Question of the Day: Can you name the Canadian cities those Jeopardy contestants got wrong?

Emily PrattRebel Correspondent

Jeopardy contestants failed miserably at a Canadian Cities category.

While the Americans face a lot of criticism for not knowing our country’s geography, we hit the streets to see if Canadians know the cities themselves.

The only one I got wrong was The Velodrome in Montreal … guessed Vancouver.

I got the Moose Jaw one. Otherwise I did pretty badly. Those questions seem rather obscure.

Many of the questions weren’t even covered in high schools. So it’s no wonder some of the people couldn’t get the questions right. We just weren’t taught these things.

All in all I thought the interviewees did pretty well. Those were relatively difficult questions. Not something I would expect Americans to know. And why would they?

Why would Americans face a lot of criticism for a lack of knowledge re Canadian geography? What a pathetic statement.
Average Americans have a pretty shaky grip on the subject when it comes to their own country.
