Emily PrattRebel Correspondent

Canada Day is almost here!

Ahead of the Nation's big birthday bash, I hit the streets to see what is the best way to celebrate the day.

Bravo Zulu closes post with:
“Entitled bunch of spoiled brats for the most part.”
Quite true, today we call them Grecians, tomorrow Ontarians.
I, like many, had to work, in case anybody’s asking.

Give my two Cairn terriers an extra nice brushing and then reward them with some Hero liver treats; dig out the Gordon Lightfoot and Ian and Sylvia LPs; sip on some Sleeman’s Honey Brown lager, sit under the yard umbrella, contemplate the clear blue sky, watch the hummingbirds attack their feeder, and hope the idiot two doors over turns of his damn power-washer! It’s Canada Day people!….

Linda Cayer, you said it all. Couldn’t agree more.
Have a great Canada Day. We are all so lucky to live in this country.

Bravo, there’s truth to that, but maybe not as many as you think. And as for Ontario being run by a criminal? Got it in one.

I will be working – someone has to pay my power bill and that damned criminal running Ontario sure as heck is not going to do it.

In fact I have to admit I do not like many Canadians any more.

Entitled bunch of spoiled brats for the most part.

Canada Day is a day to show our pride and gratitude for those who created this wonderful Nation . Wave our flag and sing Oh Canada and pray that God will keep our Land Glorious and Free. Speak up and speak out for our traditions and freedoms.
I will send up a special prayer of thanks to all our war veterans and to to those who currently serve our Nation .
We mustn’t allow the socialists to rob us of our pride. Remember to vote Conservative.
My best memories are always with family.

What were your best memories of CANADA DAY
I have two the first while living in Montreal in 1967 being 19 years old and having the time of my life at EXPO 67 on Canada Day the crowds, the smells, the love of my life, the foods, the Snow Birds flying over head and the pavilions of the countries of the world. WHAT A MAJICAL DAY

The other memorable CANADA DAY was back in 1996 when with my daughter Kathryn when she and the Delta B.C. YOUTH ORCASTRA played on top of Parliament Hill we had front row seats for the festival.

Now please tell us of your best CANADA DAYS memories .
