REPORT: Obama told Ukraine not to fight back against invading Russian troops

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

According to Bloomberg News, Obama told Ukraine not to challenge Russian troops that had invaded Crimea.

We shouldn't be surprised. We know Obama won't defend the national interests of the United States, let alone a foreign country.

He withdrew from Iraq and Afghanistan, and just signed a dangerous Iranian nuclear deal.

Obama betrayed Ukraine just like he'll betray the Gulf States and Israel when war comes with Iran.

Obama's latest decision actually violates the Budapest Memorandum signed after the fall of the Berlin Wall, when Ukraine agreed to give up its nuclear arsenal in exchange for a promise of protection from the United States.

Israel has no doubt taken note of that already...

Then Pierre Michauville tell me why there are only 600,000 Anglos living in Quebec when there was 1.6 million living there Bill 22 BILL 101 are racist laws. Nowhere else in Canada are laws like this French speaking people are respected all over CANADA and you are allowed to put up a unilingual French sign but try doing that in Quebec you’ll have the language police all over you. The truth being told Quebec only allows English courts etc. because they need the money from Alberta and Saskatchewan to continue their lives. Montreal has fallen from Canada’s first city to fouth place behind Toronto, Calgary , Edmonton and Vancouver that’s the facts. How would you like it if Ontario said on;y English should apply

A follow up, I was active in the Liberal party and a member of the Liberal Riding Association federal and provincial of the Town of Mount Royal a largely English speaking riding. John Ciacica was our member of parliament in the Quebec Assembly, John showed up for every riding meeting. Trudeau never appeared at our riding even though he represented the Mount Royal Riding in the Canadian parliament.

“Ukraine had every right to insist that everyone living within the recognized borders of Ukraine speak Ukrainian. Just like here in Canada in the province of Quebec when the socialists took over power in Quebec the instituted bill 22 forcing the English speakers to speak French. "

You are deluded (and I am staying very polite).

In Québec : laws are published in English, courts are bilingual, 3 English-medium universities (30% of whole post-secondary State budget goes to them), local radio stations in English, many English schools, English newspapers, etc. No ukrainization/frenchifying of people’s name or places (I live in a place with an English name and around 95 % francophones since its foundation, place name was given on a map by some Englishman who never settled here…)

Absolutely no comparison to the Ukrainization in Ukraine, a bankrupt, brutal, bleak and corrupt State. But that is about never reported. Have to maintain the myth: vassal Ukraine very nice, independant Russia very bad.

Support for the PM Yatseniuk’s party is around 2 % in public opinion polls…

Ukraine had every right to insist that everyone living within the recognized borders of Ukraine speak Ukrainian. Just like here in Canada in the province of Quebec when the socialists took over power in Quebec the instituted bill 22 forcing the English speakers to speak French. The radio station CFCF started a petition what was signed by over 800,000 Canadian English and others. This petition was presented to the socialist Liberal government led by the socialist Trudeau. He paid lip service to this petition and did nothing to help his fellow Canadians who had voted for him in the previous election. With his inaction it led to the exodus of over a million Canadians who had their right to speak and work in English taken away.
So if this could happen in Canada why couldn’t it happen in Ukraine
From a community of 1.8 million English speaking Canadians living in Quebec is now down to 600,000 and falling. BUT the bright spot of this racial forced exodus of English speaking people from Quebec brought prosperity to the rest of Canada.

Ukraine’s rulers wasted decades of opportunity after independence tolerating the wallowing in Soviet style bureaucratic obstructionism and corruption instead of going forward to create a modern economically sound business climate. The resulting prosperous nation would have now had the strength and cohesion to offer a united front to ethnic Russian separatist extremists and their masters in Moscow. It seems obvious that Russia picked up more than a few IOUs for its “help” giving the west alternate access to Afghanistan and one of them likely is no large scale US intervention permitted in Ukraine short of a blatant official massive invasion by Russia. If it exists, that would be one agreement left to Obama by Bush that he would enjoy obeying to the letter. Remember that aside to Putin’s puppet about “…after the election” before his second term?

Isn’t it interesting how Barack Hussein Obama simply ignores USA commitments when it doesn’t suit him to uphold the same. It is despicable that this low-life President of the USA deigns to pull back and watch allies being slaughtered while he unilaterally breaks such promises of support. It is totally beyond comprehension!
It is totally beyond comprehension until one considers the position from which Obama functions. The Koran forbids lying to other Muslims but says treaties and agreements with the infidel can be broken when it is to the benefit of the Muslim’s position. And here we find the closet Muslim – Obama – unilaterally breaking USA agreements with the Ukraine after the USA gave such a commitment to have the Ukraine give-up its Nuclear Arsenal (throwing them to the wolves as Ezra says) while, with the other hand, he is handing nuclear ability to the likes of Iran – which will freely break its commitments to the West when it desires to do so!
As I have often said, Obama is a prime example of the failure of Affirmative Action. But, we also have to see his pro-Islamic actions as clear proofs of his own Muslim positions and his inner desire to destroy what Islam sees as the Great Shiaitan – The West!

Since Russia broke the agreement they made to recognize the borders of Ukraine this agreement is null and void there fore Ukraine should get ii’s nuclear weapons back. The United States Britain France and Russia should provide Ukraine with these weapons that they gave up. All of the signing parties made money from the disposal of these weapons.

A big THUMBS UP to the post by Pierre Michauville below!

I agree with Pierre that Ezra is good on a lot of subjects (especially free speech) but on the Ukraine he doesn’t seem to have a clue about the history of this region nor does he seem to be aware that the Maidan operation was in fact an illegal coup sponsored by the U.S. (at a cost of BILLIONS) and by the E.U..

Ezra calls the Ukraine an American “ally”? Really? since when? Ezra talks about Russian troops “invading” Crimea. Does he not realize that Crimea has been home to the Russian Black Sea fleet dating back to the late 1700’s? Russia did not have to “invade” Crimea it already had 10,000’s of Navy and Marine personnel in this region. Does any sane person believe that Russia would allow the Ukraine to evict its Navy from a port that it has occupied for CENTURIES? If in fact Obama told the Ukrainians not to take on the massive Russian Military presence ALREADY STATIONED in Crimea this was a bit of good advice because the Ukrainian forces would have been wiped out. Is Ezra suggesting that Obama send American troops into a HOT SHOOTING war with Russia over Crimea? What about Canadian troops? Should Canada send troops to the Ukraine to do battle with Russia?

It amazes me how many people are so ill-informed about this conflict (even otherwise smart people like Ezra). Our own idiot Prime Minister has portrayed the conflict as a “fight for democracy” against the “evil communists”. Never mind that the Ukraine already had a democratically elected leader and Russia is no longer a communist country.

Barack Obama is a war criminal for his role in sponsoring the coup and the subsequent civil war in the Ukraine which has claimed the lives of 10,000’s of innocent white Russians and Ukrainians as well as the 00’s of passengers killed in the shoot-down of MH-17.

Ezra, I like you on some subjects (social conservatism, libertarianism, freedom of speech), but really on Russia and Ukraine!? Did I hear you say “Tyranny” while speaking of Russia?
So a few facts:

1) The Maidan operation was an illegal coup, a putsch. A democratically elected president and his government were toppled just after an agreement was reached for early elections (France, Germany, Poland as guarantors).

2) The current Ukrainian government is just as corrupt as the previous (everyone could have foreseen it: just another bunch of oligarchs at the helm). It has banned TV channels, journalists, newspapers, political parties, decreed several waves of mobilizations while the country is not formally in a war (it is only a police action, the ATO). This is unconstitutional.

3) One of the first law the post-Maidan Rada wanted to pass was to ban Russian spoken in many regions. How would you feel if English were banned in half of Canada? Ukrainization has been a constant complaint from the numerous Russian speakers in Ukraine (from Odessa to Kharkov), Russian-medium schools are closed, teachers, civil servants from the Galician West are sent East to Ukrainize the population, the pupils.

4) Crimea was part of Russia for centuries. It was “given” to the soviet Ukraine for purely geographically reasons in 1954 when those “provincial” divisions did not matter much in the USSR. Donbass was ceded earlier to soviet Ukraine to increase the proportion of factory workers in a soviet republic seen as too conservative too peasant,. The population was always mostly Russian speaking.

5) Crimea has requested several times (as an autonomous republic it was entitled to do so) through different means including referendums to go back to Russia (the pre-1954 state of affairs). Ukraine denied that right to Crimea. Crimea even requested this reunification in 1991 and it could be argued that it is actually Ukraine that illegally annexed Crimea under Yeltsin’s watch, the drunkard the US loved so much.

6) Borders are intangible in Europe as long as the US/Germany say so. See Kosovo detached from Serbia. How convenient in that case.

7) It is obvious that the oligarch Poroshenko is ruining his country. The US does not care; it wants a new vassal in Ukraine. A new thorn in Russia’s side. It must make sure Ukraine does not fall in Russia’s orbit. That is all. All part of the Big Game. The US will probably lose, but it will first fight until its last Ukrainian.

8) Canada has no strategic interest in Ukraine. We serve only as a poodle to the US. (And yes there are a few Ukrainians, mostly from Galicia in Canada, but really their political weight is exaggerated).

I have a very simple question——If Canada does Not stand for the Ukraine or Israel—-
Then WHOM do we stand WITH ?

I just join the conservative party for five years. Stephen Harper is have a meeting in Hamilton this Aug. 27 at 2:30 P.M. If they ask for questions from the floor I will ask him if he plans to transfer 3 to 4 ships of the Kingston Class we have 12 of these ship tied up in moth balls 24 were built in 1996 but we had to moth ball 12 of them for lack of crews. These costal patrol ships should be leased or given to Ukraine as most of their navy was stolen by Russia when Russian invaded Crimea. These ships are excellent vessels and ideal for fishery and coastal patrol The Ukraine Navy is in dire need of help and these ships are just rusting away in harbor lets put them to goog use.

Rick, perhaps before the good American people would let Obama take a third term, someone would make good on the psychic’s prediction that the 44th president would be assassinated in office.

No, Trump is going to take it. Obama is finished.

Ukraine is complicated. Obama has no business telling them what to do in any event, but the Ukraine government is nortorious for corruption and has admitted it, in the presence of PM Harper. Part of the problem was that Ukrainian Muslims were cleansing and killing ethnic Russian Ukrainian Christians. Putin exploited that and took over.

Putin poses a risk, no doubt about it. But so does a corrupt Ukrainian government.

It makes me want to take both Putin and Obama and pock their heads together. Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee would be laughable if the stakes weren’t so high in violence and lost lives. Putin understands too well what a chicken Obama really is and so he keeps testing Obama’s resolve, which doesn’t exist except maybe to defend planned parenthood and gay rights.

I recommended this book before, “Red Notice” by Bill Browder, and for the same reason. Obama’s Russia policy. An all party Congress Bill was delayed in the hopes of killing it on the order paper after the 2012 election by Obama and then Senator and Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman, Kerry The bill was to sanction Russian individuals involved in the prison torture and murder of Browder’s Russian lawyer, Magnitsky. The bill passed both houses of Congress with near unanimity, as a similar bill did in the EU parliament; the Russian opposition was on board of course. Only Obama and Kerry opposed it, because they did not want to jeopardize relations with Putin, not relations with Russia, but with Putin. I’ll bet there is a lot more missing than Nixon’s 14 minutes in the Obama administration’s records…Clinton’s e-mails for example?

Barack Hussein Obama. It’s becoming more evident there is no treachery this traitor to America will not engage in! What’s baffling is that the American Public still tolerate this sad excuse for a President! We may be in WWIII before his term is up! On another thread someone suggested he would use this as justification for a third term as Roosevelt did during WWII. That may be part of the end game!

Obama and oil….connect the dots. While Putin kicks sand in the face of barry, barry continues to collect his off shore personal payments from Putin for laying the carpet for Putin to invade unopposed. Russia is now the second largest oil producer in the world (ahead of the USA). (scroll down)

Rot in h*ll barry!!!
