Jeremy Corbyn, the UK Labour leader, is investigating anti-Semitism in his party. Sure, he’s given speeches in front of the flag of an anti-Semitic terrorist group called Hezbollah. But now he’s hunting high and low for anti-Semites.
Well, using access to information laws, a Jewish newspaper in the UK has just received letters that Corbyn had sent to the former UK foreign minister, William Hague, demanding sanctions against Israel.
(The UK has sanctions against very few countries in the world. It doesn’t have sanctions against the dictatorships of Saudi Arabia or China, for example...)
He also wanted the UK government to “ensure the BBC portray Palestine fairly.”
Yeah, he’s definitely the right man for the job of hunting down Jew-haters in his party, isn’t he?
