Rona Ambrose Interview: Chili pepper infused juice and BAD liberal policies keep her fighting

Brian LilleyRebel Co-Founder

After nine months as interim leader of the Conservatives, I thought it was time to check in with Rona Ambrose for a wide-ranging interview about the state of politics in Ottawa.

The Conservative Party leader reports that after a few months of Liberals in charge, the feeling among CPC MP’s is a renewed sense of conviction in our ideology and a sense that their job in opposition is just as important as when they were in government.

Watch as we cover a number of issues of importance to Conservatives and all Canadians.

They want to redo & make changes to attract more voters & they seem to think by leaning more to the left will accomplish this. They had better rethink this because they seem to forget about those of us who voted for them in the last election. In the end, they may attract new voters but will have lost the loyal ones they already had. I think they are going about this all wrong. They do not need to throw away the conservative values which keeps me voting for them but change the way they run their campaigns. It is very obvious that Trudeau’s campaign was better run & they made the most of the their funds which paid off big time for them. The “he’s not ready” ads ran nonstop & never influenced the swing voters or attract new ones. Hire the right people for the job, hire those who will get it right. If the Conservatives transform their party to the point that I can barely see any difference between them & the other two, then I will not vote at all.

We need a Politician to go Trump on the House of Commons. To bad Canadians don’t have the right to Free Speech. Moreover You can’t spell Progressive without “SS”. I can’t vote CPC because they put Progressive in their name for gods sake…..Progressivism is the problem…..hellooooo. The NWO have infiltrated pretty much all western Governments, Their setting up False left-right paradigms fuelled by propaganda they’ll all bring us into this Globalisation. Stand up for Canadian Sovereignty for Canadian Nationalism as an Individual. A Group of Individuals is what the Public is. Collectivism is oxy-moronic by definition

Well I see a lot of posts are in line with my thinking. I am very disappointed with Rona. She seemed to have started out strong but in my mind is starting to fail. She let the actions of trudeau, re grabbing one of her members go unchallenged, she should have run with this. From what I understand he broke parliamentary rules by crossing the floor uninvited, the elbow-gate was an accident and rightly dropped but the other incident should have been dealt with very strongly. I also was rather disgusted to hear her mock Harper at the press dinner. I agree with many posts that the Conservatives are looking like they are standing with the liberals on many issues. What trudeau is doing to Canada should be stopped or at least hampered. I am beginning to think the Conservatives have caught the brain eating worm that is affecting the liberals. I wish Mulcair, was not NDP, he would be more effective as the opposition.

After watching this interview with Rona Ambrose it convinces me more the CPC has gone full ‘progressive’, Canadian voters have no choice now either party is as good as or as bad as the other.
I firmly believe the progressive conservative elements of the CPC just used Mr. Harper to gain power, now that they are no longer in power & with Mr. Harper gone they’ve no need to wear ‘conservative’ mask anymore. There’s no true conservative party left in Canada, voters have to choose between liberal-socialists, progressive-socialists & communists.

As Marek Wysocki rightly commented “But the overlap is much more striking than any dissimilarities.”
Besides other failing, as mentioned in Marek Wysocki comment, the biggest threat to Canada (and other developed western countries) is uncontrolled immigration from third world countries, and we all know it’s going on not for the cause of humanity but at the behest of big greedy corporations.

I think a drink infused with red chilli peppers would make more sense as Ambrose and her pal Michelle Rempel are doing their best to push the Conservative party further to the left to be more ‘progressive’, as if that is going to attract more votes. On the other hand, green goes along with their support of man-made global warming. As you say Dieter, CINO.

I would never drink anything with this CINO twit.

A new low for Liley.

Great interview. I would like to see more interviews like this on a weekly basis if possible.

Rona Ambrose is the leader we need to defeat Trudeau.

As a conservative value person, we dont want or need a light version of Trudeau. And with Rona i feel thats what we are getting. Seen in past interviews her PC is spot on, and she oozes all the SJW buzz words. Take a look what she said about Trump for an example.

Wake me up when you interview a conservative leader who want’s to chat over a rib steak and beers after a day on the trap range.

Rona – getting sooooo sleeeply.

Okay, so now the CPC is revamping because they lost the election? Their genius take? Conservative voters were unhappy with the party and Harper? How about just, Not! The MSM tarnished Mr. Harper, unrelenting for years, then with the same extent of energy and determination campaigned whole-heartedly for Junior Trudeau. CPC wants to change direction and become a mini-me version of Justin Trudeau Liberals? They will do it without my vote. I have never voted Liberal and swore I never would. But never say never. Ambrose goes on and on about her brilliance as the opposition but what has she or any of them accomplished? Nada! I will take this woman and her colleagues seriously when all of this supposed toughness, the grilling and goading, interrogations make pretty boy shake in his boots and produce an electoral reform referendum. Otherwise all Ambrose is doing is stealing the Sunny Ways trademark.

As a conservative, all I can say is, it’s a shame they let a criple win the election. It gets harder to defend my party with her running it,, completely void of enthusiasm.

Here is a public service job that does not require bilingualism, but so many other similar jobs where there is far,far less tendency to come across French, require bilingualism

When in power, the “Progressive” Conservatives did not do anything to change this situation for fear of losing the French/Quebec vote because they think the typical Francophone/Quebecois is like the typical French/Quebecois politican/media member who only wants to employ French speakers like him/herself

MAREK WYSOCKI – good points, especially with Free Trade Deals.

However, I have nothing wrong with a “bloated public service” providing it is serving the people.

Problem, is you have a number of tiny departments serving special interests like the Official Languages Commission.

I constantly see jobs with titles of “official languages”, “employment equity” that are in the $70,000 to $100,000 range.

This is what the polically correct “progessive” Conservative party does not want to get rid of, instead, when they do do cuts, it is almost always low end paying jobs serving the people

So, Ms Ambrose, what is it that distinguishes the Progressive Conservatives (emphasis on “progressive”) from the other parties in terms of actual policy? Some slight differences on Israel, perhaps? A general reluctance to incur quite the same sized deficits as their counterparts? But the overlap is much more striking than any dissimilarities. The PCs now favor gay marriage, euthanasia, carbon taxes, are in favor of maintaining a bloated public service and, most importantly to me personally and as they proved while in power, they are in favor of flooding the country with Muslim immigrants and other low skilled workers (through the TFW program initially) as a means to drive down wages and satisfy the wealthy friends. And no, Rona, Canadians are not pleased with free trade deals with 51 countries, deals which only benefit large corporations, and not the average Canadian worker. There is no true conservative party in this country anymore: the PC party will pay for abandoning its base and principals.

Yes Conservatives, time to go back home and listen to us
