Russia and Trudeau’s Liberals agree — Canada is back! What message does this send to our allies?

Brian LilleyRebel Co-Founder

You can be known by your friends, likewise, you can be known by your enemies.

We should remember this when considering how to feel about the Russian ambassador repeating the “Canada is back” canard while appearing on Global’s West Block this weekend.

Canada has been on the opposite side of Russia but Canada was NOT isolated under the Harper government, as the Liberals and media party like to suggest.

Last week, Global Affairs Minister Stephane Dion declared that he wanted to engage with Russia while the former government didn’t. Really? What about the arctic? Here’s something Russia’s ambassador said in the Global interview that the show’s host didn’t pick up on; Canada hosted a meeting on the arctic last April under the Harper government. Russia was there and agreed with us on issues.

Under Harper, Canada took a tough diplomatic stand against Russia over the theft of Crimea and the ongoing invasion of eastern Ukraine. Harper bluntly told Putin to get out of Ukraine. We joined our allies in imposing sanctions, we joined our allies in a military training mission to assist Ukrainian forces.

And now with Harper gone, Russia is welcoming Canada back out of our purported self-isolation and the media party doesn’t question this? Just accepts the Russian narrative?

It’s like the cold war is back and the media is on the side of the Russians.

Why should we be happy that Russia and Iran like Canada’s new foreign policy? Both countries support the Assad regime in Syria, Russia supplies and arms rebels in Ukraine, they undermine democracies on their borders, Iran supplies and funds terrorists.

Canada needs principled foreign policy that looks out for our national interests, works with our allies, supports our friends – in particular democracies like Ukraine and Israel but instead we’re moving closer to Russia and Iran with nothing to show for it other than leaving our allies to feel they no longer have Canada’s full backing.

Greg Ficek, Pakistan has nukes as well, and that is what worries me the most.

Liza rosi said
“Why stay in Canada if you don’t care enough for it to fight Trudeau and the Marxists for it.”
I noticed once again you use the term “Marxist”….
To be a Marxist you must first be a Zionist…
To be a Zionist you must first be a …..?
You’re dangerously close to being a hypocrite.
No… Upon further contemplation of that you are a hypocrite.

I never said I agreed with it leza… I never said it was proper… All I said is that I understand it.
Israel is a nuclear Power in the Middle East… In fact they’re the only nuclear power in the Middle East… In fact they receive billions and billions of dollars every year from the United States and the most advanced technologically advanced updated military equipment. I don’t think they really have anything to fear from a bunch of goat farming stone throwers who’s best weapon is probably CanOpener’s toothbrushes. all I’m saying is I think the media is a little one sided on this considering Israel has no established borders since the creation of the state in 1948

Marty Smith… You were a little bit rough on her lol… but your posts are 100% accurate. United States of America has become the largest murder/terrorist organization on the planet and answers to who knows who…?
The whole global political environment is so twisted and a homogenization of truth and lies it can never be fixed..
There is no reset button and there’s too much going on here to be a coincidence. Most of The U.S. Senate which is the most vicious War hawks there are all carry dual citizenship which by the constitution of the United States is illegal but there’s only one group of people that can do that and get away with it.
and that is only the tip of the iceberg… the tentacles of these evil people reach every country that has an established central bank.
Trying to explain this to people is next to impossible if they don’t understand it already. seven or eight years ago there were six countries on the planet did didn’t have an established central bank… Everyone of those countries has been invaded, leaders disposed of and the central bank and a puppet set in place for the country. I believe there is only three or four countries left and they’re all on the hit list of the United States to support the agenda of these banking cartels.. Strangely enough two of the countries are in the Middle East or maybe three of them and the fourth is North Korea.
When all of these countries fall global banking will be set in place and then just a matter of time until everybody is on the same Currency standard and then the swing over to cashless Banking.
However having said that Putin has nationalized their central bank in Russia and created some problems for the internationals..
The forced immigration policies globally are not by coincidence but by design. After a few years of civil strife globally every citizen on the planet will be so tired of war that they will beg for an end of it and even if that means signing away every freedom they have for a false security and then the plan is complete. We all know what happens after that.

I think you are right Drew. Trudeau will be a pliable ‘friend’.

I think I got where Marty is coming from, and I can only assume Greg, that you share his sentiments and hope to be able to ‘pick up the pieces’ when the government fails? I can’t help that you think my responses are knee jerk Greg. Just poking to get clarity to some vague answers. I get that you revere Putin, but do not think his expanding role is a great thing for us. With Iran’s new financial resources thanks to Obama, Putin shouldn’t have to worry about his floundering economy putting a dent in his efforts. Before that I had my doubts Russsia would be able to keep afloat. You think his expanding role is a good thing, I don’t.

For the record, I did return to the article about the painting in the University depicting a Palestinian getting ready to throw rocks. We disagree, ’we’ll just leave it at that’.

Justin Trudeau would gargle putin’s urine…
And in reality that’s all he’s fit to do.???
commented 2016-02-03 01:18:44 -0500
Putin is happy we have a weakling for a PM. I would be happy about it as well if i were him. I hope he slaps Justin one of these days.

Leza… I don’t think you get the point here. I am merely being objective and your responses to me in this post as well as others are always knee-jerk reaction based on emotions when all I am trying to do is display fact.. Russia might not be such a bad place to live if I spoke Russian and maybe 30 years younger..
Age has allowed me the privilege to see many things unfold and my education has allowed me the insight to understand what is happening how and why….
When I was young and impetuous I to based my reaction on emotion and the visibly obvious without understanding the play.. And what I meant by that was it took me a while to figure out if I was part of the social experiment that could be easily moved by emotion or did I critically analyze things looking for the reason why before I was so easily manipulated making me a useful idiot for the system or the powers that be.

And just for the record… You should read my last reply to you about the painting hanging in the University… It’s not what you think.. By the way I never said I agreed with it and we’ll just leave it at that.

Alrighty then Marty, thanks for your civil reply.

For fuck’s sakes, Liza, if you want to overthrow the goddamn HoC, go for it. I will drive you there myself and film your bloody arrest and post it to Facebook for a lol. It might even be a snuff film depending on how stupid you are when you act.

The rest of us will bide our time and wait for our government to fail, then wait for the provinces to reset everything with AFN, and impose another government. This would be when I go tactical to prevent banditry from taking dominance in the meantime if it ever gets to this. I honestly hope it doesn’t, but if the LPC keeps making a mockery of our economy and international reputation, it just might. If our government fails, welfare does as well, and then hell will come to our cities when the nanny state populace and gangs attack the rich.

There will be plenty of action here, and if you think I am just going to run… GO FUCK YOURSELF!!
commented 2016-02-03 00:00:39 -0500
So you both are just waiting for what you suggest is the inevitable? In that case aren’t you living on the wrong continent? If that’s what you believe, you’d think you would want your butts safely planted in Russia with the ‘winners’? Why stay in Canada if you don’t care enough for it to fight Trudeau and the Marxists for it.

Leeza… Don’t worry about Russia and China with their affiliation with North Korea… North Korea is a small yappie dog on the block and it’s not even a major player and if that it ever became in Russia’s or China’s best interest to put a muzzle or a leash on the little dog they would not hesitate to do so… China and Russia are only interested in commerce.. Contrary to mainstream media would have you believe. The technological advances in Russia’s military has been most forthcoming while the Americans have done nothing over the past 15 years but spend money fighting useless wars in far off countries to take control of their resources.
Russia is already selling the SU300 missiles to China after they developed the SU400 which the Americans have no defense for and makes all their aircraft carriers obsolete.. They also possess an electronic jamming device that on the flyover of an American destroyer shut down all the electronics on board including radio contact it was a sitting duck.. There were no shots fired but the destroyer immediately left the territorial water.. (the flyover of the destroyer is all over the Internet but never on mainstream media.) There has been so many false flag attempts to draw Russia into a hot war and Putin is a very patient man. Believe it or not the Russians really don’t want war and the missiles I just described are defensive and not a offensive weapon… It seems like dick Cheney George Bush Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are the ones pushing hard for war. They have tried so many times to call out Putin and he can’t be bluffed bullied or manipulated,

LIZA ROSIE : We have no choice. the NDB nations are about half of the global population, and already can set up an economy to compete and cripple North America. Due to 2 back to back idiot POTUS’s down south and our new idiot PM and LPC, we are finished. We cannot get back up after this one easily I’m afraid.
commented 2016-02-02 22:33:39 -0500
But will it be a good thing or a bad thing for the west if Russia, along with Iran, China, and North Korea to have the balance of power in the globe?

It may be advantageous for the west to have some sort of amicable relationship with Russia, but only from a position of strength, which we do not have at the moment. You couldn’t be more right Greg, Putin does what is good for himself and Russia. The same as we should be doing in the west but aren’t. Since I don’t wish to live in Russia, I would rather the west be on top.

Russia is the last bastion of testosterone in the world.. He does was good for Russia and what’s good for himself. There’s no difference between the KGB and the Rcmp other than a few years of evolution.. Demonize him all you like but he doesn’t go around the world setting up empires knocking over small countries for pleasure and profit… the Crimea seceded in a legal fashion presented with a vote of the Crimean people to an international court not to mention that it has been historically a part of Russia for over 600 years and for anybody else that might be wondering about Ukraine, if Russia wanted that seriously folks he could’ve had it in three days.
But go figure mainstream media doesn’t bother to inform the morons in this country who are spoonfed their information from the television sets that..
Of course not they tell them the opposite.. demonize the wrong people and the dumb shits of this country eat it up
commented 2016-02-02 22:07:55 -0500
Marty, I’m not saying Putin isn’t doing some things right. I’m also not saying the west is doing much of ANYTHING right at the moment. However I do not believe Putin’s take on many of the events he describes, or many of his actions. In my opinion he is as much an honest broker as Rouhani is, which I don’t believe is at all. I won’t argue that point with you.

If there were an effective Republican in the White house, would you rather Russia take the lead in the M.E. or the west? Do you really want to give the balance of power over to a Russia, Iran, China, and North Korean alliance?
I don’t.

Why would you want Russia in the G8, Penson? After all, don’t you hate them for allowing concealed carry, for being Christian, for being conservative??? Or is it only our cousins to the South you care to insult?

Last I checked, dipshits like Penson and the other goofs here, Michael Mann, etc… Even Trudeau and Harper… They all thought it was a great idea to be involved in this Syria coup BS… Sing the praises of the CIA-run “Arab Spring”.

The reason we need Putin in the G8 is because he’s the only one who will fight the globalist carbon legislation. If that is allowed to pass, goodbye Canada, hello Agenda 21.

Attempting to make diplomatic relations with Russia, who fought “ISIS” that our idiot leaders created.

The problem is, and I think Putin sees this… Trudeau is a complete Soros puppet; So this olive branch is not sincere. Trudeau is the globalist iron fist beneath a celebrity velvet glove, just like his buddy ObaMao.

Tell me Liza. Who do you have in the Middle East to confirm events and help you fact check?
(if you really do have someone there, keep it to yourself for their sake and just sit there choking on your words)

I am sure if boy Trudeau and his buddy Butts ( switch that around if you like), have their way you will have your wish, Sean Mann, er..Michael Penson, I can’t keep all your usernames straight. It must be time for some new ones?

Putin is an ex-KGB thug, in full control Russia. Over the years has had his opposition erased from the planet.
He will eat Justin for lunch . . . as Russian Oil Rigs expand into the Canadian Arctic.
Putin laughs at the Obama clown, now we have our own clown show in Ottawa.
The dim-wited Dion is our Foreign Minister . . . what could go wrong . . . lol

Move to Russia if Putin is such a good guy. What are you doing here? Geezus, maybe we do really need Trump. Seems some of our pop. think that KGB snake Vladdie is admiral, fair and can be trusted. You know that picture of Putin shirtless on horseback? Well if there were another horse in that pic you would see he was on a pony. He has little big man syndrome, and he is the worst kind of bully. Anyone who thinks Russia and Iran will play nice, is drinking the same kool aid as Trudeau and Obambie.

HYACINTH : Pierre Trudeau was a traitor and a despot himself. Justin Trudeau is merely a lost moron commie with no more ‘Moscow’ to answer to. I seriously doubt Russia takes him seriously, save they feel grateful they don’t have to worry about Harper and the CPC’s unnecessary provocations in the light of bigger things going on in the ME.”

Marty, I agree Pierre was nothing but a traitor and despot, and Justin is not exactly the sharpest tack in the box, but I think “Moscow” still has a “worry” albeit far less of a worry now that Harper is gone because of the federal levels/layers of bureaucracy which remain. However, in a previous article pointed out by The Rebel, Justin and his merry band of robbers (aka the Liberal Party) are trying to undo everything that Harper had achieved/done/started etc. So, if they manage to undo everything then yes you would be correct in stating “Moscow” will simply laugh (not take him seriously).

I don’t believe Justin has the mental acuity to understand the fine intricacies of dealing with foreign powers, therefore his “advisors” are the ones to watch closely. I think Harper was correct, people will see this in the coming years. While Putin’s words on the surface may sound pleasing/appealing/correct (however you want to phrase it) one needs to look for the underlying motivation. I trust Putin as much as Trudeau which is nada, zip, zero.

This is an interesting read:

People – Russia is not our problem – it is the Kanadian Prime Minister (and the dude to the south) you need to be most cautious about – HE (they) is/are your enemy – if you desire freedom and security. JT is a globalist shit-head that doesn’t know his way around the country he lives in – never mind the globe.
His father (?) was a renowned communist while he was inciting riots at our univeristys back in the sixties.
Am I the only person who remembers this shit????
All you young fusks out there better sharpen your REAL history before coming to this site to pronounce your stupidity!!

I believe you are right – Marty Smith – I have met several Ukrainian people (really grateful & respectful!!!) in the past several months who have recently acquired residency to Canada, GP, Alberta (for all you trolls) who have explicitly described exactly what you have just said – the Ukrainian government is VERY corrupt. And for all you Lieberal trolls it was the Harper government who gave them entry to our Canada. Not that useless selfie shit-head Tru-poo!
Maybe you useless Lieberal trolls should be beginning to question your security – you are running out of ground in Canada. This is OUR country so GFYS!!!
