Saskatchewan NDP candidate’s old anti-oil tweets contradict leader’s pro-pipeline position

I love going through a political candidate’s old social media. It’s like a peek into their real thoughts when they think no one is looking.

We get to see a candidate at their most honest.

And we found some interesting things in the old twitter feed of a Saskatchewan NDP candidate, Brett Estey. He’s running in the riding of Regina Rochdale.

He does not like oil and, boy, does he hate pipelines! Watch my video to see some of the outlandish tweets we uncovered.

Saskatchewan NDP leader Cam Broten can’t run candidates like Brett Estey that hate oil and gas and then claim out of the other side of his mouth to support it.

I’m OK with politicians having their own opinions. Hopefully it means ideas and policies are actually being debated, instead of blindly toed to.

How can you tell a Dipper is lying to you?

If they’re breathing.

Deborah, yes, Sask. knows better than anybody the damage the NDP can do to their province. I think Brad Wall will prevail, but those bloody unions are strong. With more and more imports from other provinces, you never know what kind of voter you are going to get. The NDP are vermin.

The people of SK know very well what an NDP government can do to the economy. The NDP are not leaders, they are followers of an archaic and cruel ideology. Most of the young people fled to AB and have worked in the oil patch, so that they could hold on to their farms. Now the tables have turned, and it’s AB employees who are looking for work in SK. The NDP communists are a plague against humanity!

Shelia – Glad to see that you are chasing them all over the prairies. The rats need to be hunted down and exterminated. Keep up the good work.

We are talking about the NDP, ’nuff said.

Al asked, “Why would you consider ever voting for the NDP ever again?”

One of the great mysteries of the socialist mind for sure.

Saskatchewan was a have-not province for how many decades? What changed that? Some will tell you that they have oil and potash now. But they had oil and potash for as long as I can remember and I’m 55. What really brought the change was the simple expedient of voting the NDP out. Why on earth would any thinking person vote them in again?

Just look at it historically: In every province where the NDP has had power they ran that province into the ground: BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Nova Scotia. Why would you consider ever voting for the NDP ever again?

Yes, the NDP are the same no matter what province. Damn unions, messing in politics is criminal. I have it on good authority that this clown hasn’t a chance. Brad Wall will prevail to keep one province at least, strong and free.

He must have just left the socialist school system.

I wonder how long it will be before Alberta is a have not province. Three years?

I’m from Saskatchewan. I’ve lived and worked through two recessions under an NDP government. Let me say they talk that they are for the working man. But in reality they tax you till you can’t take it anymore.
Tax and spend is all they know. I implore all Saskatchewan voters to SUPPORT BRAD WALL and the SASK PARTY. You don’t want to end up being a have not province again. And you will if you vote ndp.
