Saudi Arabia closes in on 19th century as women “allowed” to participate in municipal elections

Igal HechtIsrael Correspondent

Women in Saudi Arabia will be voting and standing for office for the first time in municipal elections this weekend.

The decision to bring the Monarchy closer to the current century by allowing women to take part in elections is seen as part of the late King Abdullah’s legacy in a decision made on his deathbed.

But we shouldn’t allow this minor gesture to lull us into a false sense that women are now being treated as equals in the oil-rich nation, as I outline in my report.

Even the Saudis will stoop to political correctness to achieve their devious ends: world domination via Islam.

If I were doing the reporting for this story, I would not have been able to keep a straight face. At least the title was slightly smartassy.

Saudi Arabia, finances all the evil that is ongoing in today’s world. They now allow Women to vote! Civilized people had better look out, some of those Muslim females, at least I think they are female, having never seen one without a Salt Shaker uniform on. As I was saying, some of those Muslim females can be pretty mean. I hope they do not gain any real political power.

This oil-rich, savage country, and others like it, may perhaps turn out to be the best reason of all why we should re-double our efforts and hasten to burn every last molecule of fossil fuel on our planet. I have great confidence in the creative and inventive abilities of western civilization to overcome whatever problems humanity will then face. The countries of Islam don’t have such a great track record of contributing to civilization.
However, if Canada’s energy resources are depleted at a much slower rate it might not be so bad either, if we’re the last man standing; so long as we’re not under the threat of invasion, or Sharia law by then.

It’s a bit sad that such a large of wealth of oil ended up being under the feet of these radical muslim savages. It gave them the means to buy our western leaders and propagate it’s extremist sharia law ideology around the world. One can only hope that after the oil runs dry and it’s fortunes squandered that it’s once great influence will be just a dark footnote in the annals of history.

Igal said, “Saudi Arabia is bravely stepping into the 19th century.”

That was hilarious, Igal!
