The media did a character assassination of PM Harper. Bastards.

Style won over Substance, too bad for Canada.

Yousa, 60% didn’t vote for Trudeau. How undemocratic! I mean how can someone get a majority when 60% didn’t vote for him? That was your line wasn’t it? I guess you could say over 60% didn’t want Trudeau, so which one is worse? The incoming or the outgoing? Not sure I can trust you to do the math as you would have to wait a long time to calculate it. Sorry, he won’t be there that long.

Hey Mr. Ashfield, 70% of Canada won’t miss Harper. LOL!

I still am not sure what I think or thought of his legacy, but he has class and will be missed. Somehow I think he was really surprised by the results, or at least until the last 2 weeks. I mean who could have calculated that someone with half the intelligence of Dion would win. And yes, the cultural Marxism is alive and well. My wife spoke to a teen who though Harper was evil simply because his social studies teacher said so. I grew up in conservative Prince George, but even there many teachers were brainwashing our children. I told my daughter my reasons for my vote but told her don’t let anyone, not me, not a teacher, not the news, tell you how to vote. When I was a kid my social studies teacher brought in a local draft dodger as a guest to talk about the Vietnam war. Pretty much all the vocal students but myself thought the United States was the worst country in the world. I actually had to battle against my own teacher to provide a more balanced view, and I am not a gregarious person at all.

Thomas Kubik – he is speaking French because it is one of PET’s curses, that he left for English Canada, and is required of our PM . PET made certain that English Canadians, would not be working in the federal government, so now, even immigrants, qualify over English speaking Canadians. See how PET made sure that his beloved QB would be looked after by English Canada? What makes me happy, is that I’m sure even PET would have been horrified, at the thought of his kid being PM!

Why is he even speaking french? french people hate him, and i doubt there’s any even in the crowd. Anyone notice nobody clapped or cheered after he said the same thing he just said in french? even once?

As much as I hate to say this, and while have my doubts as to how effective it will be, I still believe that as a Christian it is my duty to hold up the new Government to God in prayer, and pray that God will grant Justin wisdom. God knows he sure needs it! This may be a time in the desert for us; God leaving us for a time to our own devices, because we’ve turned away from him as a people, and for our National sins (abortion, euthanasia, same sex marriage, family breakdown, hedonistic sexual agenda, drug abuse, etc.). One thing for sure, this didn’t come as a surprise to God. We need a National revival. If we humble ourselves, seek His face and turn from our wicked ways, God will heal our land.

I have NEVER respected a Prime Minister as much as I respected PM Mr. Harper.
You will be missed Sir, by more people than you think, and I will say more and more people will start to miss you as time goes by. They will start to wish that you were still at the Helm of the good ship Canada!

Peter Netterville – I was actually thinking a long the lines of tough love. I know when my kids didn’t listen to me, when I spoke to them, I often had to demonstrate what I meant, so that they never forgot what I was trying to teach them. I think the left are like children, and we need to take something of importance away, like modern plumbing, so that they understand, that opposing much needed ethical oil pipelines, will cause their standard of living to drop!

Canada has lost an honorable man in PM Stephen Harper. Thank you for giving of your time and talents to serve. You will be missed.
Once upon a time there was this beautiful, free country called Canada.
The End.

Deborah said, “Let’s give them what they want, start removing our modern conveniences, and then listen to the babies whine.”

Whaaaaaaat? You are not suggesting (gasp!) that they are hypocrites, are you? :o)
commented 2015-10-21 11:23:35 -0400
Maybe we need to discontinue modern plumbing too! Since those with an agenda hate pipelines, in actuality, they must hate living in a modern society. Let’s give them what they want, start removing our modern conveniences, and then listen to the babies whine.

@bravozulu – correct. There is nothing that east offers other that financial liability and french (another liability).
commented 2015-10-21 11:12:00 -0400
@ Bill Elder – In my opinion the west should become its own country – even if BC/Sask/Man do not join.

Build three ultra modern high tech refineries – worlds best high tech and environmentally as friendly as is possible – set them on the BC, Sask/Man/ON borders as required- and US borders.

Sell refined fuel to the neighbours at 2 cents less than world price – the time to do this is now and the oil price will eventually go up.

Interest rates are low.

People, companies and governments will want that fuel.

By the train load – because no one wants pipelines.

When pipes come run it down the pipes and watch Saudi and their evil brethren cry as their revenues fall.

Can this be done?

All it takes is the will to make it happen.

Screw the east – bring back let those “eastern bastards freeze in the dark”.
commented 2015-10-21 10:16:33 -0400
“The big tent” collapses – the west should beware of oligarch eastern interests taking over the conservative party as well as the liberal and NDP parties.

Rebelator2 said, “they have an uncanny ability to usually choose the
most unsuitable goods on offer as the new leader.”

If that be the case, then why was Harper in office for a few months shy of 10 years?
commented 2015-10-21 09:41:52 -0400
Regardless of the goodbyes, Harper may have been the genius beyond expectations. Harper’s campaign was lame. Key people left. The hatestream media was having a difficult time cupping pig troodo for all the stupid fuck shit this man child spewed.

Ever heard of the “gig – economy”? Have a boo : https://www.tastytrade.com/tt/shows/nailed-it/episodes/hidden-risks-of-sharing-economy-10-19-2015?locale=en-US

There are other examples on youtube. ( no wait, you can’t look at this until Canada’s hatestream media says it’s ok to – what a bunch of useless tits these hatestream media fucks are)

The “gig economy” translates into tanking goobamunt revenues. pig troodo and all the other communist fucks “re-invading Ottawa” will be running massive debts. Bondholders don’t like this as evidenced by those in NYC in the 1990s that told pig paul martin to get his fat ass back to Canada and fix the debt. He did – transfer cuts.

Bond holders will be running Canada soon and pig troodo will be Canada’s biggest embarrassment in history, much like that communist in the White House is to US history.

PETER NETTERVILLE, “He may not have been as blue Conservative as many would like”. True. However, as Theo Caldwell pointed out, Canada’s culture (as cultural Marxism continued its long march through the institutions, including the media) has “so completely drifted away from anything we used to know”. This did not happen overnight. Could you imagine, some 50 years ago what the faith would have been for a federal political party where it’s leader demanded that his party’s candidates must support abortion?
commented 2015-10-21 09:31:28 -0400
PM Harper you did us proud, and we are very grateful for your continued service to those in your riding, and your continued support of the conservative movement in Canada. You might be down, but only because those who have their own agenda, namely the Liberals, NDP and all of their hack men/women pulled out all the stops, to unseat you, based on blatant lies, and mistruths to the public. I believe all liars will be roasting in the fires of hell one day, so I look forward to when they are repaid for being the traitors to Canada that they are.

Margaret Thatcher told us that “First you win the argument, then you win the election”.
But the problem with “Conservative Party” members is that when they go to provincial
or federal leadership conventions they have an uncanny ability to usually choose the
most unsuitable goods on offer as the new leader.
Thatcher and Harper were outstanding exceptions to this curse.
Mike Harris got the job because all the smart money “knew” it was a hopeless task.
commented 2015-10-21 08:41:11 -0400
He may not have been as blue Conservative as many would like, me included, but he did an excellent job as PM in any case.

I wonder who will take on the leadership of the party at this point … Jason Kenny?
commented 2015-10-21 08:38:10 -0400
He certainly accepts defeat like the true statesman he is. He praises the choice of the people as “always being right.” He accepts full responsibility for the defeat. That is what a true leader does.
