Survivor: Boko Haram burns children alive in attack that kills 86

Scores of scorched bodies and corpses with bullet wounds reportedly littered the streets of Dalori village in northeastern Nigeria on Saturday night following an intense firebomb attack by the fanatical Islamic terrorist group known as Boko Haram — news agencies have said 86 people, including children, were killed.

A survivor who hid in a tree during the attack said he watched as Boko Haram fighters firebombed huts with people inside and heard the screams of children burning to death, the Associated Press reports.

According to various news outlets, Colonel Mustapha Anka, a spokesperson for the Nigerian army, said: “[the assailants arrived] in two cars and on motorcycles, they opened fire then set light to homes.” Three female suicide bombers who had at first attempted to blend in with the villagers “were intercepted, then blew themselves up.”

The violence sweeping the village, which is located just 5 kilometres from Maiduguri, the birthplace of Boko Haram and the largest city in Nigeria’s northeastern region, reportedly continued for nearly four hours until army reinforcements arrived with heavier weapons.

The European Union, which claims to maintain its commitment to supporting African states in the fight against the menace posed by regional Islamist groupings, quickly issued a loose condemnation of the attack.

The rather sterile statement from the EU, published by the MailOnline, reads: “The EU remains committed to providing a comprehensive range of political, development and humanitarian support to Nigeria and the region in tackling this threat and in ensuring the sound development of the region.”

Founded in 2002, Boko Haram, which has created havoc in Africa's most populous country, believes in a radical form of Islam which makes it "haram", or against Islamic law, for Muslims to participate in any political or social activity associated with the Western world. Voting in elections, wearing shirts and pants or receiving a secular education are strictly forbidden, according to the BBC.

The group has pledged its allegiance to the Islamic State.

What a stark contrast in the world’s reaction between the deaths of westerners and many times more Africans. Apparently black lives matter a lot less when they’re in Africa.

Sean Penson what a retard troll you are. Trying to get a reaction. Well here’s mine.
Keep up the posts because we get a kick out of your fucked up English. Could we have an English to English translation please?

These are demons not human beings!

Funny how JT never, ever mentions Boko Haram. I guess it’s not nice to say bad things about your friends.

I’ll bet the area is peaceful now…everyone is dead…“the religion of peace”…if that’s was what we wanted, I can’t believe we tried to stop nuclear war…it would have brought peace earlier…

William M, we are not the world police; we can’t be everywhere. The US isn’t the police either. Radical Islam hasn’t hurt Canada, and now that Harper is gone, it won’t! We have a leader that breathes comfort to those who disagree with us. It’s unfortunate for the mishap, but there is nothing that can or should be done

Sean Penson. You dunce. Shame is something your conscience tells you that you did something wrong.
This is nothing short of slaughtering innocent children by fire and by guns, which is a crime against humanity.
If we don’t belong there then not one fuking muslim belongs in Canada.

I agree with you Sean… it is shameful and despicable however Those people have been settling their own affairs for thousands of years and we do not belong there and they do not belong here.

It’s a shameful act, but it’s not even our business. We don’t belong there.

ClimateFallacy.
I agree. Because even if a Muslim is raised moderate, simply being in the religion, attending the Mosques, puts them at least half way there, and a much shorter distance to radicalization than if they simply adopted another religion, or no religion for that matter.

The “guests” in our country won’t change and neither will Justin Trudeau.. It is going to be a long very long 3 1/2 years unless he does the honorable thing and steps down or somebody steps up and fires him from his elected position as Canada’s head civil-servant…

These savages are worse than any animal species that I know about. Killing innocent children in the name of Allah or whoever relegates these cowards to become targets for our CF-18 aircraft. Trudeau——pay attention!

Love the usual boiler plate response and the usual suspects run wild: "“The EU remains committed to providing a comprehensive range of political, development and humanitarian support to Nigeria and the region in tackling this threat and in ensuring the sound development of the region.” All so comforting to the people that suffer, and us as we watch our very own crown prince of bungling gamble with our fate.

Let us hope that Trudeau dose not read this article, lest he adds Boko Haram and his gang of savages, to his list of potential immigrants.

This is beyond tragic. I think we’ll also see more women being used as the ‘dispensable’ suicide bombers rather than wasting any of the men.

These acts are justified by Muslims, because Boko Haram is doing nothing less that what Muhammad Snackbar did 60 times over, except that mo-ham-head-oink-oink would have had sex with the children first before beheading and immolating them.

The Muslims that don’t support this are false believers of Islam for not following Moe’s example.

Muslims, denounce your faith in this death cult now, and fight to condemn it with all your heart, and stop indoctrinating your children with a vile hate of humanity.
