According to a number of news reports, many of the Syrian refugees Trudeau’s government rushed in to Canada are relying on food banks to survive and being denied the language training they need, to help them secure employment.
This news won’t come as a surprise to those of us who have been following this vanity project of the Trudeau Liberals from the beginning.
Of course, many private agencies and charitable organizations are stepping in to try to assist. But, is this the better life that Trudeau proudly proclaimed Canadians wanted to give them?
The fact is, by rushing to meet the arbitrary deadline designed to make the Liberals look like they cared more than that crusty old Stephen Harper, the Liberals have actually put these people in a precarious position as we approach “month 13”, when social assistance from the government will be cut off.
Is there any denying that if the program had moved slower as was advised by many who saw this coming, the refugees and Canadian taxpayers would all have been better off?
