Teachers spend PD day doing yoga, knitting and baking cookies?

Jason & MattRebel Commentators

High school teachers in Durham District School Board spent a professional development day swapping cookies, crocheting, fishing, knitting, doing yoga and role-playing in an adventure escape room.

We investigate the relevance of these activities by chatting with educational correspondent Gabriel Moore.

Not that I am suspicious or anything—- but, could the words "swapping cookies, crocheting, fishing, knitting, doing yoga and role-playing in an adventure escape room " be Euphemisms for Anal Sex ?

I will bet that 90% of the teachers forced to attend this PD Day by the school board and union were themselves wondering WTF, and would have preferred to be in the classroom. Or if it was a scheduled day without students, to spend it researching lessons, marking, drafting plans, making tests, and whatever else is related to teaching. The other 10% would have been the board and union shills that are uninterested in education and what it entails…like students, lessons, marking, etc.

Yep and every round of pay raises for these lazy unionized teacher lumps sucks out another $3BILLION from the Ontario economy. $3BILLON each each that increases $3BILLION every three years.

Just another example of the financial raping of Ontario citizens. Rot in hell Wynne.

Its a team building exercise, for those who in some other life will work as a team with those other teachers. And its a way for Gov’t to waste money saying they are constructing a better environment. I’d bet you their money that if you gave them a option of going home with that money and not staying, while considering the worth while nature of such a project, 99.9% of them would hit the door so fast, Team would be spelt , swoosh.

Jason and Matt. You two have a good thing going here. You two are the first people I have seen turning PC into comedy. Keep up the good work. I am looking forward to your next skit. Cheers
