9 billion to Quebec for their yearly welfare cheque and how many more millions for their corporate subsidies. if only bombardier was in the west. it would have to stand on its own legs or fail. but never Quebec eh trudeau. wonder why we so utterly hate the eastern puke in the west, and their commie puke media that his lapdog

While the regional jet market is going to be huge in the future, there are indications that Russia, China, Brazil, India, etc. are planning on being major players. One Russian entry has a high level of Boeing involvement which will be a big advantage.

One of Bombardier’s minor efforts involved the Iltis contract for the infamous “Canadian Forces chosen vehicle” back in the
Chretienisaurus Era. That saga was fairly simple. Rather than buying the dubious product directly from VW, an assembly facility set up in Quebec managed to put shipped in kits together at twice the cost of the ready made Geman product.
Around the same time several countries found it necessary to default on Humvee contracts placed with the American
builder and Canada likely could have taken them at fire sale prices, but the usual suspects said noooooooooo way.

Curious as to the success of the Liberals in the recent election.
Here is an older post from Monkton of Benchly, check the 28 minute mark. Now I am not a conspiracy theorist, but such blatant predictions that come true seem most to suggest there is more than meets the eye here. Who knows.
