Trending bias: Facebook highlights Clinton's weak “delete your account” tweet despite Trump's savage counter

Facebook has been accused of using its trending section to target right-wing presidential candidates and having a left-wing bias.

Now, after a weak insult by Clinton followed by an amazing counter by Trump, Facebook has decided to focus on... the weak insult.

Yesterday on Twitter, Hillary Clinton tweeted to Donald Trump “delete your account” after Trump said that, “Obama just endorsed Crooked Hillary. He wants four more years of Obama—but nobody else does!”

Trump would have nothing of Clinton's little insult and fired back with, “How long did it take your staff of 823 people to think that up--and where are your 33,000 emails that you deleted?”

Clearly Trump won the exchange, but that did not stop the left-wing media from focusing on Clinton's tweet instead of Trump's.

Facebook's trending section's brief writeup of the #DeleteYourAccount hashtag included no mention of Trump's savage return of fire.

No mention at all of the two getting into an exchange. Instead, Facebook acts like Clinton scored a knockout blow. She didn't.

Considering the fact Clinton had no response, it's clear Trump won the exchange. But Facebook won't tell you that.

Trump’s return salvo simply lacked any zing. In person, he might have done better (possibly invoking Mexicans) but he doesn’t manage his Twitter account. That response was tired and lame.

It’s not a good idea for Clinton to take on Trump on Twitter.

Everytime she retweets everything Trump tweets, she just ramps up his exposure.

Worse, Trump is better at Twitter than Clinton. That’s because Clinton has staff covering her Twitter account and they are not personally invested in what they tweet. Trump, on the other hand, uses Twitter as a weapon of mass destruction, and it’s an effective weapon. This has been proved too many times already.

""The time has come," the Walrus said,
“To talk of many things:
Of shoes—and ships—and sealing-wax—
Of cabbages—and kings—
And why the sea is boiling hot—
And whether pigs have wings.”

I am reminded of these lines from “Jabberwocky” Perhaps the time has come to think about “deleting” my Facebook page and account because of the inherent bias that I perceive in their support of the “lefties”!

I’m so glad that I don’t do Facebook! It’s just a modern propaganda spewing machine!
