Trudeau puts $36B energy project at risk -- for the sake of “global warming”

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Have you heard about the Pacific NorthWest LNG project? A $36 billion energy deal, with tons of jobs-growth potential, could be thrown away -- if Trudeau's band of social justice warriors keep going down the same path.

NEXT: Edmonton Sun Columnist Lorne Gunter has lots to say about Alberta Premier Notley's Throne Speech -- none of it good.

THEN: Breitbart London's Raheem Kassam joins us to talk about the UK's possible "Brexit" and what it might mean for the European Union.

FINALLY: Your letters to me about my trip to Europe!

If you want to see why this “green energy” push is such a crock read – Power Hungry, The Myths of “Green” Energy And The Real Fuels Of The Future – By Robert Bryce. If they were really interested in lowering carbon emissions then they’d be pushing natural gas & nuclear. Wind & solar aren’t viable.

Ron C is being a typical left wing loser, running out of arguments so he insults. WAAAAHHH the Rebel tells the truth and makes me cry.
Yes Ron still waiting for your so called lies , please elucidate?

David tremblay that is BS , and Harpers worst year was a horrible year for the whole world and he lowered taxes, PET raped ALberta for over 100 billion and still made record debt worse than Harper ever did LMAO! An dof cpourse you are too dense to realize the Ontario libs created more debt over Harpers term than the feds did LMAO! And Justin will top him in a shorter time. I can hardly wait for your pathetic excuses.

You are predicting that I am going to be forking over money for the pay wall?
commented 2016-03-10 19:16:47 -0500
Sammy boy,

I think you have mistaken the Rebel audience for people who give a bowel movement about what you think? You can go to bed tonight and sleep soundly knowing we don’t.

Except I’m sure you’ll come to life under a new persona, paying the pay wall. I understand your type do not understand about paying for property, but you will not resist.

Sammie Young, since you are obviously not going on the cruise, it really is none of your business what they are going to talk about.
commented 2016-03-10 18:17:36 -0500
What do you people expect is going to happen on the cruise or those producers club meetings? Are you going to talk about the number of rebel studio bricks you purchased? Will you bitch about Trudeau and Obama? Or maybe you can talk about Ezra’s Gypsy rant.

I’m retired and just signed up at $80.00 per year it’s to bad I don’t live near the cities that the Rebel will be holding their special events that is why I did not pay for the $250.00 option.
Are you going on the cruise Nov 20 th I am but I will be paying only $699.00 for my cabin. If you would like to Know how e mail

It turns out that I do support much of what the rebel does. It is just that I do not feel sufficiently motivated to open my wallet due to Ezra having a bad business plan. Look at all the people that struck it rich doing Youtube videos. They got there by having minimal overhead and huge amounts of viewers. Not once do these Youtube millionaires ask people to help them with their finances. Ezra would have been better off just doing videos in his own living room.

And if you are a producer now, shouldn’t you have some say? Maybe you can convince Ezra to give you producers a little private section on this website, locked far away from non payers like myself. After all, you should demand to get something for paying that much more than everybody else.

Enjoy your producers discount on rebel store merchandise. Suckers.

@ David Trembley – “In fact Harper had the largest total deficits in Canadian history.”

Oh how the left love to lie by omission.

When Harper ran that deficit, it was during the worst recession since the Great Depression. Convenient fact to leave out. But then, that fact would ruin your narrative, wouldn’t it David.

Richard Wakefield said, “… and commenting.”

Unfortunately they can still comment. This article thread is an example how they can still post comments.

Robert Caugill said, “As more and more scientific evidence and weather related disasters point to the effects of climate change …”

What scientific data? Please do tell. And btw, there are less natural disasters of all types in the last two decades than there were in previous decades.

But Robert, please do not let the real facts (not the environuts “facts”) get in your way.
commented 2016-03-10 16:39:13 -0500
Dale Warren, the projected deficit this year will be small compared to Harper’s 60 billion deficit that he had a few years ago. In fact Harper had the largest total deficits in Canadian history. Very easy to look up but I’m sure you don’t care about facts. Facts also prove that there are zero scientists that don’t believe that climate change is being accelerated by humans unless you only listen to those paid by big oil to say otherwise.

Nice thing about subscription means the leftist trolls wont be watching and commenting.
commented 2016-03-10 16:32:09 -0500
SAM YOUNG, your choice. I signed up for the $250 a year. The Rebel is far too important at this early stage to not support the only rational media outlet in Canada. They will grow, and with it their ability to generate revenue.

As more and more scientific evidence and weather related disasters point to the effects of climate change the pro fossil fuel energy rantings of EL et all will be shown for what they really are.

Robert, there is absolutely nothing abnormal happening in the climate, nothing. There is no empirical evidence CO2 changes the climate. It exists only in flawed computer models.

No, I will not be paying eight dollars every month for a subscription. Especially not when I can spend that money and time on netflix instead. Hmmm. Rebel or Netflix. That is not a hard decision.

When it comes to internet channels, it is not a matter of comparing the rebel to the old media outlets, such as the newspaper or the mainstream media. It is about comparing the rebel to other internet channels that happen to be free.

I can go to Russia Today, Fox news, Democracy Now, etc, and not have to see them grovel for money.

Don’t you people get sick and tired of the petitions and polls? Every week, I can count on the rebel to launch a new website. The money that you people fork over for billboard ads and radio spots are nothing more than you paying for the rebel to advertise itself.

Is Bob fired? Is Obama impeached? Are trans gender people banned from using the Alberta school washrooms that they identify with? All those websites and petitions do nothing, except to promote the rebel. And I assure you, that the carbon tax is coming, regardless of what effort the rebel makes.

There is a way to be profitable by running an internet channel without charging viewers for money. Ezra just has not figured it out how to do it.

Trudough is in Washington getting his Marching Orders from Obama . . . after all he helped the big kid out in the Election last October. He is welcoming little Pierre to the Obama Depression . . . I bet he will even show Justin how to Double the DEBT !

@ caughell
Climate has Always Changed . . . do you recall when it did not?
CO2 does not cause “Weather Events” . . .in fact Hurricanes in the US are at a 50 year low.
NASA satellite data proves . . . no Warming Since 1998 .. . .
But Globalists, the UN and Leftist Politicians see Billions of dollars dancing in their eyes as they fleece the taxpayer and destroy economies.

As more and more scientific evidence and weather related disasters point to the effects of climate change the pro fossil fuel energy rantings of EL et all will be shown for what they really are. Its like trying to save the horse and buggy tradition when most people are buying cars. Their self interest propelled hypocrisy is being exposed daily.

SAM YOUNG commented 10 hours ago
What say I? Well, I did not pay for the membership.

And one more thing, Ezra. Why do you insist on interviewing the same people from the same organizations over and over again? If people are going to pay you for your show, the least you can do is get some new guests.

Hey Sam, you obviously haven’t been watching for the last week. The people Ezra interviewed in Europe don’t work for The Rebel and have not been seen by any MSM reporters. I feel my subscription helps to fund the stories not covered by anyone else. If a lawyer like you with a 6 figure salary can’t afford a subscription, I will pay it for you myself just to be able to discredit your controversial rants easily.

Sam Young just likes to make provocative comments for attention. Sometimes The odd time I address his assertions but the rest of the time I just hope he didn’t reproduce.

Who could possibly complain about $8/month subscription to The Rebel? Where else is one to get honest reporting on the news? I actually try to watch at least a little bit of CBC news nightly just to witness all the baloney they try to pawn off to their gullible viewers….only usually I become so disgusted, I just can’t stand it anymore.
commented 2016-03-10 13:10:38 -0500
@ Anna – The CBC was the only one that let it through? Well, that’s refreshingly different. The moderator might have been half asleep as comments from conservatives are usually “Content Disabled”.
