Two "Mohameds" shoot up a Calgary bar, and NO ONE in the Media Party says the word "terrorism"

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Late Saturday night in Calgary, Canada, two Muslim men, Mohamed Salad and Mohamed Elmi, drove up to a bar. One of the Mohameds walked up to the door and shot in.

A 38-year old man inside the bar was hit by the bullet and was rushed to the hospital.

Bouncers and police subdued the shooter. Then another thug got out of the car, and tries to pull his friend away from the bouncers until police tackle him too.

So two Mohameds are charged with attempted murder and firearms offences.

How did this story get covered in the mainstream media?

I'll show you the front page of the newspaper of record in Calgary today. Big story about Leonardo DiCaprio at the top. Their main story is about traffic court. Seriously.

If you look on the left hand side of the page, you can see a microscopic mention: “Bouncers tackle gunman at Beltline night club." That’s it.

If you go to the story inside the newspaper, you have to read all the way down to the 25th paragraph before you get to the name of the accused — the two Mohameds.

I examined literally 15 news stories — CBC, CTV, Canadian Press, etc., on this, and not one of them mentioned the word terrorism, even though the police said it was a possibility.

To me, that’s the really scary news out of Calgary. Not that two Mohameds shot up a bar. But that every journalist in the country did their level best to avoid talking about terrorism.

Glenn Craig, at the very least you could use Cpl Nathan Cirillo’s name properly, that would be respectful; I have no idea what you mean about Cpl Cirillo’s widow, she lost her husband in a horrific cowardly act (the culprit didn’t have the guts to face him, he snuck up from behind) & I wouldn’t ask or expect anything from the poor woman…

From where I sit the incident in Moncton was far more a terrorist attack than a deranged with a hunting rifle…

I like a lot of Ezra Levant’s material and I get what he is saying about journalists avoiding the use of the word terrorism or jihadists but he is DEAD wrong about the Calgary Police not specifying whether it is terrorism related or not. The NEXT DAY after the shooting the Calgary Police took to their twitter account and stated, “BASED ON THE INVESTIGATION THUS FAR, THERE ARE NO INDICATIONS THAT DOWNTOWN SHOOTING WAS TERRORISM RELATED.” The NEXT day nn Facebook, the Calgary Police stated, “WE CAN CONFIRM, BASED ON THE KNOWN PRIOR HISTORY OF THE MEN CHARGED AND INVESTIGATIONAL STEPS TAKEN THUS FAR, THAT THERE ARE NO INDICATIONS THAT THIS SHOOTING WAS TERRORISM RELATED.” Based on the Tweet and Facebook post perhaps we shouldn’t jump to conclusions based on a Muslim name and immediately make a video about possible relations to terrorism without having all the facts. Perhaps this time the local journalist did their due diligence and looked at all the information that was being provided by the Calgary Police; maybe.

Just another day in Trudakistan. I am becoming convinced more every day that Trudeau hates “real” Canadians. It gives me a gut wrenching twist in my stomach every day that Canada has to drudge through another day with the boy king in office. His continual condemnation of Canadians who stand on truth against radicalism and his chronic adherence to Islamic ideology while attempting to oppress freedom of speech in our country proves he is hazardous. These were Muslim attackers plain and simple who randomly opened fire as soon as they opened the door to the bar, hitting an innocent bystander with a bullet. They would have killed more if it were not for the bouncers who took them down.

Boris – the media and politicians are being paid by the UN to take down our democracies, by overwhelming our countries with terrorists, for their one world government. It’s the UN’s Agenda 21 plan being played out here on the world stage. Armageddon is on the horizon, and don’t forget how it all plays out, the good guys win!

I’m looking at what’s happening in Europe where these savages are referred to as Merkel’s Migrants and this woman is pushing Germany to CIVIL WAR! I think we need to call ours “TRUDEAU’S TERRORISTS!” STOP MUSLIM IMMIGRATION NOW! They don’t want to integrate, they are here to SUBJUGATE all peoples of the WORLD in the name of their god!

It is not being reported as terrorism because there is zero evidence that it was terrorism. Isn’t there a huge hint in the story that a squad car from the gangs unit was across the street? So many people with so much hatred just waiting to hate monger at so many imagined problems.

Mr Fitzpatrick……until I see your comments endorsed by the widow of Nathan Furillo I will paraphrase Ralph Waldo Emerson…that which these victims of the white male cis-gendered la-te-da-te-da-teda do speaks so loudly I cannot hear what you say.

Some former collegue of mine at Veterans Affairs had to deal with that file…with that widow….that is not a political narrative that is rubber meets the road reality.

Across the street from Veterans Affairs headquarters in Charlottetown there is a Tim Hortens…..one of the people we used to see in there frequently was an African immigrant who was missing both of his hands….apparently he had the stones to defy a warlord who was trying to conscript him.

That sort of refugee…and whomever among his family we can get out of those Hell holes has my full support…..the ones who bring it with them do not.

I do not need your political correction Commrad Fitzpatrick ….haul your commisar ass back to the Liberal Party Politboro

Jack, what makes you think the culprit was a Muslim?

Are you saying that the pepper spraying shouldn’t be condemned?
commented 2016-01-12 16:13:45 -0500
What J Kay just wrote. Every political blowhard in the country was quick to condemn Muslims being pepper sprayed in Vancouver. But should it be discovered that a Muslim did the spraying, there won’t be a peep out of them and the media will bury it too.

Just to add, the car they’re driving looks like an older model Coralla or Nissan, ever bought a car on credit?
Only one person had a gun, the gun had been altered & the serial numbers were filed off; if this were a terrorist attack, why only one gun? Why only one shooter, why did the guy in the back seat come out & go back in the car to remove his coat?
The driver is pulled out without incident, hardly what we’ve seen from other ‘terrorist attacks’…

don morris commented 4 hours ago, Meanwhile, in Vancouver a group of Muslim immigrants was briefly pepper sprayed by a guy on a bicycle, and they have heard apologies from the Mayor,Premier, and Prime Minister. The entire Province, according to the media," reels in shock" and shame over this terrible,earth-shattering incident.
And if I hear Trudeau say one more time, ‘This isn’t how we are.", I’ll throw up!

He bought a used Toyota for $650, never got plates & ‘borrowed it’ for a day. The rifle was not most likely stolen, while I can’t disagree that he was a religious fanatic, you can’t deny he had mental issues probably brought on from years of hard core drug use, Bourque from Moncton killed 3 RCMP officers, held the town hostage for a week but no one dared call that Terrorism…

I would like to add that the word “homeless” invokes compassion….but the phrase “of no fixed address” on a police arrest warrant does not.
commented 2016-01-12 14:16:01 -0500
Mr Fitzpatrick…that car they were driving doesn’t fit your poverty narative…it doesn’t look like the sort of old Chrysler you would get a deal on in Mexico….they didn’t look poorly dressed nor poorly fed either. Pistols cost on average $1000 retail on the legal market……black market is probably double that or more.

That Winchester 94 that the parliament hill TERRORIST used costs $1500 and rarely less than $500 used on the legal market but he was not licensed to buy one legally so that poor marginalized homeless man didn’t have his budget priorities straight…..but it ain’t terrorism according to leftards even if the perp says it is in his video manifesto declared minutes before he died.

Oh BTW….he had just purchased the car…..not doing too bad for a poor homeless guy.

I don’t hate the former Prime Minister Harper, he lead my country for 10 years & I thank him for his service, did I agree with him on some issues, no, so what…

We have the same problem in Ottawa with gangs, not Muslim groups, not terrorist groups, poor, unemployed people that are put into ‘projects’ where there is little to no work, no support & very little hope.

Thanks Terence Fitzpatrick for warning us about Ezra. Does not a a Liberal sandbox await somewhere? Harper hatred is sooooo passe.
We have had several instances in Calgary of Somali violence and murder convictions. They have been linked to gang violence, personal connection with the victim, sometimes their violence was an apparent result, continuation of religious conflict being played out here. Where there have been gang related shootings with “Mohameds etc” it comes up quickly that there is a link between perpetrator/s and victim/s. It is possible that the club is a place that they expected to find their target but it does seem suspicious that the guy would walk in gun a blazing rather than head for his rival target/s. It will be interesting to hear what comes out. Just don’t expect Mayor Nenshi to comment on the issue with any clarity or fairness.

Alright William, so any crime committed should be seen as an act of Terrorism, I get it…

Gangs come out of poverty & hopelessness just like it did in the Bowery, like it did during the dust bowl, like it did in Chicago with Al Capone, gangs are nothing new, nor have the story lines. It’s just the ethnicity that changes over time. The Irish, the Italians were treated like scum in the USA, drunks, stupid, no good, send them back, the difference between you & me is that I can see that it’s not related to any religious background & you can’t see anything but religion because like a good little soldier for Ezra, you need to support the fear mongering..

Hey Terrence Fitzpatrick: You are screwed in the head buddy and you should be the first one to F off back to you hole where you belong, you degenerate muslim. Screw you and the horse you rode in with…

It’s the same story in every city across Canada, (Ho Hum) The guns & gangs unit is investigating, the perps were known to police, and the victim is not co-operating. Any self respecting news(?) organization should report that the perps have rap sheet as long as your arm and have been released over and over again by our liberal judges. Scum like Terrence need to remove the veil from their eyes and see this is terrorism not because of the names but the act. Put the buggers away and keep them put away at least until our new PM does away with mandatory minimums. Does anybody feel safe yet?

Their names are Mohamed & that’s all you need, can’t you see Ezra is playing you people, he’s a sleazy snake oil salesman..

The media is under strict orders from our selfie PM to not point out any transgressions put on to Canadians by any of his beloved Muslim terrorists. The left complained Harper was a dictator yet he did not sensor information as is being done by our selfie PM. It is the Liberal way to ignore and hope it goes away. Justin is a traitor to this country and is failing on the security file. I’m guessing he was too busy playing the role of middle class Canadian paying out 30K on a vacation only a rich bastard like him could afford than to pay attention to what his beloved Muslims are doing. I’d like to know who was with JT on vacation and did JT offer any special incentives to those who attended his big vacation stump. It is the Liberal way to grease all your fiends and family.

Andrew Stephenson apologized: "
It’s not terrorism. It’s a nightclub shooting. Same thing happens all the time, as sad as that may be. Just because they’re named “Mohammad” does not make it into terrorism." Regardless, it is still a crime! The actions whether motivated by religion or gang tendencies are still terrorism! It will be interesting to see how our lefty justice system treats these two persons because of their names……..! Watch for the religion card (victim status) to get played!

“Mohamad Salad”, anyone knows the recipe? Can you add pork?
