Anti-oil lobbyist fumes over Enbridge ads on Air Canada flight, calls for "a Timmies redux"

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

A US funded anti-oil lobbyist named Tzeporah Berman was flying on an Air Canada jet the other day -- stop to think about that -- when she tweeted angrily about having to "sit thru [sic] Enbridge commercials."

She added:

"@SumofUs where r u? We need a Timmies redux".

SumOfUs were that group that pressured Tim Hortons to stop running in-store Enbridge ads earlier this year.

You might remember our reports on that, and our counter-campaign, BoycottTims.

SumOfUs are based in New York, and last year they got over $350,000 last year from San Francisco's anti-oil Tides Foundation.

So with Berman and her tweets, what does that add up to? A bunch of brazen American dirty tricksters using Air Canada as a club to beat up a Canadian oil company!

And remember that LeadNow is getting American money to interfere in the Canadian federal election.

If you didn't hear about any of this in the rest of the media, you shouldn't be surprised...

The comments of Tzeporah Berman remind us of a similar situation.

Gideon Forman operated as a non-expert fund-raiser for the repugnant Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment ( CAPE ). He is now employed by David Suzuki Foundation. Forman is listed among Canada’s prominent anti-pesticide activists. He has been a principal architect in the conspiracy to prohibit against pest control products used in the urban landscape in province like Ontario. Because in large part to Forman’s acts of subversion, the 2009 Ontario prohibition led to loss of revenues, business failures, bankruptcy, and unemployment throughout the professional lawn care industry. Because of the 2009 Ontario prohibition, professional lawn care businesses were forced to terminate many or most of their employees. The devastation of the professional lawn care industry was extensive because there were no valid economical alternatives to replace the prohibited products. Consequently, professional lawn care businesses were unable to provide adequate weed and insect control, and were unable to keep their customers satisfied. The Ontario professional lawn care industry lost over 500,000,000 dollars, with over 12,500 unemployed. Moreover, because of prohibition, Ontario green spaces became over-run with weeds, infested with insects, and dismally destroyed ― they looked like garbage dumps. This carnage was, in large part, due to Forman’s acts of subversion, which violated the terms of his organizations charity tax-exempt status. For years, Forman has been highly instrumental throughout the nation in changing public policies pertaining to the use of pest control products. Moreover, Forman has brazenly bragged about his involvement in anti-pesticide prohibition. Please go to the links below …

Gideon Forman tells how the Ministry of the Environment directed CAPE on how to Ban Cosmetic Pesticides In Ontario.

The difference between liberals and conservatives is that liberals believe you’re entitled to your opinion as long as it’s the same as theirs. Conservatives on the other hand believe you’re entitled to your opinion even if it’s contrary to theirs but then you’re an idiot. ©PTaalman 2015…which then leads me to conclude that conservatives are more liberal than liberals because at least conservatives are liberal enough to allow people to have an opposing opinion while liberals are too conservative to allow people to have their own opinion. The reality is that we ALL are a part of the problem when it comes to the environment. We all live here taking advantage of the world’s resources. The only way to stop being a part of the problem is to kill yourself right now and end your contribution to the problem. But then comes another dilemma: do we bury you as the toxic waste you are or do we cremate you adding to carbon pollution? Cheers!

So many here have been engaging our resident troll, but nobody’s taken him to task for his original statement: “It doesn’t mean you are a hypocrite if you want people to use LESS of something – because it causes problems or it’s better to focus on an alternative.” The problem Jimmy is that she, and you, and Pierre’s son, and every other idiotic anti-Canadian oilpatch-hating moron, is that it isn’t Enbridge’s fault. No more than it’s Burger King’s fault for fat people. How does wanting people to use less of something turn into blaming the supplier of that thing that you think (other) people need to use less of? Enbridge wouldn’t even bother to advertise if it wasn’t under constant attack by those like you who add 2 plus 2 and get tar. If you want to blame someone for urging the end user to use more of it then go after the fuel companies, the people that Enbridge sells to instead of the raw supplier. If anyone’s to blame other than the end user, it’s those who advertise to urge their customers to buy more of the product. I never heard of Enbridge before these silly green wars. And yet they’re the bad guy. I wonder if you or her would have a problem if Gazprom advertised in Timmy’s, or the Saudi oil company? No, I take that back. The answer’s pretty obvious. Protests are for Canadian oil companies only, foreign oil companies are the ones paying for the protests so nobody can complain about them! How much are you getting to shill for Putin, Jimmy? I’m fighting for my job and the jobs of pretty much everyone I know. Got any relatives in Russia, Jimmy?

You can bet, the root source of all that money, is coming from Saudi Arabia. Canadian oil is not as dirty as Saudi money and it is a lot cleaner than Muslim Dirty Tricks.

Where does the frizzled headed bint think the fuel for the jet she was riding in comes from? Unless it runs on Tim Horton’s Dark Roast? Or maybe she shoulda taken the carbon fuel free flight? It only took 120 hours from Japan to Hawaii…
Since the Tim’s boycott I have yet to stop in for even a single coffee, even though I drive past one every morning. Strangely I don’t miss it one little “Bit”.

The difference between what they did at Tim Hortons and what they’re trying to do at Air Canada, is that Oil Executives don’t necessarily buy Tim Hortons…so Timmies…didn’t CARE. However, the large number of Oil executives and employees that FILL the Business Class Cabins of Air Canada flights to Lima, Bogota, Buenos Aires, Aberdeen, Saudi, UAE, etc. and back…would NOT appreciate their business being REJECTED by Air Canada……and would likely DEMONSTRATE this….by flying some of the NEW routes opening up on other airlines …..which, by the way….are LESS expensive, even in “Business-First” Class…..than over-priced Air Canada.

They will sabotage our economy when they have the opportunity like the NDP’s doing to Alberta. Albertans wake up you have to vote the right government! NBow they will leave us crawling…..crawling…..
commented 2015-08-27 18:58:18 -0400
Jimmy, are you paid by foreign interests to sabatage the Canadian economy.
commented 2015-08-27 18:14:06 -0400
It’s a nice wish Charles, but impossible I think.
commented 2015-08-27 17:44:24 -0400
Hey Jimmy!! Flip over to Ezra’s article about the HRC – No Infidels Allowed – and, as the “resident Lefty”, explain to us your OBSESSION with Muslims – k? See you over there!
commented 2015-08-27 17:44:05 -0400
I guess you are correct Hyacinth, it is just. I wish just once, the crazy left side would stand on their side, and make a true argument with out being a complete crazy about it…
commented 2015-08-27 17:35:03 -0400
Charles I apologize for the previous interruption and this one as well, but I must ask, do you really believe that Jimmy will give you an “honest” straight answer? I reviewed several of his posts on other articles and its a game to him. He baits people into a discussion then turns abusive if he is losing the conversation/debate. All he is doing is regurgitating left wing propaganda in various forms on the Rebel site. Same type of lefty sentiments and hostility is on the CBC blogs, Yahoo blogs, NP, Star, etc. I honestly don’t believe it is worth wasting time on him anymore.
commented 2015-08-27 17:15:17 -0400
Hyacinth, I know what you are saying, but I want an answer from the left… If all they can do is throw at me is something green, then it shows me how bad the left really is… It is like they want to destabilize the west nations…
commented 2015-08-27 17:12:03 -0400
Sorry Jimmy the question was;

Why do you have such a hard on for the oil industry in this country? The industry is safe and secure and has the highest standards in the world and it doesn’t fund terrorist groups that want to harm us and our children…
commented 2015-08-27 17:01:27 -0400
Jimmy is a bigot period. According to him he is always right don’t you know.
commented 2015-08-27 16:57:31 -0400
Now Jimmy, back to this post…

Why do you have such a hard on for the oil industry in this country? It is save it is secure and it doesn’t find terror…
commented 2015-08-27 16:43:14 -0400
No Jimmy, you are incorrect in that statement, even you have to see the MSM one sided crap… Let’s not even bring politics in to the conversation, let’s say we bring in race… Now look what happened to the white French (last name) family that was in Calgary, the MSM didn’t (not even once) discuss the matter… But are you going to tell me, that if it was a black family, in a white area and this happened… That the MSM wouldn’t be out for blood… You state that, I don’t believe in free speech and that gays are sub human, all because of my conservative mind set… I told you weeks back that I have gay relatives and that I have the same feelings for them as I do for anyone else in my family… You stated may times that I am the loser, because I vote for life over right to choose, if the woman is harmed she has the right, if the woman has health problems she has the right… But if the woman is just using it as birth control that is not right… Why you ask??? Because most women that do this sort of thing, don’t discuss the matter with the father and ask if he wants to keep the child… It takes two to produce not just one…

As you can see Jimmy, I am opened minded and not some religious freak that preaches on a soap box… Oh yea by the way, I do believe in evolution… Unlike many of your statements that said, all conservative minded people are Christian freaks…

“I am sure you are aware of Who Killed The Electric Car?” Really? Last I checked, Tesla was alive and very well…………………..!
commented 2015-08-27 16:24:31 -0400
Assume for a nano second that “Soy Sauce” could replace fuel oil to power our society. What would happen? It is almost a given that the crazy lefties would protest this “new fuel” as production would shift to fuels making it less available for their stir fried rice!!
commented 2015-08-27 16:07:37 -0400

I haven’t abused you.

And how are you conservatives any different? Unless it comes from Ezra’s mouth, it’s wrong or a liberal conspiracy or MSM lies. Don’t act like you are open minded to liberal views or that you are able to be objective and critical against conservatives.

Where is your level head? I mean shit – you guys argue with Joan, who is also a conservative – but apparently “not conservative enough” or “fake conservative”.
commented 2015-08-27 16:07:07 -0400
I’ve said it before and will say again. Time to stop being polite and civil. Use Lawfare against these lefty whackos!

Charles, Jimmy has lost all arguments so he has resorted to insults . Enough said
commented 2015-08-27 15:28:57 -0400
Jimmy you have got to be kidding… There are lots of level headed conservatives on the Rebel… I for one don’t like Sarah Palin… She is a hipacrit and doesn’t believe in anything but her self…

You on the other hand can’t answer one question without asking another, you seriously can’t have a stable conversation with out abusing the person you are discussing the topic with (Joan included) I have seen her attack people because she misread something… You though are the worst… Anything that goes against your train of thought is wrong and there is nothing anyone else on this site can do to stop the insults and abuse that comes from you…

Jimmy, I truthfully believe that if you open your mind and discuss the post with a level head, you will start to understand are side as well…

commented 2015-08-27 15:17:12 -0400

Maybe you should educate yourself. Who Killed The Electric Car is mostly about the 1990’s and there is nothing conspiracy theory about it, which is funny coming from you – since conservatives are all about conspiracy theories.

Hell, gay marriage is a conspiracy theory to many conservatives. And who can forget the death panels conspiracy theory. Or how Obama would deliberately infect Americans with Ebola, including military service members, as part of his nefarious, Big Government agenda, or to further his purported goal of punishing America.

Or take your pick:

Terrorist Spy-Baby (birtherism)

Obama’s secret weather weapon

Anthropogenic climate change

Vast international liberal media conspiracy

Th’ gubment’s a’ gonna confiscate yer guns!

FEMA concentration camps

Department of State secretly run by Muslims

America is under Sharia law

UN black hellychoppers

commented 2015-08-27 14:59:10 -0400

I will, when you acknowledge that there are reasonable and sensible conservatives that don’t think as you do.

The Rebel is lucky to have people like Joan and Erin Berney. Otherwise this place would be a Sarah Palin paradise.
commented 2015-08-27 14:57:44 -0400
gees Jimmy, I was worried you self de-populated lol. Your response is pure cop-out!

No, I haven’t seen the movie Who Killed the Electric Car, I suspect it’s some wild conspiracy theory? The electric car lost out to the gas vehicle once the electric ignition was invented, as you no longer needed to crank it, which was difficult for men, never mind women (who preferred the electric cause you just pushed on the peddle), not to mention dangerous, as it caused serious injury and even death in a few cases if the crank “snapped back”. That was the game-changer. Stage two was to build gas stations across the country so’s you could always get gas, go forever (unlimited range). No worries about making it back to home to charge up (limited range). Whatever conspiracy theories are in that movie, you can fugetaboutit!!

That’s the thing with the Left – always conspiracy theories. I suspect it’s cause that’s what THEY do (with all their “secret meetings”) and tend to “assume” all others do like them. Same as the theory of money was to “enslave the people” (sound familiar Jimmy?). If you read The Wealth of Nations, you’ll find that money came about slowly, naturally. No conspiracy theories. There was a point in history, when you would pay for stuff by a variety of means. Trade a pig, or cow, or seeds, or shinny baubbles (gold or silver), whatever you had handy, whatever you could negotiate. Gold slowly took over, cause it was more versatile, and lighter than cows or pigs lol. Paper money, proved to be even lighter and more versatile. It, like most things we have today, was a progression. No conspiracies to enslave Jimmy. That’s Marxist rhetoric!

No Jimmy I don’t want a cookie… You always state that PC followers are closed minded and only believe in one way thought… It is very obvious that you didn’t read the comments that Eileen and I wrote… Now please tell me again how closed minded I am… I believe in all of Canada, (you on the other hand don’t) like statements that you have said and I quote… I am from Toronto and I couldn’t give a shit about Alberta… Unquote… You keep attacking every single person on this site, that has any clear reasoning about the subject that you are trying to defend… We all know you are a left leaning person (saying it gently) but come on, did you know about the ducks and what oil, had to do to please the tree huggers… Of course you didn’t because you thought you knew everything… Did you know the Alberta oil industry was the best in the world… No you didn’t, yet again because of your leftist thinking and half truths… Did you know Alberta oil patch workers are head hunted from all over the world… Of course you didn’t, because that hasn’t been told to you until now… But you leftist want to destroy the same thing that gives you wealth… Don’t think for one moment that it doesn’t the oil industry supplies jobs all across this country. From pipe manufactures in Ontario to the coating companies in Quebec to the workers that all travel to the west to work in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Northwest Territories and now since 2009 Manitoba… All these places have been the engine that is pushing the economy… As Newfoundland is a player but they are having issues getting there oil to market because of the Quebec government…

Geez Jimmy, you sound like a broken record, give up that mantra.
