WATCH: “Make my song famous, too!” -- More German comics mock Turkey's Erdogan

Victor LaszloRebel Commentator

We see how Erdogan and Chancellor Merkel are stepping in to enforce classic totalitarian anti-criticism of religious and political authority, at least where it comes to Islamic ones. Now other German comics want in.

Later today, there may be a post catching up on the attempted prosecution of the German TV comic who read the poem about Erdogan first seen here at the Rebel after German TV and Youtube pulled it down.

The story is important in that, 'Germany is tomorrow's newspaper for Canada today' sort of way.

Click the link above to see the video that started the whole storm of censorship in Germany.

Also note that PEGIDA founder, Lutz Bachmann, is now on trial for statements about immigration and Islam.

He had this to say about it yesterday before his trial began where he compared his situation to other public personalities who dare speak about Islam.

In the end though, Mr. Bachmann may be wrong. The only way in which all people in Germany might be treated equally before the law, is when they criticize Islam or mass immigration of Muslims.

They may all equally face harsh consequences.

Accuna got that right , if the real problem is not dealt with then if not Islam it will be something else.

the government of Germany will not let the people of Germany have a voice. they have ceased to be a government . they won’t even entertain the concerns of the German people any longer.
again I ask…
do I serve the government or does the government exist only to serve me ?
islam is only a symptom of that problem.
the real problem remains unchallenged.

Terrible song but it makes a point.
Wonder what would happen in Canada if something like that was aired here.
