WATCH: 'Star Wars' drone shoots 'lasers'

Rebel Staff

A video of a French crafter's latest 'Star Wars' drone shooting lasers has been making rounds online.

Oliver C created a drone that looks like an imperial Star Destroyer found in the popular film series.

According to the video description, it's equipped with s Go-Pro camera, radio system, propellers and flight controller.

Watch the video below of it flying and shooting 'lasers'.

Dr. Evil would approve.

BTW will people PLEASE stop calling these quadcopters “DRONES”! A drone is an unmanned aircraft or ship that CAN NAVIGATE AUTONOMOUSLY, without human control or beyond line of sight that follows a preprogrammed set of instructions. NOT the same as a radio controlled model which are controlled on the ground by a human being who guides it live. No privately operated drones exist. They are radio controlled models. Calling these models “drones” is always a massive embellishment used by the media to make it sound more ominous and is INCORRECT!

A cool RC helicopter. The lasers are definitely CG, but the RCMP will probably re-classify them to “Restricted”

Cool. Is it stealth protected? Does it fall under anti-gun law or can Canadians use them to self-defend? (Just kidding, CSIS.)
