Award-winning director Oliver Stone's 'Snowden' is shaping up to be a big time box office player just in time for the 2016 election.

According to the video description by Open Road Films on YouTube, “Snowden, the politically-charged, pulse-pounding thriller starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Shailene Woodley, reveals the incredible untold personal story of Edward Snowden, the polarizing figure who exposed shocking illegal surveillance activities by the NSA and became one of the most wanted men in the world. He is considered a hero by some, and a traitor by others. No matter which you believe, the epic story of why he did it, who he left behind, and how he pulled it off makes for one of the most compelling films of the year.”

As Collider points out, this kind of film, about a man like Edward Snowden, is tailor-made for Stone's style of directing and storytelling.

It may even receive some award nominations.

Check out the awesome trailer and sound off in the comments: do you think Snowden is a traitor or a hero?

Obama is a write-off, along with his membership in the Trudeau/Merkel axis of stupidity.

When Trump is president next year it’ll be interesting to see how he deals with the conflict of who is conducting the actual act of treason? Snowden or those who collect all the internet conversations just so they can have a big funded government justified by the perpetually propagandized spectre of fear.
