Who did Trudeau meet with in Alberta? Not the oil worker who wants to tell him, “hang in there” is not an answer

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Commentator

Trudeau was in Calgary to speak to oil and gas industry service providers in a round table with Environment Minister Jim Carr and Premier Notley on February 4. During the afternoon press conference with Premier Notley at the Calgary YWCA, Justin Trudeau said he's been meeting with workers and he hears their concerns.

But is that really true? Who has Trudeau been meeting with?

Wednesday night, the official itinerary says that Prime Minister Trudeau toured the international Brotherhood of Electrical Workers training facility in Edmonton for 20 minutes and then met briefly with members of the building trades of Alberta, before dinner. The only blue collar types Trudeau met with while he was in Alberta were trades unions.

What about all those real people I talk to everyday out on the street? Those people are the real face of the economic downturn in Alberta. They are moms and dads, our brothers and sisters and our friends and neighbours. They're losing their jobs, they're running out of employment insurance and they're out of severance. They are the people Notley and Trudeau don’t want to hear from. They didn't vote for the NDP and they didn’t vote for the Liberals.

The Canadian government has pledged over 4 billion dollars to help developing countries fight climate change. Much of that money came right from Alberta. And yet, these people in Alberta don’t want a handout to chase imaginary problems. They want jobs to fight very real unemployment.

Sold Out, these politicians are BOUGHT AND PAID FOR Globalist pirates. It doesn’t matter one iota what they say, they LIE, LIE ,LIE. They are hell bent on the destruction of the middle class in the whole country not just Alberta. They want your property rights, destruction of your Faith, and your Freedoms. Climate Change is just a Smoke Screen to distract you from what their real AGENDA is. They are Socialist/Commies and you are to be their Feudalistic Slaves, PERIOD. Stop looking at the dots, connect the dots and look at the BIG PICTURE. I am sorry if it is ugly but I can’t help that. That ringing you keep hearing in your ears, it’s the alarm bells, don’t push the snooze button again, it’s too late for sleeping in.

Morrigan – and this is why I think that our unemployed figures are much closer to the 12% range. The rest of Canada does not sense the urgency in AB, because our governments control the media now, and are suppressing the truth!

We’ve paid for the rest of Canada ever since transfer payments were instituted. Now, we need help… and the government generously offers to lend us the money to pay our transfer payments to the rest of Canada. Gee, thanks, that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. There are thousands of workers who are now unemployed because they were contract workers. That means no EI, no severance, nothing. Everyone else has a couple of months before they get desperate – some of us are already way past that. If we had a leader with any kind of stones, they’d drag out that not-withstanding clause and revisit the whole issue of transfer payments. Then maybe the province would have the money to reboot our economy, instead of flushing the lot of us down the drain.

Two vacuous leaders on the same podium at the same time.

Rae Fraser: I don’t know anyone who wants to be on pogey in Alberta, not a single sole. If you are looking for someone to target, try Notley and Trudeau who don’t want pipelines to get our product to market, which helps the entire nation.

Albertans want more Pogie. Pretty soon you guys will be just as much of a burden as the Maritimes.
commented 2016-02-07 09:48:02 -0500
The problem is that Albertans want to work! This is in direct apposition to Trudeau and Notley who have the primary goal of Canada’s Prime Miscreant and Alberta’s Nutley which is to develop dependents who need government hand-outs and will do what these false leaders demand!

I agree deborah, he has fanned the flames of separtists in alberta like never before, I speaking for myself WANT OUT. He just doesnt get it, WE DONT WANT WELFARE we want jobs and leaders prepared to treat every area fairly in this country. Hang in there, how about DO SOMETHING BESIDES BUZZ WORDS AND FEEL GOOD SLOGANS, He is just another in a long line of wealthy liberals from quebec who only want what they can take from the west. Same old BS.

The main reason that this fool was elected is because the press suppressed the truth, and manipulated the voters. There were a lot of people who were paid to take down PM Harper, for this immature creep. A lot of hands were greased, and are still being greased by the UN. Trudeau hates Canada and I can’t believe that people were fooled by this airhead. I can’t help shaking my head in shame, that so many voted against our country. And now we are on the fast track to communism hell.

What is the significance of a bright yellow tie ? Just curious.

Trudeau couldn’t care less. As long as his fat bank account keeps getting bigger and more immigrants….I mean Muslim non Canadians keep coming in to vote for him, we are so very screwed.

1971-84 Alberta had Lougheed countering Senior. 1993-2006 Alberta had Klein countering Chrétien, and it helped they were friends. 2015-2020 (I pray that is it) we have blonde bimbette countering brunette bimbo, not much hope is there.

Peter- Give me a call if you want in Viking. Mac Cumming.
commented 2016-02-06 18:51:11 -0500
Peter- You should be able to get a pipeline through before separation and as soon as the NDP are turfed the process could begin. The native population has no job prospects now and the promise of jobs would bring them onside. There is a lot of job potential all the way from supplying railroad ties, rails, timber and the pipe from local sources. The project would solve most of the problems we are facing. Also could be done almost entirely with private financing.
commented 2016-02-06 18:15:07 -0500
Mike Piesse said, " I keep hearing how Canadians have spoken and they want this ????"

Yea, and yet those same people called Harper’s majority illegitimate and illegal because they only had 39.85% of the vote.

Mac Cumming said, “Peter- The oil could be taken to Valdes Alaska and would not touch BC”

Well, if Alberta does separate, getting to Alaska can only be accomplished through the North West Territories and the Yukon, which would still be part of Canada. So yes, it would avoid BC, but would Canada, NWT and Yukon cooperate with a pipeline to Alaska?

Mac said, “Also a huge iron ore deposit west of manning is being developed for 2020 which with a blast furnace and rolling mill could manufacture the pipe as wee as the rails for the railroad.”

Really? I did not know that. That might make the town a bit bigger. Been there, nice quiet but stagnant farming town.

Alberta for sure has the natural resources to go it alone, but the problem is being land locked. Someone somewhere has to cooperate or Alberta is hooped before it gets separated.

Oh, but what am I saying!!! Sean Penson has already dictated from on high that Alberta cannot secede from Canada, so I guess we are hooped before it all starts.

39% I believe that was the actual percentage of people who voted liberal..so Canadians did not endorse all this … I keep hearing how Canadians have spoken and they want this ???? I am tired of hearing that crap…just the ones looking for free( money promised but not likely coming) and legal weed (promised but never to be seen) and those on the anyone but Harper campaign. .that was a real smart one hey clowns!!! The 3 real reasons we are in this mess

@kelvin Grabowsky

Would anarchy really be a bad thing? Maybe we need a reset. And watching all the urbanites loot and pilliage themselves would be amusing. Then Western separation could occur, or a continuation of manifest destiny.

At this point we need anything to break the Quebec stranglehold

@ Sean Penson

“collectivisation of farms & lands, resettlement & reeducation of people”

You should be tarred and feathered. I hope someday it happens. You’re a disgusting fascist and you should hang your head in shame

Sean Penson bleated: “Alberta will not be allowed to secede, plain and simple! Just because you don’t have your own way, politically and economically! Canada will never tolerate separatism.” Interestingly, the subsequent post revealed the inner Nazi of lefties!

I think that the false idol of Climate Change needs to be slaughtered and some of our politicians have to stand up and be counted as most are going along with the lies of the IPCC and using it as a way of taxing the people with this farce.

Hey Sheila,

Ya it’s sickening throwing billions of dollars of hardworking taxpayer money out of the country for fabricated and fraudulent causes like man-made global warming.

Giving away free, unaccountable money to murky foreign sources is simply a competition by the high-and-mighties to see who can manufacture the most moral sentiment.

All these elite wannabes hanker to win the Nobel prizes and other sappy recognition awards; in the hopes of being revered as green warriors and saviors of the earth. That is their chief psychological motivation.

Where is this 4 billion going? Where are all the receipts? Who are the middle men making a cut? Who’s accountable? Where is the results report showing the benefits received and remuneration in exchange for the money?
Did it change the temperature by 0.0000001 percent? That trivial result ain’t worth billions; nor three dollars.

Absolute thievery of the milk cow taxpayer.

That gentleman you interviewed, Chad Miller, and the people he represents; hard working people that sacrifice their time; the money could go back to them and their families to enjoy a happier life.

Peter- The oil could be taken to Valdes Alaska and would not touch BC. Alaska wants a railroad which would be a good bargaining chip. Also Alaska has a lot of gas to get out to the US market. I can see that a pipeline to Alaska and a pipeline for gas could solve both problems. Also a huge iron ore deposit west of manning is being developed for 2020 which with a blast furnace and rolling mill could manufacture the pipe as wee as the rails for the railroad.

I like how Junior stage manages his photo-ops. At the press conference he has representatives of orthodox Sikhs, of the physically disabled (both fulfilling their cabinet mandate of being present for photo-ops), and of the blonde bimbos. All on the same stage, front and centre; I wonder who the back drop personnel were?

So, the guy in the wheelchair, if he felt he wasn’t noticeable enough, decides to wear a purple shirt, with a yellow tie. No one can say that Ken Hehr isn’t a wallflower. But really, this was more about saving Notley’s hide. It’s becoming known that the NDP is already in crisis; the party is divided between those who are rational (Yeah, there are a few.) and those who are crazed progressives, who want to shut the whole O&G industry down forever. (Which there are many.) There are calls for Notley to cool it with the revolution, as well as calls for her to put a stake in everything and kill it right now. And leadership in Alberta is also in a state of flux. Notley’s numbers are collapsing, heading her toward becoming the most hated premier of all time. But the numbers for Brian Jean and whoever that guy is for the PCs are not that much better. I predict all three are extremely unpopular and are completely unsuitable to be premier. The time is right for a true conservative to step and take the reins. Oust the CINO Brian Jean from the WRP leadership and replace him with a true conservative and Alberta sovereigntist.

Sean Penson has just tipped his hand. The real leftist progressive fucktard in him has been revealed. His reply to Darryl Gin says it all, he is a communist puke and is all in on agenda 21. What sad existence of a human.
