Here's why the RCMP's new Muslim hijab uniform is unCanadian -- and anti-woman

Rebel Staff

How would you feel if you were coming to Canada from some sharia hell-hole, and the first thing you saw was a hijab on a cop?

Well, according to documents leaked exclusively to us at The Rebel, that might be happening very soon.

These documents say the Royal Canadian Mounted Police are bringing in a new women’s police uniform featuring a Muslim hijab.

So in other words, the RCMP now endorses sexism.

Because the Muslim hijab suggests women must be covered in public, and that any women who aren't covered in public are haram — that is, dirty.

That’s what a hijab means — unlike non-hijabbed women, they’re halal, or clean.

This is too far. This isn’t Canada.

In Canada, we’re all equal before the law. The hijab isn’t even a religious symbol. It’s a political symbol. We don't allow police to wear political party buttons, do we?

We need to fight back.

I’ll be going out of my way to converse with a hijabbed cop. “Excuse me, are you enforcing Canadian legislation or Sharia law? I ask only because your head gear is a political statement and not a religious requirement as I’m sure you are aware. Am I going to get a $20.00 ticket per Canadian law or have a hand cut off as per your 7th century violently anti-non-muslim ideology?” “What do you think of this Mohammed drawing I made – enough blood from the severed head he’s holding?”

Does the author have a reference for the meaning of haram and halal? I can only find the meanings of forbidden (haram) and permitted (halal).

Considering all the law suits against the RCMP right now (200+) by female officers for sexual harassment are we surprised the misogynist force wants to identify its Muslim rape targets. As we all know, Muslim migrants consider all woman as “Property” and this will just help identify to male officers in the RCMP that these are new targets for their un-wanted sex advances. Yes, I know this is cynical but “Stupid is as stupid does.”

I served with the RCMP for 30 years and in all those years I never dreamed of such bs happening to the force. I’d bet my pension cheques that this is soley a liberal government policy designed to show a minority of refugees that we as a country will do anything to make them feel welcome here. The first few muslim females who get into the force will (if qualified, and that’s a big IF) get plum postings and be on the front page of every major liberal newspaper in the country. What a shame that sr. management of the force allow this to happen. Speak up people and stand up. Grab a set of balls and tell the liberal government that you will not allow this to happen, at least on your watch. Being remembered as one of the sr. management group at the time this came into effect is not something to be proud of. If that doesn’t bother you then go ahead remain silent and fall in line with little Justin and continue to do what you are told, even if you do not agree. Have a nice day.

I don’t believe there should be any visible display of any religious/cultural/political symbol on law enforcement uniforms.

I don’t think this is just for Muslim women! I think they will try to force this trash on our white female officers. If I was in the RCMP, there isn’t a chance in hell that I would wear this symbol of oppression. And I hope those women currently in the RCMP will do the same.

the gay cops should have their own little rainbow-colored ensemble.

“Lad Reme commented 17 hours ago
A Muslim with a Gun is a dangerous combination and should be avoided at all costs. "

Sorry, you can’t pick and choose who gets to bear arms. Either everybody does, or nobody does. It’s the ’sovereign citizens" who really need to have their weapons confiscated.

Do we feel the same way about RCMP officers that wear turbans, or are we specifically going to pick on Muslims?

Will Quest – " absolute relativism" ??
At best that is an oxymoron :-)

Sorry, I just can’t get worked up about the continued deterioration of a politically indulgent paramilitary police force which has long outlived its purpose and now serves only as the defacto social policy enforcement tool for the federal cabinet. You have to be a pretty superficial Canadian to define your national identity with this retrogressive organization.

WILL QUEST, writer and former refugee George Jonas, who died last week was of the same opinion as you. He wrote that immigrants compete for the existing identity of a nation, asking for changes that appear to be small and often dismissed as merely symbols, eg permitting turbans to be worn on construction sites or allowing ceremonial daggers in schools but that chip away little by little at our identity.

One of the fundamental reasons that people do not like a hijab is that it shows that the wearer is rejecting the society in which they live in as they are following their own, non-inclusive way of life. This person should not be part of the RCMP.

RCMP and the HIJAB-uniform , this is what a permissive multiculturalism does, enables and ennobles all manner of ideological fetishes in our secular public space , always at the expense of our Judeo-Christian
heritage . In fact this feral multiculturalism, with its piety of absolute moral/cultural/religious…. relativism , sees no exceptional value in Western culture, certainly none better than those governing miserably failed states.
Creeping sharia com pliancy……….. drip-by-drip-by-drip.
Ezra take a look at the exponential growth of Halal abattoirs , to satiate a growing need for sacrificial meat, employing only Muslims and collecting fees for the Imam who blesses this cruel ritual sacrifice to the most benevolent most merciful and also the collection of fees for that halal certificate…….all passed on to the Canadian consumer …… quite the shake down .
Also take a look at the under ground sharia-courts, it’s quite invasive in Islamic enclaves right here in Canada , with self-styled arbiters dispensing divine laws .
Thanks Ezra for your principled advocacy it is greatly appreciated .

When Tarek Fatah had a death threat from a Muslim woman he called the cops. They sent 2 Muslim cops to investigate. They refused to lay charges.

Whenever a cop pulls me over —-I usually joke and they don’t charge me. It is getting to be more difficult now . They always state—- " Do you know why I stopped you "? If it is a White guy I just ask “Was I speeding”? If it is a Minority — I accuse them of Racial profiling before they can even say why they pulled me over. If it is a Muslim bitch—- WTF- I will accuse her of -—a Hate crime , hates Christians ,and hates White people , in general.

Now we know why cops go after anti-Islamic “hate” crimes like a swarm of ravenous locusts, while ignoring or downplaying crimes committed by Islamics. Their mandate now is to enforce Sharia law, not Canadian law. That is why they are donning Islamist headgear. In Sharia, Islamics can do whatever they please, while kaffir infidels are criminals no matter what we do. Islamics get to carry guns and other weapons with impunity while Canadian kaffir are subjected to strict (and getting stricter) gun control. Under Canada’s Caliphate you get 10 years in prison for draping a slice of bacon on a mosque door, but if your name is Muhammad you get to storm crowded nightclubs and blow away the patrons with impunity. Free-dumb, Canadian style.

Rightly Van, I don’t know if it is the same problem I have or not. When I am signed in I can’t seem to get to the page to sign the petition. When I am not signed in I am able to sign the petition.

Sikhs don’t force their religion on anyone. ‘The universal goal of a Sikh is to have no hate or animosity to any person, regardless of factors like race, caste, color, creed, gender, or sexuality.’

Islamists want to force Shariah law on the west. If you don’t conform they kill you. They carry hatred in their hearts, are racists, misogynist, rapists, slave masters, pedophiles, commit homosexual acts on the one hand, while throwing gays off buildings with the other.

Sikhs( who fought for Queen and country) wearing turbans vs Islamists ( who are committing mass genocide as we speak) promoting Sharia creep, by the acceptance of hijabs in our police force . I know which one I would pick.

Edward Jobin, it does beg the question. Maybe a rep from the RCMP will come on Ezra’s show next week to explain. I would love to know.

This RCMP mindset of their “cultural outreach” is nothing less than sexist, racist, and misinformed religious prejudice. Why does Canada’s reality get displaced by this leftist inside-out ideology? This is not equality, it’s favouritism.

Just tried the “www.shariapolice.ca” in the browser but keeps bringing up this page which already has the “Sign the Petition” button doing the same but bringing up a button with postal code field on the right side of the page. A little confusing for a novice.

R.G. I don’t think Canada has the same separation of church and state as does the U.S. I don’t think we have an equivalent of the establishment clause however I also can think of one interesting scenario. What if a woman who refuses to wear her hijab/niqab calls the police because she doesn’t want to be forced by her husband to submit. How would such an officer react?

LEE HORSEMAN, says “There is a huge difference between a truly genuine religious requirement (the Sikh turban)”.
__________________________________________________________
The Sikh turban isn’t a religious requirement. It was mandated by the British after the 1857 rebellion in India when they designated the Sikhs as one of the warrior castes. They were made to cover their hair with a turban.

Charles Moulton, Great comment! He’d probably give her a harder time once he knew she was a Muslim. And perhaps, other men would too. Wearing a headscarf is making a political statement and is something that shouldn’t be mixed with law enforcement. Imagine if a Jewish RCMP officer, wearing a kippah stopped a Muslim who hates Jews? Why the need to identify ones religion?

The whole thing is ludicrous.

It is sadly inevitable and entirely predictable that comparisons will now be drawn to the past decision to make the Sikh turban an optional part of the traditional RCMP uniform. Those comparisons are completely inappropriate in my humble opinion.
There is a huge difference between a truly genuine religious requirement (the Sikh turban) and a fake one (the non-religious foreign cultural practice of covering the hair, neck, and sometimes the face, supposedly in the name of “modesty”) Very few authoritative Muslim scholars have been willing to assert that the niqab and hijab are required by Islam, but many of their alleged followers still refuse to let it go. Clearly, politics is far more important than religion to many of these people.
The Federal Court of Canada failed in a very, very huge way when it stood up for Zunera Ishaq’s right to refuse compliance with a modest and quite reasonable request, please uncover your face momentarily while we swear you in as a Canadian citizen. The floodgates are now wide open.
Forget the bubonic plague, AIDS, antibiotic-resistant infections, and everything else. The REAL threat to the future of human civilization is, unquestionably, the rampant and completely unchecked spread of the most hideous pandemic in recorded human history, the Black Death of Political Correctness. The end gets closer every day.

What happens if a women is wearing a Hijab, and she pulls over a Muslim man? Do you believe that man would even listen to her? This could even get a female cop hurt. The left has completely lost their minds.
